Dr. King and his staff were wonderful to work with. I brought my cats in for upper respiratory infections. As is typical the cats were due for their regular vaccinations so I had to get them as well but surprisingly the cost wasn't too bad and if I hadn't they wouldn't have made me feel like a really bad pet owner. Also, I was able to get the cats an appointment quickly, I think it only took 3 days from the time I called which shows compassion for the animals as well as the owner. Other places you have to wait sometimes 3 weeks or more to get in, even if you know the animal isn't feeling well.

I found that Larry King does care more about the pets then the prices which is amazing, he has always treated my dogs well. My only concern lately is his vet tech, I took my pups in for their shots and she was rude and judgey during the conversation I was having with another staff there on concerns of the litter of puppies my dog just had. I've been going to Larry King since my last vet passed away and I have never felt so uncomfortable going there until that moment.

Dr. King is extremely friendly and nice and so gentle with my dogs and his daughter is also great, its a family run business. Whenever someone asks about a vet I always suggest Dr. King first n foremost. Hes a great Veterinarian.

Awesome! The employees are so attentive to my pets and are very caring & work well together. I have worked with a lot of DVMs (over the years) and appreciate the excellent communication and skilled treatments of all my canine family members. And Dr. King does good work too

They neutered my dog and glued it instead of stitching him ( knowing he wouldn’t even hold still to be weighed and would most likely rip it ) and when he ripped it open from rubbing on the floor. They told us to just keep it clean with peroxide. when we went back for his booster shot they were very rude and all they did was glue him back up and clean him a little. Told me give him antibiotics and walked out they didn’t explain how to give them to him. Or if the other shot they gave him was antibiotics and to wait tell later to give him another. I 100% wouldn’t go back or tell others to go

I know how hard it is to find a trusting and decent Vet clinic in the Dickinson area. I have a few horror stories from others (Iron mountain Animal clinic actually did surgery on the WRONG Broken toe!) but Dr.Larry and his staff is compassionate, affordable and amazing at their jobs. They’ve taken care of my parents dogs for years, and now ours. We recently had to put our family dog down and as difficult and heartbreaking as the experience is, they’re very compassionate and kind, and they’re gentle with your pets. The entire process was more affordable than anywhere else as well. Thank you.

My female pitbull needed shots. The women who checked her out were at ease with her and she didn't even notice when she got poked. They inquired about and checked her ears which have had problems on the past. Very thorough and compassionate with a high strung dog. Great visit!

I'm new to the U.P. and had my dogs vaccinated and check up before moving up here. I had all my puppies information since he was born and let me tell you, the service at Dr. Kings was very professional and explained everything to me. They did not do anything that wasn't necessary. I thought my dog had broken his back. After a complete exam Dr. King gave me great news that he just sprang it. He gave him a shot and medicine until he starts to feel better. Outstanding service!!! This is after I had called 3 other vets around my area and they turned me away! Way to go Dr. King and your staff!

The man was rude. His daughter was very nice offered to pay for my brothers cat appointment. The man was faking my brothers cat diagnosis. He told my brother all the negative and no positive things that can help his cat out and told him basically that heads up it will be a bad call. He didn’t do any of the stuff correctly. Wouldn’t recommend.

Dr. Larry and his staff are amazing at their jobs, kind, and compassionate. My parents have gone to him for years, and now we do. You hear horror stories about the other vets around here, but never about Dr.Larry’s clinic.

I would recommend that everyone should NOT EVER go to Larry King. Yes, he does have cheap prices, but the quality of care you get from him is cheap as well. He didn’t look too deep into my beloved Gorgeous’s issues, and he misdiagnosed her. He gave her medicine that most likely sped up her death. And by the time we discovered what was wrong, it was too late. His daughter who works at the front desk is absolutely amazing, but Larry King should not be a vet. He isn’t worth the cheap prices.

My dog has been acting strange the past couple days. Hides behind the couch or under the bed. Has not been coming out to eat or drink. When I got him out from under the bed he was just shaking. His oral mucosa is dry. Called to have him seen and said he couldn't be seen til Monday. 4days from now. He could die by then. I am very upset with this place. Will find a new vet.

The price is a bit high for neutering and spaying but, far better than driving out of state for pet services. It might be more adventageous to charge less and draw in more folks who can't afford 200 dollars for spaying. The service is great though. Price is my only complaint

Excellent and affordable. Handles common pets , does not handle exotic pets. Staff is friendly and organized. Visits are fast and to the point. Did a great job even dealing with my semi feral kitty.

HORRIBLE VET. We took my kitten there after he broke his leg and he said the only thing he can do is put him down and didn’t even try fixing his leg or doing surgery. He has a fracture in his bone and he didn’t do anything to help so my mom had to put a cast on him herself. Horrible vet, please do not go here for help. He might be okay for minor things but not big things like this. It’s a waste of time and money.
