This place has good product choices on stocks and the store is in the middle of town. On stock is common items of which is easy to find, and I am sure if you ask a employee they will instantly help you unless if they’re busy. They also serve some food in the heater and there is also a bakery which it doesn’t taste too bad.ONLY BAD thing tho is that some food are expired, mostly frozen/meat.

Staff is ALWAYS kind and helpful. I really love shopping here because of the staff and how close it is to home. While things are pricy, the product selection is pretty good for a small town store.Outside of the bratwurst (which is EXCELLENT), the meat department leaves more to be desired when it comes to quality. Good enough in a pinch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to pick up a steak or ground beef here.Stuff seems to be a bit closer to expiring when I pick it up at Zup’s in Babbitt than if I go to Ely Zup’s or Virginia SuperOne. Sometimes the close expiration makes products marked down, sometimes it doesn’t.Love shopping here for quick pick ups and to support the local businesses. I’d be in more frequently and for larger quantities if things were cheaper. For now it just doesn’t fit my budget to do that.... I’ll keep up with my biweekly trips to Aldi and SuperOne.

Good small town grocery store. Clean, plenty of parking, the staff are very nice and helpful. A very good choice of produce, meat, dairy, everything one needs. Only thing that may be discouraging for some is they close at 6pm, so just keep that in mind.

We love Zup's meats! Hotdogs and meat sticks are my favorite but love their breakfast sausage. Everything we've tried is awesome! Store is very clean and their employees are helpful and friendly!

Never been in the main Ely location. I hope the "consolidation" of Northland and Zup's into the old Shopco bldg proves worthwhile for all involved. Don't forget Bob the Meat Cutter!

Dont like that this is the only store for 15 miles to get groceries there are times when you shop that the produce is going bad and there are times that you find expired stuff on the shelves. There are been plenty of times we have bought expired food and have had to go back.
