Called them Saturday at about 1:10pm hoping they were still open. I asked if they had a 1 1/2" in-line check valve for a sump pump. Guy ckd...they had them in stock priced at $12.99. I asked what time they closed and he said 1:00....he asked how far away I was, I told him 3 miles and they stayed open 'til I got there. Sometimes it's better shop local...had part big box store was out of and at a better price!!

Always incredibly helpful. I needed a new control knob for my commercial oven. I knew they were obviously not going to have the actual part, but went there anyway to see if they might have something I could make work. I needed it now. I asked Art about it and he custom made me a part out of items he had in the store. These guys are always saving my behind.Always friendly, always helpful. A real asset to our community.

Well.... The place is well stocked with items that you might need. And that's a good thing. The owner is very knowledgeable as well. He just needs to be more personable. And remember that the customer is ALWAYS Right.

This is one of the happiest stores in town. You're always greeted warmly, and these people know their stuff. I love to wander around looking at the merchandise. They have the usual hardware as well as parts for oil lamps and kitchen appliances, small engines and furnaces, garden tools...paint, plumbing. It's unfair to try to list the stock. And if you ask for some weird thing they will walk you right to it. You have a fixit issue someone will help you figure a solution.
