Respectfully I understand the industry is struggling. Why would you call my mother and tell her that her script is ready. She sends me all the way there to find out it has not in fact been started. I do my grocery shopping and come back. Still not started. I take my groceries home and come back. Of course this is my 3rd time standing in a line of 30 customers..... big fail Meijer Pharmacy. My time and day matters too.

Over the last year i have gotten several phone calls saying my prescriptions are ready but when i arrive to pick them up they dont have the medicine. I have been shorted on meds on several occasions and when i say something its always my fault and im taking them wrong. Today at 930 am i get a automated call that they have a question about my medicine, that call was supposed to go to my doctor. At 932 am i get a automated call that my prescriptions are ready to pick up. At 530pm i arrive to get them and get told they dont have it and it wont be in untill 2pm tomorrow. A hour drive round trip and 30 minutes in line to find out my heart meds are not there. I will never use this pharmacy again.

This pharmacy is the worst ever. I have given them multiple chances over the years since it's so close to home. I won't be making that mistake again. The pharmacy manager treats you like you're stupid and some how your wait time gets longer when you check. It doesn't matter if you're in the store waiting or in severe pain. I transferred my scripts to a pharmacy that actually cares about their patients.

This pharmacy outright lied to me about my child's medication availability.Due to the nationwide shortage of ADD meds, the Westnedge store was pharmacy #15 I had called just this morning (I've been trying pharmacies all week) about availability, so my doctor would not waste time and send in an unfillable script.I told them the type and dosage, the woman on the phone put me on hold to check, and came back saying that yes, that they definitely had enough to fill my prescription, even going so far as reassuring me that as long as I could get the doc to send it in today there were definitely no worries about someone else depleting the stock before mine could be filled. Awesome, finally a victory! And double victory- it was the generic!Except, after calling my doctor and then waiting the entire day to get a text from Meijer about fulfillment, I finally called back and the man on the phone told me that "he didn't know who I spoke to, because they haven't had that medication/dosage available in MONTHS".

My wife called to refill her prescription at 9:30 this morning and was told "It will be ready in 20 minutes." She indicated we wouldn't be in until later in the day and was told, "No problem, we'll have it ready for you."I came in after work and stood in an absurdly long line that stretched well past the bathrooms. When I finally got my turn at 6:05, I was told the prescription had "a 40 minute wait on that." Mind you, this was 8.5 hours AFTER my wife had been told it would be "ready in 20 minutes." So I've had to waste an additional 40 minutes of my evening and am now standing back in that absurdly long line ALL OVER AGAIN.

Very disappointed with Meijers pharmacy today. Made an appointment for a flu and COVID vaccine on Tuesday for Sunday. While I’m standing in the store 5 minutes before my appointment I get a text saying they are all out of the vaccine for COVID. To me this is extremely poor scheduling, why make appointments!

I’ve had so many issues with this pharmacy. Always wait at least 20 mins in line on any given day.Called my script in yesterday and was told it would be ready in 45 mins. I then came in today (24 hrs later) to pick it up and no one filled it like they were suppose to. The lady told me she didn’t work yesterday and it wasn’t her fault and I could come back in a hour to pick it up and they wouldn’t fill it now for me. Terrible customer service and service in general. Note* this isn’t the first time this has happened to me.

I came in at 3:30 to get my prescription filled and they said "come back in 30 minutes" and so I did and then they said "comeback at 4:30" so I finally come back at 4:37, and they said "oh yeah tee hee we don't have it".....mind you I had to be to work at 4:30 anyway, and not only was I super late to work because of them not taking the regular 30 minutes but I also didn't have my medication at all on top of it. I have never witnessed nor experienced anything so insulting in my life and they absolutely did not apologize to me one time nor were they capable or humble enough to even attempt to make it right in any way.

I received both my COVID booster and flu shot yesterday and had a very positive experience. The process was very smooth, fast, and went as well as it possibly could have gone. The person who administered my vaccines were incredibly friendly and gentle. No one likes being poked with needles, but if I need another vaccine I'll definitely be happy to come back here. Would recommend!

