This is the best hardware store on the east side of the Mississippi. The employees are extremely helpful and kind. Your experience is guaranteed to be more personalized here compared to one of the big box stores like Home Depot. 10 out of 10 would recommend bringing any and all projects you may have here over any other store.

They sometimes have super good clearance but still- not an establishment I frequent much. The store itself is very "busy" looking, and sometimes I get a little over stimulated trying to find whatever it is I'm looking for. Lol.

Frustrating when a local store won't honor the lifetime warranty of their warranty, was told by the store manager that my product doesnt have any warranty even though the box shows the lifetime warranty (see pic)

Awesome store, it’s so nice to have a hardware store in downtown Plainwell. Great customer service and always knowledgeable.Also love that I can refill my propane tanks before a camping trip.

This place is the this place is the epitome of a mom and pop family-owned in America. I'm trying to support them as much as possible. They have an excellent selection and specialty nuts bolts and several hard to get fasteners.

Very clean and well organized hardware store. Well lit with friendly, helpful staff. Always fun to see the dog in the store and pet it a little. Great for quick trips and fast shopping for those one off items. Plenty of parking with some spots right up front. They have pretty much whatever you need for any type of home maintenance project. Sometimes a bit more expensive than the big boxes, but way way more convenient.

Great little spot in plainwell to get that hometown hardware feel,was honestly kind of surprised that there was some ingredient at the door. I would love it if they had a little bit better camping section but their mileage may vary

Ace hardware has better brand names and has an unbeatable selection of nuts bolts fastener specialty accessories of all different types of material. They have far better selection than any other retail store when it comes to these things. Furthermore they are family owned franchises owned by small business owners. You get better customer service and more friendly knowledgeable atmosphere it's worth the little extra money to go to this place shop here first always!

They always do such a great job of helping me out. I have never felt unsafe, looked down upon, or taken advantage of when I am in there by myself and the owner himself had often been the one that helps me out. Also live seeing the dog that runs around on occasion! This is a great addition to our community.

This is I believe the best Ace Hardware I've been in because your never just standing there lost or with questions because they're always checking to see if you need help answering questions or telling you where to find things. It's not only great customer service but it's a plus when their cute pup is there to greet you🐾😁 I just love the options and help!

I came to the store for a drive belt for my riding mower. Sam greeted me right as I entered and asked how he could help! I explained my needs and he and Gary hopped right on task and got me what I needed! Awesome customer service!

Needed a couple of items, tire pump and jumper cables. Easy to park, was politely led to the items, checked out. Barely had time to pet Osgood. Got my stuff, went home, pumped up my lawn tractor tire, and I am in business! BTW, the pump worked very fast, unlike some I have used.

Husband has been here several times, my first. I found some minnows I might buy for my turtle. A basic hardware store, totally different than the big box stores. New, clean, bright. Friendly staff. You can find what you need and get back to your project instead of drifting around a huge warehouse trying to get to the checkout line.
