Price is low but at the cost of your animal coming out in worse condition than they went in. I took my cat in for vaccines in Dec 2022 and she was limping with swollen hindquarters for almost a month. You can't go in the exam room with your animal. They won't approve prescriptions unless it's being filled by another vet, not even to the akc pharmacy. They treat you like you don't know your animal and have horrible people skills.

I have love this veterinary clinic since I moved back to Minnesota in 1993. The staff is always so friendly and so good with the animals. And the vets are just awesome.

I brought my cat all the way from St Peter to that Vet Clinic last Summer and they were very kind and helpful they pulled my cats bad tooth that had cracked off and they cleaned all of his teeth and checked all other teeth for any problems. They kept him over night to monitor him and the next day the tech even carried my cat carrier with my cat in it to my car when I had a hard time to carry him in his carrier. I'm elderly so she was very kind and nice and they were very reasonable priced which I loved 👏...It was a nice place and great Dr and a great technician she was great 👍🙂 very impressed ‼️‼️👍 Thank you all at the clinic for taking such wonderful care of my senior cat 🐈👏👍‼️

Our dog was bleeding from his eye and I couldn't get it to stop. Went through dozens of paper towels. Called this vet and asked what I should do.his answer ummmm I don't know what you're going to do about that!!!!!SERIOUSLY

I have been here in the past, mostly because they are inexpensive. However, the past couple years, I have switched to the vet in st James. Today, mostly for the convenience of them being closer, I called this particular vet to ask about info on putting my dog down. We’ve had him for 9 years and he’s old and in pain. I was given the information and said I would call back later today. Due to me being at work, my 18 yr old daughter called back to set up the appointment. She was talked to extremely rude. Saying they are not accepting new patients and the lady was annoyed that she couldn’t find me in their system. You would think, considering the line of work they are in and the circumstances around why we were calling, they’d have some compassion. I learned my lesson today that maybe somewhere else costs a bit more and may not be as convenient, but some things are worth that extra money and the extra drive. Definitely a situation where you get what you pay for. Just to add, this wasn’t only the lady that answered the phone. I called back and talked to the owner and he didn’t seem to care either. My recommendation, go to the vet in St James. They are reasonably priced and always friendly!

The doctor and staff are great. The first time I had to bring my dog to them was an after hours call. The were very friendly and took great care of my dog. They a very reasonably priced. I would and do recommend them to everyone.

Was really disappointed in the care I received for my 10 week kitten. Over the phone the were rude and seemed passive and upon arrival seemed annoyed. They had brought my kitten to be examined and came out 5 minutes to later say she was fine and I had to point out the lump on her neck. They didn't even acknowledge her throat and had to bring her back but still came out 5 minutes later to say she was fine. I would NOT trust their care with your pets, please look else where.

Got in on a Saturday with a little stray cat that has decided to adopt us. Had her earmites treated and an overall check up. We hope she will hear better once her earmites are gone! Very grateful we got her in right away. Awesome vet!

Doors are locked. Drive up, call them on the phone, they tell you to come to the door. I delivered my injured male cat, they took a few minutes to give my cat treatment and medicine, while I went back to my car and waited for their phone call. When they called my cell, I picked up my precious cat at the door and the prescription in hand. The Dr gave me instructions, and I was on my way home. They have everything so well organized, and completely safe. I am very impressed with the Doctor, the kindness and care they always show.

Dr. Bogan and the team are excellent! The prices are very reasonable, the team is knowledgeable, competent, compassionate, efficient, and safe especially with the current health situation. Dr. Bogan is very talented and skilled - from basic care to complex care to end of life care. Wonderful clinic to have your fur-kids seen at!

They wouldn't help my dog...it was an emergency and they told me they only had one vet and too busy. Disappointing will never call them again. Beware your pet may be on its own when you need them most.

I started bringing my animals to makotah because I just moved in the area and I was very disappointed .The vet seemed very ornery the all three times that I had to bring my dogs.The very last time I what's there I bring my Hundred 20 lb male half Mastiff half Great Pyrenees for a allergie shot it's just a shot that goes right under the skin shouldn't hurt at all and the vet Jammed the needle so hard that I'm sure it hit his spine bone and my dog cringed and cryed because the vet hurt him and I could not believe it I was so upset I will never take my dogs there again very uncaring vet and always in a bad mood. I would rather pay more at a vet to make sure my dogs are well taken care of and not abused in any way.

I picked my dog Thumper up he had open wounds bleeding blood all over my dog . He was abused they hadn't the decency to even clean him up or to to inform me as to what or how to clean the wounds. Disgusting

The staff is dedicated as well as the vet. The vet goes into clinic 7 days a week. They only have 1 vet however the are trying to get another vet.
