I’d leave zero stars if I could. Stopped in tonight with my family and have never been treated so poorly at an establishment. We were literally the only people there and the bartender didn’t want to do their job. My husband asked what they had in bottles the bartender said. “Just tell me what you want I’m not naming what we have”. Told us my kids were not allowed to play pool, talk, go back and forth between the table and claw machine. We brought them items to keep them occupied but that wasn’t good enough. As if we were bugging the regulars who were not even there yet. Not sure where else we would’ve stopped to get food on the way to my grandparents. Good to know you don’t want service or to do your job. We won’t be back unless absolutely necessary! Disgusting behavior for small town Minnesota. I’m from this town and you make me not want to claim it ever again when this is how you treat people, if you “think” they aren’t from here. So disappointed.

Great place to meet up with family and friends. Kasey is an excellent server/bartender. We enjoyed drinks and great tunes on the jukebox. My sister and I worked on a crossword scratch ticket while we munched on our appetizers. Wouldn't you know it, by golly! We won $200!!! This bar has a very rustic and True North ambiance. The interior and all of the rustic log furniture was hand crafted by local icon, James D. Olson. Trust me, it's worth the drive just to see the inside!

Today they had a hot pulled pork sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy as their lunch special. It was spectacular and taste just like home cooking! The service was equally spectacular!

Hidden Gem. Nothing better than the shrimp dinner on summer night. Cozy up to the bar and talk Norwegian trolls and mink farming.
