The smell of chocolate and delicious catches you on the street. Chocolates, fudge, and I've cream are all there. So many flavors or everything!!! Fudge...at least 10 flavors. Ice cream...at least 15. Chocolates...well they line the walls. They even have iced and hot drinks. A perfect stop.

They charged $8.00 for the ice cream in the picture. I asked if I could have a scoop of one flavor and a scoop of another and was answered with a rolled eye and a shake of the head. I asked for coconut and then was given this and begrudgingly asked for $8.00! No thanks ever again.

Service was awesome but flavor selection of ice cream was smaller than other Kilwin locations. Caramel Apples looked incredible and I'll be back before Halloween to purchase some for those special neighbors children.

The ice cream is absolutely delicious. But... there is no list of what flavors they have up on the wall where everyone can see it - just a piece of paper in a frame on the counter. And that lists ALL the flavors they make but they don't haveall of them available. So you crowd around the cold cases trying to see the flavors they do have. And the worst thing about our trip there was the service. We had a large party of 8 people & when it was our turn to order, the employee told a co-worker to help us because large parties were too stressful!! But the co-worker did not help us & the first employee started helping people behind us in line! Again, great ice cream but a bad experience overall.

The gentleman greeted us with a free sample of fudge when we walked in. That was quite a pleasant greeting. Then, I ordered a small cup of ice cream and a waffle cone. It came up to almost $19.00. That was quite a sticker shock! I was going to buy some fudge on the way out but decided I'd already spent enough.

The ice cream was good. It however was not worth $6.99 for 1 scoop that is not even a full scoop. I'm glad I didn't have a bunch of kids with me I would've been super mad!

Long, slow lines. What I ate here wasn't memorable, but it was good. What I do remember is staring at the back of some guy's head for an hour while waiting in line and observing overly-generous staff indulging every single person in line to taste 45 different flavors. To heck with taste testing, what are you - Costco?! I honestly wish I had just gone to Walmart and grabbed a gallon of ice cream there instead of wasting an hour of my life here on two forgettable scoops. I could have eaten that gallon of ice cream while waiting in this line, for half the price. My experience would have been 100% better if Kilwin's would focus more on selling their ice cream rather than giving it away. Sell pre-scooped single scoops of ice cream to customers who want to try different flavors, make them step aside to taste it, send them to the back of the line and sell them quarts of ice cream to go. Have two cashiers, one just selling pre-packaged products. You'll sell more ice cream and your dumb line will cease to exist. Less flavor choices will give your customers confidence that you're managing and rotating your inventory, and that your product is fresh. Recycle those stupid tiny spoons and stop ordering them, forever!! Show some urgency and get that gosh dang line moving! Post your flavors on the sidewalk on a chalkboard and on two whiteboards in the store. 10/10 will not be back. Good luck.

I’ve seen several reviews complaining about not knowing the price or that they aren’t displayed which simply is not true. People tend to get distracted by the delicious ice cream so they don’t look up! The prices are always displayed on the top of the ice cream case! I hope this is helpful to everyone else! :)

Ice cream is creamy and tastes amazing, but owners like to nickel and dime you. We simply wanted ice cream in a cup with a cone on the side, which isn’t much different than asking for ice cream in a cone with a cup on the side- either way they shouldn’t have charged an extra .50 for the cone. 🙄 It’s the principle of it - we’re already spending $6.50 on a single scoop of ice cream. I’m pretty sure they’re making plenty of money in downtown South Haven!

We went for ice cream. Got a large number of options to choose, and no masks required. No samples were given, but we all found ice cream we liked. We tried one fudge but was not impressed, peanut butter we thought would be better than it was.Otherwise, the porch was nice to rest and eat at for a short while. Getting to see the main street traffic and people was nice while enjoying our frozen treat. A lot of foot traffic was there for a friday midday, but it is summer. Was pleased to see the shop had options that were healthier choices for ice cream.

Good ice cream, but very poor service. We went as a family and when asking for food allergy information, a dish for a melting cone and an extra spoon we were met with eye rolls, blank stares and no thanks for the business we gave them. Also there were additional charges added for these things. We will not be returning for the poor service that was given.

The service here was good and efficient. They have some great chocolates with several unique varieties. The ice cream was tasty with a good variety of flavors. The praline pecan was excellent. Why only two stars you ask? The ice cream pricing was rediculously high. At most ice cream locations, I enjoy a two scoop cup with my usual pistachio and one other that looks flavorful, but at $5 a scoop, I felt like walking back out the door. Feel sorry for those buying for multiple children. Don't think I'll stop here again.

Ice cream and fudge was delicious, don’t know why people are surprised that an ice cream cone is 7 dollars when your in a touristy town near the beach, of course they’re going to up charge a little bit just like every other store around! Great service:)

The server was very nice and entertaining. But the ice cream wasn't good. We ordered the key lime flavor and honestly it had no taste except sweet. A $5.50 purchase for a single scoop in a cup wasn't nearly as good as your average Dairy Queen. Disappointing.

Seriously! The prices are ridiculous! 10 dollars for two scoops of ice cream and 7 dollars for one scoop!!!! It was average quality ice cream to add to that! Poor customer service!

We had two scoop hot fudge sundaes there on Sunday. The ice cream was delicious, but the fudge was drizzled on the whip cream in a very small ribbon. The price for the two sundaes was $18. We won't be back!

Genesis charged me for a “12oz coffee” ($3.17) for literally a sample, it was a mini cup! I realized it until later. Also, she is rude and her face says how unhappy/tired she feels in that place. I just don’t recommend that ice cream shop in South Heaven Michigan. Tourists don’t waste your time and money.

The most magical ice cream you will ever have…a South Haven classic. I’m lactose intolerant and I broke my usual dairy fast for their s’mores ice cream and it did not disappoint. Sea salt caramel fudge was delicious, too!

The ice cream was great, but expensive. Some of the employees didn't wear their masks correctly and touched their nose before they scooped icecream. Kinda gross, so we made sure to get the other more hygienic employee to scoop our ice cream.TL;DR some employees were unhygienic, the ice cream was a tad expensive, but tasted awesome!

Pricey but good ice cream. It was fun to watch them make waffle cones and fudge while waiting in line. I was a hot spot for all to stop and you can tell why. The ice cream tasted fresh and service was quick! Highly reccomend for any hot day!
