First time going here, my mother's dog is itching and Kelsey recommended me the right dog food and shampoo for his dry skin and his itching, she was just fantastic and so nice to talk to we did find out our moms are just alike lol ,it was nice talking to her. I will definitely go back and recommend this store in westland on Merriman and cherry hill st .My mom's dog needs to eat better and not so much bad chicken and bad table food it makes him itch.

Stopped in for the first time to give our golden doodle a bath. $14.99 to use the wash bays was excellent.Staff very friendly. They provide all the items needed to keep that mess right there and save your back and bathroom the war zone it would become.After. They even have treats for your newly cleaned furry friend.Well worth it !

Went in today upset cause my cat wouldn't eat. I was asked by staff if I needed help. Told her what was going on, she walked me over to several food options, told me her suggestion and gave me great advice. My cat was sleeping when I got home he finally had enough energy I tempted him with food she suggested and he ate. Now he is zooming around. THANK YOU !!! I didn't catch the woman's name but she had blonde hair pulled back, SO NICE, and the cashier was great too. So friendly. I had no idea this was a chain to be honest. It seemed like a mom and pop shop the way they were so kind. I live 20 minutes away (was on way home from a friends) I have a big retail chain store by me 5 mins and I'm making the switch. I rather drive 15 mins extra, they are great people.

Our favorite pet store! We usually go to the Livonia location but that location is much busier so it's nice to go to the Westland one for less people and my pup being able to explore the aisles a little easier. 😊

Best pet store in metro Detroit. All their locations have a vast selection. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. If you are looking for a pet store this is the place.Went in today and Frankie was a big help!

Louis is an amazing employee. I had an issue and he addressed it easily. He recommended product and I declined but used another one anyways and it did not work as well. To my disappointment I called and he promptly offered a refund and exchange. I got another product that worked amazing, thank so much, Louis.

The staff is exceptionally friendly here! They make it a joy to come into the store! We shop here for cat supplies and they have a wide selection of toys and treats that we don’t see in the other local retailers. Being smaller than a big box store makes the shopping experience less overwhelming, but they still always have 100% of what we are looking for. I highly recommend this location for their service and their selection.

My Go to for all my pet supplies.Employees are helpful and friendly.Only complaint... I bought a few fish recently and they died within 2 days.All they do for that... You get 10% off of next fish purchase.I'll continue to go there for other things but will never buy fish there again

I stopped in the Westland location on Sunday to get my fur baby some food and there was a young lady at the register. I don’t typically leave reviews but this young lady was so helpful and kind. She deserves a shout out! I believe she said her name is Megan. I did a lot of running around that day. She was the only cashier that was kind to me. I will be back simply because of her. Thank you for making my day of errands better!

Went there to look for guinea pig supplies, seeing they had good prices on the cages outside, the products they sell for them though, were way more than, if not double, what I pay for them at other places. They had a good selection of toys for them, not food, but way too expensive.

I enjoy Premier Pets, all of their locations, but Westland is my favorite.They are extremely welcoming and helpful. I have asked them, probably, 100's, of questions and they are super helpful.I had issues with my dogs eating habits and several of their employees checked on me, remembering my issues, every time I came in.

Great place to go for pet supplies. People are great. They will help you put all heavy items in your vehicle. Hopefully they will have a store in Dearborn Heights. There is a point system on Easy clean cat litter. 10 bags get one free.

It's about time we get the size of store that we need for Westland. Today I was assisted by Sam a friendly knowledgeable human. I was greated as always at the door by ken!!I've lived here since 2002. With everything from cat climbers to dog beds guinea pigs to fish, every snack treat and toy you could want.

I love this mom+pop store+the kind *very*knowledgeable employees-I'm so happy it opened up close to home.We have 3 kitties that adopted us +a neighborhood stray that comes for breakfast+dinner on the daily. Their selection of food,litter and toys keeps them happy+content.Plus the owner is awesome. A win-win all around!

This is the fourth Premier Pet Supply store I've been to in the area. I can happily say that this location is no different than the other three: well stocked and super friendly employees! The animals they had for sale were also in clean cages with food and water. I went in the other day for insects for my bearded dragon and the guy that helped me couldn't have been nicer. I could tell he wasn't the biggest fan of handling tomato worms and superworms, but he didn't complain once! Lol. Prices are in line with other pet stores. I highly suggest however to sign up for their rewards program as you get a percentage off your bill and also earn points that count towards a cash coupon (5 or 10 dollars off.)

This location just opened today (6/16/22) and we had a wonderful experience with the staff; we brought both of our dogs in for a bath (Great experience as well, large tubs, good blow dryers, clean rooms) and found the facilities here had everything we needed to bathe both our 25lb dog and our 110 lb dog.Everyone is super friendly, prices are competitive to other local and national retailers, and there's been a major overhaul of the physical space to make it pet ready!I think we've found our new favorite bath place!

Higher prices than my regular pet store. Mostly have specialty items not always available in other stores. Very limited selection of smaller bags of dry dog food. Was told a certain brand was not available in a smaller size. Went to Goody's Pet Supply in Wayne, where they ordered the smaller size for me.Will stick to ordering on Amazon. Lower prices, quick, free delivery.

It's the first time I've used the do it yourself dog wash anywhere but it was not worth $15. The water is barely warm, the dryer blows only cold air. "Too hot is a liability." My little 15 pound shih tzu almost froze. I used my own shampoo and my own towels. I was hoping it would be easier to do here than home. Not the case. Maybe when the weather is warm but not now and still not worth it.

Staff is incredibly rude the heavyset younger woman screamed at me, I picked up a guinea pig because I wanted to see it closer as it looked like it might have a respiratory infection. Was told we're not allowed to handle the animals prior to purchase. Inadequate heating for many reptiles in this location
