We stopped to get a quick ice cream. It was excellent and very tasty. They have over 40 flavors to choose from at a very reasonable price. they also serve food and are open until 10 pm. They also have a few tables outside. where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream.

I stopped in tonight a half hour before closing time. All staff was getting ready to close so I just ordered a couple scoops in a cone. I tend to get overwhelmed with as many options as they do. The ice cream was great, I love the atmosphere, staff was polite.. and they're even open until 10 pm on a SUNDAY. Anything being open past 8pm these days is almost unheard of so I appreciate the hours!!!

Great little place! I had a chocolate malt that was delicious and was smooth like velvet. The staff was all incredibly sweet and polite and gave us samples on a few ice creams I’d never heard of let alone tried. The prices were fair and the selection was very large. They had I believe six large dip wells with numerous types of all local ice creams. The staff told us about the different areas where the ice creams all sourced from and answered all the questions we had as we were trying to decide what we wanted from the plethora of choices.

Let me say 2 things before telling my awful experience with this place.1 - The owners just changed this year, so these great reviews accumulated were from the great previous owner. The new ownership is very unpleasant.2 - If you really want a nice ice cream with a nice service, then go to Hart Dairy Delight-Ice Cream. Only 10min away from this store.Said that, I am more than happy to share my experience, and looking from the last reviews I’m not the only one who’s having a bad service in this location. I went there with my boss, and I had never been there before. I ordered a sundae, and as my boss suggested to added a waffle cone on the top. The counter guy said yes, he could do it. My boss ordered a non-dairy ice cream and asked to mix it with butterfingers (WHICH HART DAIRY DELIGHT DOES EVERY TIME FOR HER), the owner who was not in the conversation interrupted us and said with an attitude “We cannot do this, the consistent will change.” It will not change because we order the same thing in Hart, and it’s always great. But we get it, some ice cream places are way better than others.Besides that, when my order came, it came with a water cone, not with a waffle cone. So I said nicely, I ordered with a waffle cone. The lady took it back. So the owner, same lady with an attitude came, in a way worst attitude saying that I needed to pay one extra dollar for the waffle cone, which I didn’t pay for. She didn’t give me the ice cream until I went back to the cashier and paid one dollar for the waffle cone. Again she had a very bad attitude and rudeness all the time! I needed to pay extra for something they messed up and made me wait more time just to pay this extra thing again, that THEY MESSED UP. Congratulations Pentwater House of Flavors you earned the worst costumer service for an ice cream store I ever seen. The way you’re treating your clients is awful, being so rude, and having this attitude, just shows that you are a terrible leader for your store. Unfortunately, people think it’s a good place because of the good reviews from the previous owner. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME IN THIS PLACE. The ice cream is not that great!

We vacation in Pentwater every year, having tried all places. This is a fun place! We’ve gone back multiple times for the fun environment and experience. The YUMMY ice cream helps too:) The portions are great and pricing reasonable. We look forward to going back again soon! Love how the owners interact with the young staff. You can tell they genuinely care about each other and enjoy what they do.

Huge variety of flavors for hard serve, many are creative and unique mixes you won't find elsewhere. They also have soft serve and all of those associated typical options.I tried the Milky Way and the Michigan Pot Hole, both were excellent (if you like chocolate!)

Food was great and reasonably priced. Only complaint would be the music from the kitchen was too loud & bass-heavy occasionally, making conversation a little difficult, but only on a few songs that played. Overall it was fine. Next time I visit I'm definitely getting dessert!

Went here for a short birthday weekend trip and the ice cream was great! So many different flavors to choose from, homemade waffle cones right in the open (my son loved watching the staff make them) and when I asked for sprinkles on my son's ice cream cone they used whipped cream and made a little bear face on it with the sprinkles. He was so excited about it! What a great place.

We go to House of Flavors whenever we stay up North with the family. Had never been to the Pentwater location (only Ludington & Manistee). Brought 16 family members tonight, bought dinner & then ice cream for everyone. When I ordered my Sundae & asked for heath toppings, I was told by the server that she couldn’t do it. I asked for clarification & was just told they don’t do it. I asked a third time why and was told that it was because the Heath toppings weren’t close to the Sundae toppings - because they were used for flurries 😳 I told her I’d pay extra for Heath on my Sundae & was told “no.” Ridiculous. I bet we spent $200 there tonight, I’ll lobby for us to take our 16 family members somewhere else next time.

