Great little hometown diner. Service was friendly and fast. Food was yummy! Great selection. We had fish, chicken drummies,and burgers fed family of 5 for under $50. Zappy’s was a pleasant surprise! They have wonderful, tasty comfort food at affordable prices.The atmosphere was clean and welcoming and the staff were so sweet. They were also very accommodating of my dietary restrictions and had gluten free bread for their sandwiches!Thank you for the wonderful lunch!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free bread!

We arrived to this small restaurant on our way back to the cities and it was pretty busy. We waited roughly 30min for our food although when we finally did receive our food it was worth the wait because the food was perfect. I had the ribs and they were perfectly cooked, my wife had the burger and she loved it. I work in the restaurant business and I have high expectations when it comes to flavor and how the meat is cooked and this place met all my expectations. I highly recomend anyone who might be driving through to stop in this place.

Good hot coffee, no wait, friendly staff. I felt like the food was really reasonably priced, and you get a ton more than any human could possibly eat.Hash browns came out crispy, just how I like them, and they don’t skimp on the fixings in their omelets.Worth the drive from Park Rapids for sure!

After driving by for many years we thought we would stop on our journey home for breakfast. We were quickly greeted by a very polite waitress who got us our coffees right away. The menu offered a lot of options to fill you up. I ordered the everything hashbrowns and they were good but could have used an egg or two on top but no complaints as the way they were served tasted very good. I also had a cup of the loaded potato and ham soup and it was amazing! Service was very quick and staff were both friendly. This cafe is nice and clean and in a convenient location. The food is OK and the speed at which the food was made was slow.When it comes to the food, the eggs and toast were good but the hash browns were a little undercooked. The coffee wasn't very good.If you are heading South in the morning this is a good place to stop, but I wouldn't go out of your way to come here.

The food was very good. I would highly recommend the Reuben. It was one of the best I have had in a long time. The service wasn't great as it wasn't overly busy and my wife had to go get us silverware. Our water glasses were not ever topped off either. The floor was dirty but the rest of the restraunt was quaint with a variety of historical photos of the area mixed in with some other fun artwork. Breakfast is served all day and the portions are just right. If you ate in the area, make Zappy's a must stop at destination!

Breakfast. Saturday, 09:30. Sat down right away and was served. Great coffee. Party of 4 all thought the food was great! Hearty toast. Hearty breakfast. Great value. I would recomend eating here. And we purchased one of their cool coffee cups for 5 bucks!

Zappys pancakes are not for the faint of heart. Lol Awesome gigantic pancakes!! They can double as a full body pillow,, airbag for your car, or Frisbee.... Great service too

This place it a typical greasy spoon. But they charge extra for using a credit card and charge for soda by the cup and cannot make a good cup of coffee.

Tables not cleaned yet not busy. Wait staff curtious but not effect. Our meal took 30 mins to get to table and part of order wasn't present. Cook for got but did fix and came 15mins after meal was on table. Condiments had to be asked for twice. They seemed un prepared for guests, waiter very young but tried hard. Food was good but the lettuce on the plate was wilted and had some brown mushy spots on it. Never would have served the lettuce and cooked onions were asked for and raw ones were served on burger. PARTY OF 3 FOR DINNER MEAL.
