By far one of the best experiences we have had!!The Scout Troop my children are in worked together and got a camping and rafting weekend planned, rafting down the Pine River with PRPC.The staff was amazing to work with from the very beginning to us hiking back to our campsites.Not only were the staff great with last minute add ons, they also answered a million questions from the scouts and were knowledgeable about the area. We had a group of 26 go down the river and all 26 are wanting to come back next year!!Truly one of the best scouting experiences we have had yet.

Our "winter" rafting trip was so much fun - even though the weather was more like spring! I highly recommend this as a relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors. Our guide, Josh, did all the padding, our job was to bask in the scenery and pet Hox the dog. I'm so glad Hox was available to join our excursion!We hiked back and that was amazing, as well. A lovely afternoon!Hoping to do this again sometime when there's snow and ice.

We went Winter Rafting this past weekend with our guide, Jake, and Mr. Hoxey! Even though there was no snow, it was a very fun experience. Highly recommend requesting Hoxey to join the raft and also hiking the trails back to the launch spot. We had a great girls weekend and will definitely be back! 😊

We loved our winter rafting trip! Even without the snow it was beautiful and so peaceful. Our guide was great and was extra kind by leaving some stickers on my car since as we were hiking back. I had wanted some but forgot to get them before leaving. Super nice extra touch that meant a lot to us. We would highly recommend them.

No snow, but that didn't make a difference. Our guide was friendly but not intrusive. He was very knowledgeable about the river and plant life along the banks. Saw two eagles. Support this family business.

What a great time. Our guide Josh was a pleasure to spend time with. He knows the river well and the nature surrounding it. He really made the trip for us. The rest of the staff and management were very welcoming as we switched from driving to rafting clothes. Pine River Paddlesports is a great experience and highly recommended. Thank you.

My teen and I took a wonderful fall kayak trip on the 2 hr section of the Pine. Our party went from 7 at reservation to 2 the day of and they were very accommodating all the way through. We were given well explained safety instructions and a lil "quiz" on the shore that helped us avoid tipping on the trip. Unexpected doggo pets at the camp, too!

We had such a fun time on the Pine River with PRPC! The staff were informative, friendly, helpful, and cheerful. We did the Peterson to Low Bridge white water section and had a blast. We were in sit-on-top kayaks and loved the experience - no one fell out, but it was easy to get in and out/dump out water at various sand bars. The water was cold! Overall, beautiful river and beautiful people. We expect to come back regularly for our annual mom get-away AND bring up our families for camping and fall/winter rafting trips.

We went over Christmas break with 19 people and had the best time. we had 9 kids with 2 under 2 and could not believe how much fun it was. Everyone had a great time and it was so beautiful. Jacob was one of our guides and he was great keeping the kids entertained towards the end of the ride. We all said we want to go back either this summer or next break!

We had the opportunity to do winter rafting. It was a great experience. Absolutely beautiful after the snowfall the day before. Our guide, Jake was so knowledgeable about the river and the area. He made the most of our experience by directing the raft where we would have the best views. We were so grateful that they allowed our small dog to join us. He even had a wool blanket for him to use.Can’t wait to go back this summer.

We stayed at Pine River Paddlesports for camping and kayaking this past weekend. Both were fabulous. The campground is secluded and quiet with tall trees surrounding each campsite. The property is beautifully wooded. The bathroom was very clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. My teenage son and I did the 3 hour paddle in single kayaks through the Class I rapids and had a blast! We loved the rapids. We hiked up the dune for a great view of the horseshoe bend in the river. I am so grateful for Pine River Paddlesports for a great experience all around!

We went on the Pine River Winter Rafting trip. It was fantastic! So beautiful and peaceful. Our guide was very friendly and pointed out interesting sights along the way. Afterward, we hiked back on the 2-mile trail. It was a great way to spend a winter's day in Michigan!

We have been taking our boys to PRPC for 5+ years now on our annual mom vacation/leave our husbands at home trip and have NEVER been disappointed! The staff is incredibly helpful, professional and nice. Their little shop has great apparel and gifts to choose from! We booked the 4 hour rafting trip and it was so much fun! The river is beautiful and our boys loved stopping to climb the dunes and swim. We got to experience some mild rapids which made the trip even more exciting! Occasionally we did get stuck on some debris but that is all part of rafting down the river and makes it fun! We will continue to book trips with PRPC every summer!! Thank you!

We took a 3 hr rafting trip with our 2 small children (ages 5 and 8) on the Pine River. The staff at PRPC were so friendly and accommodating to us in preparing for our trip with small kiddos. Jake was so helpful; very thorough in explaining things to watch out for along the river and tips to make our rafting trip successful and fun! The river and scenery were beautiful. We had a great time! Our boys really enjoyed being able to help paddle, playing in the water, and even taking a quick nap in the raft. 😄 We will definitely use PRPC again when we are back in the area in the future; highly recommend!

2nd year in a row going with Pine river paddlesports.. if you want to rent a yak or canoe and head out on a multi day adventure, look no further my friends. We'll be seeing you next year on vacation! Thanks for being a great outfitter guys... I recommend briar patch to low bridge run for the full experience (on the pine river) they also have Manistee river adventures but last year we didn't make the full pine river run so we came back to finish what we started 😁

Awesome river!! 15 miles of winding twists and turns, some mild rapids, a touch of rough patches along the way, beautiful scenery! It was an absolutely awesome trip! I'm definitely coming back for another Pine River trip! Reminder: strap your stuff in and wear your shoes, unless you want to lose them should you tip! 😂 👟 👟

I camped here with Jake and Alaney in an amazing cabin in the woods over Memorial Day weekend. They are incredibly hospitable and helped me plan a 5 hour tour down the Pine River. They explain how to canoe and what to expect. The coordinated a crew to drop us off and pick us up.Their campsites are clean and have lots of wooded space between each site. They have nice fire pits with cooking a cooking surface. The restrooms are clean and everything is tidy. This couple leaves no detail unresolved in making booking easy and working to make your vacation on the Pine River wonderful. This is my second trip and I'll be heading back for another camping and river experience soon!

I’ve been going to Pine River paddlesport for several years now. I just love kayaking the Pine and am convinced that it is the most beautiful river in lower Michigan. I’ve been on most of them. The campground and all the staff are superb. I only wish I could bring my dog ( a quiet one ) with me.

Ten of us took a winter rafting trip in late January 2024. It was beautiful with the freshly fallen snow. From start to finish, the trip was wonderful and Jacob was a great guide. Highly recommended.

Our family of 6 just did the Pine River this last weekend and had an amazing time! We are normally kayak and canoers but this time we decided to try rafts and glad we did it was so much fun plus the river was quite fast and active so we didn’t have to worry about tipping and losing everyone throughout the trip. This place had great service and were friendly and informative with all our needs and accommodations.The scenery was beautiful and peaceful the whole way. The water was a bit cold yet but still clean and wished we could’ve got to get in but maybe in a couple months.We would recommend Pine River Paddle Sports to anyone.

One of the nicest campgrounds I’ve been to. Employees were super friendly and helpful (including the cute dogs in the office). The campground itself is clean and peaceful and other campers were so friendly as well. As soon as I left the campground I turned around and booked a cabin for Fourth of July for my family, can’t wait to go back and enjoy the holiday there!

These guys were great. We had a reservation and the process went very quick and catered to our level. The river was beautiful (we did Peterson to Low Bridge) and the people all along the way were great. Definitely had an adventure.

The Pine River is a beautiful float and Pine River Paddlesports is the way to go. They have you covered from the paddles to the parking pass. Great staff. Great experience.