Me and my boyfriend normally stop in when we come up to get some food and ice cream and when we went today it was an uncomfortable experience.I normally dont leave bad reviews but this experience has been sitting on our minds.When we went in we ended up being the only people in there while we were eating because the other people had left. When we got our food the guy who brought it out looked very young, possibly 12-13 years old, and that doesn’t sit right with me.Then some police came in and we didnt mind that but when they came in the workers started yelling and it made us uncomfortable.I saw a guy and a girl with a fake gun, like a bb gun(?) and the lady cop let one of them shoot her back because she knew them. It made me uncomfortable because i was sitting right behind that cop, and if they had by chance missed it would have hit me.Then a girl took it and was pretending like she was going to shoot the male cop because they knew these cops, but the male cop was sitting behind my boyfriend and if she did do it and missed it would have hit him.Like i said i dont leave bad reviews because i understand food service is not an easy job. but this experience was uncomfortable to us.I will say the girl who gave us a take out tray was super sweet to us and did a good job.

Been going here for years, love the icecream! Would be five stars but someone decided it was a good idea to constantly blast music. Makes ordering impossible and eating in very unenjoyable. We ordered larges and were given regulars, no receipts. Probably given the wrong size because they can't hear the orders.

We noticed a hard-working, friendly staff. We loved our ice cream. It was recommended to me to get lunch here though but I'm not sure why. The actual food we got wasn't great and wasn't as inexpensive as it was made out to be. Maybe it was what we ordered but the burger had no taste and the chicken nuggets just looked really cheap. Idk but this will definitely be the official ice cream spot from now on.

My kiddos like to eat at least 2 meals a day here when we stay in Pentwater. Their chili cheese fries are the best I've ever had. Huge order! Chcken tenders served hot and delicious. Great hamburgers. We get ice cream here every night. The staff is wonderful. I found their prices and serving sizes were great. We can't wait to see you guys again in August!

What an unexpected treasure! Best burger I’ve had for a long time… fresh tender beef, not frozen. Chicago style hot dogs on par with Portillo’s. The real deal. All at family friendly prices. You can eat truly delicious food for less than fast food. Will be back for sure.

Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Our icecream was good but not as good as Ludington House of flavors. Maybe they ran out and had to substitute. Still agreed with us better than the frozen lactose free we ate from the competitor in town. Those sundaes were delicious & hot fudge sauce superb,however; we were both up later that nite dashing for the restroom. It's Pentwater House of Flavors for us from now on! 🍦🍨🍧

Two words....ICE CREAM!!! This little gem is not only delicious, but is also run like a finely tuned machine! On one of the busiest nights of the season we entered with 8 people (indecisive people). The staff not only showed us grace and patience, but nailed our order...which I couldn't believe given the complexity of one of our party member's order! We always love visiting, but even more so this year. Love the new owners and love House Of Flavors Pentwater!

Immediately upon walking in you are greeted with the delicious smell of homemade waffle cones and sweet ice cream. Very classy inside with a comfy family atmosphere. Staff was extremely awesome and helpful with a ton of flavors to choose from. This is now a must go to anytime we visit Pentwater.

We had lunch, instead of ice cream. The smoked pulled chicken was amazing. Great flavor and good portion. My wife and friend said the wraps were quite tasty and filling.My other friend didn't say anything but the burger did disappear quite quickly... So take that for what its worth.While there it was a steady stream of customer getting scoop after scoop. Cones and bowls in dozens of flavors and add-ons.

Other ice cream shops cower in fear over the extreme elegance that this dairy delight dares to demonstrate on the daily.5/5, would ice cream again.

Ice cream (5/5): The ice cream was great, try the Eskimo Kisses flavor which is a mix of coconut vanilla ice cream with chocolate + fudge + peanut butter chunks. Prices are also very fair.Service (1/5): On the day I went the servers were all younger teens. One of the teens under her breathe made a remark about my weight. She didn’t think I heard it but it was very clear as one of her coworkers took her to the side and told her not to say that. Instead of making a scene inside I decided to write this review instead. Proper staff training and customer service etiquette would benefit her professional growth as other people may react differently.

Amazing ice cream place, one of the best I've ever been to. Owners are extremely friendly, and it's owned by a husband and wife as a family store. Their ice cream is amazing, not too sweet, just perfect and its all made in the back along with the waffle cones. Came from across Michigan. Anyone who is near the area has to try this. I will come back any time I am nearby. Not too expensive, and its the best ice cream store I've ever been to, with amazing customer service. Must visit!
