Expect a really rough time dealing with prescriptions here. They're constantly out of stock and have to special order. They will wait a few days before even placing the order. Incorrectly read prescriptions and refill amounts. The process is slow, so also expect to wait. In general, has the major signs of a dying Rite Aid. The only reason this is managing to stand is because your only other options nearby for prescriptions are grocery stores.

My Prescriptions weren't instock so the pharmacist said she'd order them, however I called back the next day and the male pharmacist said oh no I ordered them for tomorrow. On a Sunday there was only a pharmacist and no technicians no counter clerks just a pharmacist running around like a crazy person so I'm not surprised my Prescriptions weren't actually ordered. My biggest gripe is I have pneumonia and I don't have my inhaler because you had to order a VERY BASIC ITEM TWICE. Then I went to grab cough drops and 90% of your shelves are empty!!!!! Sick people come to the pharmacy to get their meds, it's kinda a basic principle so how is it we can't get them?

I really appreciated the conveniency of the location and friendly service of the pharmacy. However, I provide a 1 star review because they constantly run out of inventory for prescription medication. Every time I asked about the problem with shortages, they blame the supplier. My wife and I now use Meijer's pharmacy which is about 1 mile away from Rite Aid and we have never had a problem. Hopefully, they will eventually fix the problem because the employees here are doing the best they can with the situation.

The absolute SLOWEST pharmacy customer service. Plan on waiting 20-30 minutes per vehicle in line. Don’t bother making a complaint because I have tried. When I finally spoke with a Rite Aid customer service representative (from the number they attach below other negative reviews….) and stated I had a complaint I was HUNG UP ON. I am done with this pharmacy.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I called and was told my prescription was ready for pick up. However after waiting 20-30 minutes in the drive thru I was told it wouldn’t be ready for two more days. Ridiculous. That TJ guy and half the other staff should be immediately replaced by people willing to work. This is a pharmacy not a McDonald’s.

I have had awful expierence here! Prescriptions are never ready even when you call the day before. They do not do their part to get proper information from doctor when a specific medication is unaccepted by insurance because of more information needed. I have tried to set up automatic refills with call back and have never been able to do so. Often times you call to have prescription filled so you can pick it up next day or so. I waited 3 days to go get it and they tell me oh we don't have it in stock, we have to order it! Really, they couldn't have ordered it when they went to fill it and called me to let me know they had to order it. Took a week to get that prescription filled! They have also tried to make me and others I know pay for medications covered by insurance. They have problems with proper billing. My advice, Don't go to Rite Aid in Swartz Creek! I am going back to Meijer pharmacy . Gave them 1 star because it's the lowest rate can give to do a review... Honestly I would give them a -10!

I spent three hours here today. I had a doctors appointment and my scripts rewritten. I go in, and they tell me the usual “15 minute” wait. I waited 45. Oh, they filled my prescription in 15 minutes, they just left it on the counter another 30.I get my prescriptions - no, /prescription/ - because they’re missing one. My other prescription was not in the bag. I asked where it was and IMMEDIATELY the cashier starts treating me like I’m some sort of addict trying to scam them out of pills. He’s talking to me like I’m five. He’s saying “no, there are no more pills, there aren’t any refills left” at which point I explained to him that I had a new prescription written. He had already decided that I was lying to get drugs and that he wasn’t going to listen to me anymore.I go out to my car and call my doctor and find out one of my scripts had been sent to the wrong pharmacy, and that it’ll be taken care of in 30 minutes. Sure enough, 30 minutes later I get a call from the doctor saying the script is waiting for me. I go get lunch and wait an hour, since the pharmacy doesn’t pay mind to doing things in a timely fashion, apparently. I go back in and explain what happened to the pharmacist who AGAIN denied that there were meds. I eventually get him to check the computer —after him literally rolling his eyes and scoffing at me — and sure enough the order is there waiting. So I wait another “15” minutes (this time it was actually about 50 minutes) for them to fill my script. During this time they pause work for a good five minutes to have a full blown argument about not having enough bags and baskets, just to add to the professionalism.The one working pharmacist comes around the desk and pretty much yells to the waiting area my name and “you’re getting your ____ filled, right?” So much for confidentiality, because this guy has just yelled my name and the meds I’m on for the whole damn store to hear.The original pharmacist won’t ring me out at this point. A different girl comes up, tosses my scripts on the counter, and doesn’t even stick around for the receipt to print before walking off.I’ve never seen such an unprofessional disaster.

Drive thru takes 15-20 minutes per vehicle. Expect a long wait.Sorry for leaving a bad review but I think you could do much better. You have twodrive thru lanes and are only using one. Maybe make a fast lane for picking up medicine.

NOBODY ANSWER MY CALLS! How is rude? I know there’s not a lot busy because I grew up in Swartz Creek and I watched all places in here. I tried to reach you guys for discuss with cvid test results, but nobody of your pharmacist answer. Please don’t tell me that you are too busy, I know it’s not lot people. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME on here.

The pharmacist there Is one of the rudest people I've ever had The misfortune of having to deal with. They had my prescriptions all messed up and I was trying to figure out why and what happened and he just hangs up on me. Definitely changing pharmacies!!

Had a script called in at 9am went to pick it up at 9:30, was told they were working on it it'll be about 30 mins. Didn't have time to wait so I came back at 11:30 and was told they were working on it it'll be about 30 mins. Didn't have time to wait and can't borrow the car again so no medication for me today. Thanks rite aid. service has been stellar ever since. probably just a fluke.

I have shopped at the store for the last 25 years and most of the same people still work here off and on I've known all the people I never had a problem even in Pharmacy lately you're having to wait a little bit and things are in disarray I don't know why I'm in the pharmacy that is but it's always been great customer service always very friendly did you ever think maybe it's you

Drive through is absolutely the worst showed up 15 minutes early like instructed for my covid test and ended up sitting in line for an extra 30 minutes just for the test. Seriously understaffed
