Five stars is not enough for Jack’s!!! We stopped in for lunch and left with enough for dinner too! We had the roast beef, it was delicious. So was the stuffing and the homemade rolls, served with real butter. The service was wonderful, we were made to feel like family. We highly recommend!

Jack's is amazing! Almost everything is homemade. The Reuben is the best I have had in my life. The perch sandwich is great as well! In our last 2 weeks in town, we are at Jack's 6 times. Add it to your list!

We had been here several years ago on our way back from Minnesota. It was one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had at a diner that we had no info about. We’ve talked about it several times.This weekend we were up that way and decided to drive the extra 45 min to have dinner there. Unfortunately it was not on the same level as our past experience. Both of our coffees were so full of grounds they were all around the rim and it was like swallowing dirt. It was disappointing cause it was not hard to see grounds all over to rim of the cup and should not have been served. We both tried something different than last time and it was ok, which is fine but it def wasn’t amazing as our first visit. We did get a chance to get in the little shop behind the restaurant tho and that was a highlight.

FANTASTIC Food and Great Service! I would highly recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a good meal, and a nice comfortable environment.Our waitress was Jesse and she was fantastic, very helpful in assisting us in choosing from the menu. Our food was amazing, and our experience was very pleasant.This was our first visit and we WILL be back. Forgot to mention, their bread is homemade and is to die for!

Best food north of the bridge, you will leave wanting more! Soo clean, friendly staff and super fast service. Jade was the best, she took great care of us and recommended the sweet potato fries you’ll never forget; fried and coated with cinnamon and sugar, absolute game changer! The Philly wrap and cowboy burger were among the best sandwiches my wife and I have ever had, Jacks is a MUST if you frequent the UP!

Great breakfast and amazing service from Christina. The owner Bobbi has done an amazing job with breakfast and lunch and now integrating the Smoked Meats as another option. All the meat is freshly smoked right on site. Food is fresh and cooked to your liking. Keep up the good work. Lots of restaurants closed in the area because they can’t find help. Bobbi deserves lots of credit for doing a great job!

The food is amazing! I feel like if you go to chain restaurants you don't get much food anymore. We stopped here on our way to Houghton. The staff is amazing. My son likes to talk and they listen to him. Would recommend them.

Great staff and the food was very good. Get one of their 4 pound sweet rolls (yummy), it’s probably not 4 pounds but there giant.Parking: The restaurant is very near the highway on the front so there is only parking on the side. There is plenty of parking just down the street.

Ate here once while ice fishing and was impressed. Fair pricing, large serving sizes and the food tasted great. Wait staff was very friendly.

We've eaten at several restaurants in the area in the last week. There's been a lot of bar-type food and it's been pretty good. Jack's is much more like eating at home with roast pork, turkey and beef, as well as several other homey dinner selections. Several pies are on the desert menu. I had the almost overwhelming slice of coconut cream! The food was very good, service was excellent and the atmosphere is simple and comfortable. We'll happily eat there again.

Enjoyed Jack's and glad to have stopped on our drive.... our normal stops closed at 2pm. He had the patty melt and she had the chicken tender patty melt and shared a side of home made chips... A filling meal (a bit heavy for us) Do stop in if you are hungry and consider sharing a meal..

Have been there twice first bad experience shame on you, second bad experience shame on me will not be going back again. Had a family member who wanted to go there or else I would never have stopped the second time. He had to send his sausage and biscuits back because it was cold they brought it back hot he took three bites said it was the worst garbage he ever had and did not eat it. Waitresses was great and did her job well. Did leave a 30 percent tip as bad cullary skills is not he fault. I'm sure their are food items they do well, just not willing to spend more money to find out which ones. Will not be back.

Almost drove by without stopping. Glad we did. Excellent breakfast good, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Had the cinnamon swirl French Toast, definitely a keeper!
