Yesterday I went to pick up my favorite dressing. I also enjoy the variety of meat on display. The cons are the shelves were sparce with products. The store looks like it could use a good cleaning.

Was recommended to go here by a random conversation with a friendly local at the gas station. Great place to stock up on fresh foods while camping at Presque Isle ;) Would be nice to see a couple higher grade steaks as I am partial to a well marbled ribeye but what they had was perfectly acceptable for a small north woods grocery store.

This is the best place around for a great selection of meats. The butchers are always keeping the display case well stocked. If you can't find what you want, just ask them. The prices are so reasonable so I tend to get different cuts of meat to try. The store has eveything you need.

Overall, an awesome store. The selection was surprisingly excellent. The deli section was particularly impressive; there was a wide variety of meats of great quality. The prices throughout the store were reasonable as well. If you are in the West-Gogebic area looking for groceries, this is the place to go!

Just picked up a 4 pack of mushrooms Swiss 1/3 patties and charcole grilled them. This is one juicy burger one of the best I've had.

Excellent Italian sausage, homemade. Been around for 50+ years. Issue with credit card machine, had to pay with cash. Prices are high but typical of a small grocery store. Friendly service.

Nice market with fresh fruits, vegetables, and a good selection of fresh and frozen meats. IMO best meat market around. Nice staff, too.

First time shopping there, found things easily and the cashier was nice and friendly. My son said they have a great meat department and the best bratwurst!

As a local customer, The staff and excellent choice of product is a 5 out of 5 stars. Wakefield Michigan is noted for winter sports and the 4th of July celebration. Try the excellent fresh meat products. This will show how a small town store is a refreshment to the big town turmoil.

Best place to buy meat. They make the very best "porketta" and "saltisa" and have a great variety of all cuts of beef, pork and chicken. A must stop for me whenever I'm in Wakefield

The staff is so friendly! They offer much more than a minimart, but not as much as a supermarket. Rhutabaga and the biggest tube of hard salami that I ever saw.

Charming small town grocery store. We go there more because of the fresh cut meats from their own in-house butcher. Lots of produce too.

Cashier was rude it has a not so good smell. I cut my finger on meat case asked for bandaid she told me to buy some wouldn't give me one