Your pharmacy is uncaring - We were told there was not any resolution to a prescription that was lost in transfer from one pharmacy to another and it was our fault for trying to transfer a prescription on the weekend. This is after we followed the instructions exactly that were provided to us over the phone to do so that was initiated BEFORE the weekend. Saying it's the weekend and not our problem does a lot to instill confidence in your level of patient care.Not only is it pathetic customer care but also completely unhelpful and unempthatic. Buyer beware, they will not help you and will turn you away, literally saying it's not their fault or problem.

I've been using this pharmacy since around 2012 and rarely have any issues with my prescription. They can get really busy though. And there was recently an issue with timing. I put in my refill order and was told it would be about 15-20 minutes. So I did my shopping (which was a LOT) and went back to get my prescription but it wasn't ready. A few times they didn't have enough pills (but I was taking 4 pills a day of one prescription alone) and I've had to come back for the remainder, but overall my experience is usually good. I think now that they're open 24 hours the wait time might ease up a bit.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had! I ordered my prescription the day before for my rescue migraine medicine. They said they would be unable to fill it before 11am the next day, despite advanced notice. I called that same morning before picking up my prescription to ask if there was any way to expedite the process as I had gotten a migraine. They refused. I called back and they finally said it could be ready at 10am. When I came to pick up my prescription, they informed me then that they could not fill it even though there were two active refills left because my doctor had recently passed away during the covid 19 pandemic. Despite the prescription being totally valid and a non narcotic rescue medication, they still refused to refill my prescription and told me I would need to see a doctor for a new script. I was able to call another doctor, but then had to wait in the parking lot for almost 3 hours while the meijer pharmacy twiddled their thumbs. When they did finally fill my prescription, they only put one pill in the bottle! I then had to call the pharmacy again, which did not admit its mistake, and they refused to provide me with the full prescription until the doctor called back again. When I called the doctor they were just as shocked about the pharmacy’s idiocracy and lack of compassion as I was and order them to fill the other 17 pills they had already ordered. By the time I finally got my full prescription I had been in the Meijer parking lot for over 3 hours, I had to call in to work, and I was unable to drive myself home due to the increased stress and time delay worsening the severity of my migraine. Absolutely atrocious service. Would not recommend. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

ALWAYS a problem.Examples I have had:-Notification that my prescription is ready...I get there and it's not ready and I have to wait 20min.-I fill it in one location on the app, but it is sent to another location and they make me call to fix THEIR mistake.-Notification that my prescription is ready, I get there and they say "oh we had issues getting info from your doctor so we can't fill it yet until we get that" (thanks for letting me know...).The only good thing I can say is that they are most of the time very nice, but their whole process/system needs some major help.

I have been waiting a month now, going around and around with them, for my anti seizure medication. Thankfully I still have some of my old prescription or I would be completely screwed. My doctor's office has called them and worked with them, done everything they can. They will tell the office that all is good and then I go in and then they tell me that they either don't have my prescription ready or they are going to charge me full price even with my insurance and an Rx card. They keep having different excuses and zero help. I will be moving ALL of my prescriptions to another pharmacy first thing Monday morning and erge others to do the same. If I could give them zero stars I would, they are completely incompetent. Today when I mentioned that they told my doctor everything was good and last time I called they said they would fill it and it wouldn't cost me anything the guy behind the counter said "They must have spoken to the call center" Seriously? That's a pretty terrible EXCUSE for not doing your job!

Sat in my truck for 45 Minutes to pick up my prescription. I called them on the phone and asked if somebody would come out to the window to assist me and they said they were working on a Problem. I finally got fed up waiting so I came inside and there 6 more people in line waiting inside. When I was finally able to get to the counter they told me it wouldn’t be till the next day. Not 30min-1 Hour. It would be Tommarow when I could pick up. I end up being late to work and still unable to pick my prescription till the next day. I was there over an Hour and was never given a reason why. Absolutely awful dealing with them.

