What sets Home Depot apart from other home improvement stores is the helpful employees. Doors and Windows Specialist Craig was very helpful and friendly when we stopped in today, which prompted me to finally leave a review. Deborah was super nice and efficient at checkout as well.

Went there to get a new drill battery, but we're doing home projects so we wanted to browse around. We were followed by multiple people, which I get it, they're doing their job. When we asked for the drill battery (it was locked) the guy treated it as though it was an inconvenience. The guy walked the battery up to the counter for us, and when we were cashing out, we were circled the entire time by the men that had followed us through the store. Along with one following us out of the store. It was just an extremely uncomfortable situation, and I think that we'll be spending our money elsewhere.

Usually appreciate our local Home Depot but the last visit was inappropriate. The women welcome greet on 3/10/24 at about 530 pm felt the need to tell us how to handle our son as he was visiting the store. He was slightly upset and she felt the need to give us her input. It is not her place to give any input on our child being upset. Specially considering he is 1 years old. Unless we come to you with a question. Mind your business.!

Good place for finding construction materials, plumbing, electrical, and gardening items. Fair prices. I go there because of the friendly employees who are eager to help you. I don't see that in other hardware stores anymore. Most employees seem to know where the items you need are.

This home depot Garden area is so disrespectful they don't even have enough respect to even move their flower racks more out the way so that it won't be difficult for a commercial driver to drop a trailer I literally have came here 2 times and have to push racks more out the so that it wouldn't be a struggle for me to do my job Home Depot have some more respect please it's not my responsibility to move flower racks

We love coming for the kid's craft workshops! My husband always seems to find what he needs when he comes to Home Depot as well- we recently got materials to redo our mailbox, and we found all of our materials with ease!

One of the best stores around for your needs. Very helpful staff-I was in the store after the ice storm recently and they had multiple generators ready to go with gas cans, near the door on carts. Ready for anyone who came in needing one. They didn't have to go searching for them.... your staff rocks!

Was informed my play set would be delivered today and waited around for 6 hrs called the store around noon after waiting 4 hrs for my delivery stated drivers would be there today 2.5 hrs later get a call from the store stating my delivery won’t be delivered until next weekend without a given time frame. This is absolutely unacceptable

There is an employee named Jenny, who might be the most helpful individual I have ever come across. This wonderful associate helped me through the whole store. I had my very own personal shopper, and she knew where everything was! Even though you didn't have the drywall stomper I was looking for, you had everything else! Thank you Jenny!

I have loved Home Depot for a long time. I shop a lot. I did stop going here for a while when they said friendly dogs are no longer allowed in. But, I noticed they are allowed in once again so we are shopping here again!! I buy more stuff and walk the store more when I can bring my dog in. Thanks HD!!

I have been shopping at this store for years and never had a problem until today earlier in the day I went to Home Depot to buy a Christmas ornament for outside from the garden Center it was almost dark so I checked the entrance gate to the Garden Center and it looked closed until I walked up to it and noticed there was not a lock on it because instead of entering from the Inside I thought i could just go on to the gate because I knew where the item was from earlier in the day well come to my surprise the gate was just shut and not locked so I opened it and entered in but when I looked at the little customer shack there was a employee just sitting inside staying warm he did not greet me i had to say hello first which is wrong the employees should greet you any way he was very rude like I had bothered him or something I think he was avoiding customers that walked through the gate so he was basically killing time and staying warm there were no customers in the outside garden Center so I proceeded to walk over and grab the Item I was going to purchase then I walked toward the shack where Employee was staying once i approached him i said i am all set I began to ask if I could have the plant hanger that the Item was hanging on that's when I asked can i have the hanger to take home to hang it with because i had mentioned to him earlier in that day that the other employee said that I could have it well this employee said no those are from here so I said well can I speak to the Manager to ask he or she if I could have it I said could you call the manager i would like to speak to he or she he said just go to the customer service desk then I thought you have a phone right there to call so I proceeded to the customer service desk which was located inside then someone contacted manager well that person was also rude finally the manager approached me and I explained the situation to him then we walked back outside and I showed him what I was trying to explain to him the situation then he replied oh know those have to stay here those are for flowers for summer i said but earlier the other employee stated that I could take the one it was hanging from so I was directed to a hangar that I could purchase so that it would be able to hang it from that so i bought it but I have spent tons of Money in this store for them not to just give me the hangar that it was on the hangar probably only cost 50 cents to produce so I proceeded to check out i think its a shame that they could just let me have the hangar the lat words the manager said the first one that I was given he said oh by the way i wont charge you for the first one you can keep it I was like REALLY unbelievable I will shop at LOWES from now on Thanks Home Depot for your lousy service !!!!!

Did a kitchen remodel with #HomeDepot horrible experience. Folks in the design area had no clue on what they were doing. Their cabinet maker #AmericanWoodMark is the worst. Cheaply made, low quality and extended wait times. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Go anywhere else but Home Depot

Great place to find all sorts of stuff for the home. From lumber to towels and curtains to plants and paint. They do need more people working, I almost walked out because I could not find what I needed and walked many isles trying to find help.

I went into home Depot this evening to purchase paint and as soon as I walked into the paint department someone walked up to me asked if I needed help. I told them the paint color I needed and the brand and they were so helpful in getting it for me asking me if there was anything else I needed answered all of my questions. Anyways, they were awesome. My only disappointment is I'm not sure of what their name was. I believe it was Kiera. Great employee Home Depot Portage

I ordered something last week on 5/22/2023 and had it shipped to the store for 5/24/2023 pickup. The order process was good no issues, the delivery was great and the pickup process was excellent, didn't have to go into the store was given a code to open it up in a locked secure locker. I would do this again and encourage people to use this method of pickup and to shop at home depot.

I've always received friendly service. Generally, they have what I need and can help me find exactly where it is within the store. I also recently left my credit card there, and they held onto it for 5 days before I realized I might have left it there and went in to check. It was given back to me with a big smile and I felt very relieved. Great location.

Waited over an hour for them to pull my pick up order. While I waited I had 4 different people ask me if they can help me find anything, (while i was sitting in a chair in the patio furniture section scrolling on my phone) my response to all of them was "go in the back and get my pick up order that im still waiting for" all of them said they cant help me with that. Will not be back to this store. The Three Rivers store is WAY better!

We ordered windows for our newly purchased home and home depot was recommended to us by our realtor for windows. It was a nightmare from the beginning of which we are still dealing with. We ordered 2 windows nothing special. It took 2 months. When they came out, they only had 1 window. Another 2 months go by and no window. It took 6 months to get the window. We were promised a discount which we have yet received. No one can give you a straight answer and they just run you in circles. Use anyone but home depot. Cheaper price is not worth the aggravation!!!

This is a pretty good builders center. Some of the staff depend too much on their phones to assist people. You have to be careful about choosing your wood because there are many bad pieces usually.

I wanted to give a shout out to Craig. He helps me find all the parts I needed to fix the shampoo bowl at the salon I own. I had been to multiple other hardware stores and struck out and he was very helpful and very friendly. I appreciate him and the good customer service. That is hard to come by lately.
