What a nice spot. The ice cream was surprisingly inexpensive for a lot of ice cream. 22 oz. M&M chocolate ice cream Flurry for $5. Nice outdoor eat area.There are a few out door tables and a couple of benches. Staff were friendly and quick with making my Flurry. This spot can't get any better. Directly across the street is a park with a beautiful lake. There are picnic tables and benches. The area and tables look well maintained as well. I highly recommend trying this little spot out.

Lot's of Sunday options! And the prices are very reasonable too. Amazing how busy it is for a Tuesday at noon, steady stream of people stopping by for lunch treat.

We were passing through Albert Lea and found this bomb ice cream shop. Amazing prices. I had a small cup with 2 flavors for $2 and we got a large flurry with 1 topping for $4.50. They also have smoothies, malts, dole whip, sundaes, slushees, friaries, and soft serve. Plenty of tables outside and you order at the walk up window. There is also a lake across the street that you can walk to a small island. Friendly and fast service.

Pretty good ice cream shop. There are a lot of choices and sizes of ice cream which was very nice. You order at one window and then when they call, you get it at the other window. You can only sit outside. There were enough tables and benches, however not many that had shadow from the sun. Prices seem good for the amount you get.A fun thing they added was that the spoons are color changing, so when they become cold they turn from pink to purple.

Update:They haven't changed the way they do things, and their Dole Whip flavors aren't...as advertised. Ordered two "duo" cups, and the flavors weren't as advertised.Original:Friendly, tasty and efficient. Though their line is usually long (always a good sign), their ice cream is worth the wait.The flavors are spot on and they are kind while you're ordering/picking-up.Two experiences I've had now though, is that when I order it in a cup, they fill 1" of the bottom, then create a cylinder of ice cream (hollow through the middle) and top it off with ice cream. It doesn't feel like I'm getting what I'm paying for when I get a hollow cup.The ice cream is tasty though...so, there's that. But if you are like me and prefer a non-messy cup...you're going to get less ice cream than if you order one of their massive cones (which I can confirm as I've seen them, are amazing).Personal preference that I don't like a half empty cup, but I'd still say it's good ice cream.Parking: Lots of spots, but other businesses share the parking lot, so it's routinely very busy.

Wow! What a great ice cream shop! We ordered both a malt and shake so my boys could taste the difference because they asked if they were different. Both boys strongly preferred the malt! They said it had more flavor.

Cute ice cream place. Kids loved the bubble gum ice cream. I tried the chocolate one with gummy worms. Was delicious. The price was decent. Will definitely stop again the next time we're in the area.

We visited the Spam museum and a girl in the gift shop recommended this place.Great selection of ice cream and toppings. It's worth the money and the drive.Will visit again.

This place is only second to the Blast in Owatonna. Fast friendly service. Depending on the day it can be a very popular spot but they are quick so you are never waiting too long. They increased their selection this year too which is awesome! The newest addition of Frostline is lactose and gluten free was a great addition so far my favorite is the salted caramel in it but they haven't rotated through all the flavors yet. I am looking forward to trying all of them.I also enjoy their sundae selections.

This is one of those great places you'd totally miss if you weren't looking. When I was driving from Des Moines to Minneapolis and got a craving for ice cream, Google said this place was highly rated. It was fantastic! Staff was friendly and fast and the servings were delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced. They even had a pup cup for a dollar! Highly recommended!

Great place for a cold sweet treat! The line can get long, sure, but the quality service keeps things moving at a good pace-- and it's always worth the wait. I'm a fan of the turtle sundae myself, but there are great options for mixing toppings in a variety of combinations. The are even dairy-free options in the Dole whip flavors.

First time here... Had an excellent strawberry shake, and my son thoroughly enjoyed his banana split. The only complaint some of our group had was that the ice cream was on the soft side even for soft serve, but everything was still tasty!

Love Eat'n Ice Cream. They have so many different options to choose from. Their prices are great too. Be prepared to wait in line tho. The dole whip flavors are amazing. I also love the parfait with the dole whip.

Made it on the last day of the season after spending the weekend at the State Park camping. So worth the construction to get over here. Friendly staff and great ice cream. Highly recommended.

This ice cream shop is open in the summer and it only has seating outside. But this makes it very unique and adds a huge touch to Albert Lea. By far the cheapest ice cream place I have ever been to and one of the best. Way cheaper than Dairy Queen. They offer all different sizes of soft serve ice cream and mix ins along with slushees, dole whip (dairy free), milkshakes, and beverages! And the best part is that it’s right across from the fountains and picnic tables on Fountain Lake!