They are the most inefficient and disorganized group I have ever seen. There is always an issue. Today was the last straw. I came to pick up 3 meds for my wife and just when they were scanning them through, I noticed the name on one of them was for someone else. That’s a very dangerous mistake. I figured the third med was just misplaced but they ended up not having this filled at all. How does this happen? The pharmacist proceeded to ask me if I picked up a different one 9 days earlier which had nothing to do with this prescription that I am trying to pick up. I’m livid now. It is always something here. I’ve had them tell me a prescription was already picked up and when I tell them to look again, they always realize they are incorrect. This happens often. I’ve had them ask me if they if my wife had picked up a prescription months earlier. Seriously? This puts up red flags that the staff doesn’t have a clue about their inventory and begs to question the security around controlled substances. The cause is definitely not from moving to fast to service customers because of you ever been in that line, you know it’s a 15-20 minute wait.

I had a pretty rough review of this place a while back that held true for so long. But I am glad to say they have gotten a lot better because of a change in staff. They all make it happen, but the pharmacy techs like Ben and a few others make it flow a lot better, and a lot more friendly. Because of that they have brought me back more and more. I happily come here for service more often again, which in turn brings me into the store...as intended by the corporation I am sure.

Don't do it!I gave them multiple chances.1-on more than one occasion would call to say my prescription was ready, but when I arrived it was not ready and I was asked to wait.2-changed my generic medicine to a generic without referencing my allergies (I ended up in the hospital and have been googling ingeedients or calling the manufacturer for everything that they give me.)3-got multiple prescriptions filled after a surgery. Went to take a new medicine they had prescribed but then paused and asked the person caring for me to call the manufacturer because it was new and I was on such heavy pain killers I could not....THANK GOD I was concious enough to remember calling the manufacturer. This prescription would have KILLED ME. I would have had such a bad allergic reaction to the generic brand that I would most likely not have made it the 20 minute drive to the hospital. (All this after they supposedly fixed my chart allergies and swore they checked everything prescribed.)This place is full of idiots. They are understaffed and the pharmacist is clearly unable to follow through with his job.After all this, and checking the job requirements/reading about their "training" I will no longer use any Meijer Pharmacy. Please do not use them to fill prescriptions.

have never gotten my script in under 6 hours this place is terrible people here do not do their jobs and when you bust them they get very salty and act like it's your problem found out that no one had checked answering machines or faxes all day and it was 3pm my script was called in at 9am it was not ready until 5pm they told me twice it would be ready in twenty minutes second time took 12 hours most recent time took 21 hours they told me it would be ready in twenty minutes at 4:30pm went back at 6 was still not ready went back at 2am that morning and was still not ready! do not use this pharmacy

I was prescribed 5 different medications at once with little instruction from my doctor, the older pharmacist (I didn’t catch his name) was so sweet and so helpful explaining what I need to do and the most common side effects of each medication.He made sure I understood everything and wished me well before letting me leave. Amazing customer service. That man needs a raise 👏🏼

Jerry is the rudest employee at this meijer I have ever encountered. I watched him roll his eyes at the guy in front of me and proceed to talk bad about him to other employees in the pharmacy area after he walked away. He acted like it was such an inconvenience to help anyone. Glad I got the nice gal to give me my stuff instead of him.

Absolute worst pharmacy I've been to. A bunch of kids who have no clue what they are doing and making excuses for the things they should know how to do. I have BCBS and still walled out PAYING CASH because the workers were too incompetent to call and find out information pertaining to my policy. Instead they asked me to do so because they said it would tale them too long. Then when giving them the information she told me it was incorrect. I gave them the name of my last pharmacy I went to and told them to get ahold of them for my information. She practically called me a liar and said it wasn't where I last got my script (despite me pulling it up on the BCBS site). Never will I EVER come here again. As sad as it makes me I'd honestly rather go to Walmart.

This pharmacy has messed up my orders about 15 times. They give me the wrong numbers of pills, don't ha e things in stock, tell me it's filled when it is not, and make me wait at the counter for over an hour. They don't seem to ever get it right, and they are quick to make excuses.

I have had one mess up so far where they gave me a foot creme instead a liquid for my toenails. Other that, I have gotten my prescriptions much faster than Walgreens, and more accurate than Walmart.

This place is a joke the manager sat in the toy area talking to other workers after I called for help. while I waited 20 mins to get a ps4 game then I just left no help ever came. Went to walmart out in ten with my game. They don't even deserve the one star I had to click to post a review.
