The prices are to high these days. $8 shirts, $13 jeans or more in some case. I get I'd be paying so much more in a department store but people are shopping at a volunteers of American for a reason. Everything is donated it doesn't seem like there is any reason things shouldn't be $2 and $4. Yes there are expenses in having the building and employees I know, but the place is even becoming a dump. Everything seems so dirty and nasty.

I had been researching baby walkers for a couple of days and made a definite plan to stop at this specific Volunteers of America as they have always had such a variety of items & the staff is so friendly. I found myself in this busy store at the counter on Tuesday 09/05/23, in line as all customers were being waited on there and I was next in line.The next available associate was a very cheerful young lady named Ava, who I inquired about any available walkers? She was able to find me one and I couldn't be more pleased. Ava is a standout employee who went above and beyond in customer service. She has made my little Great-granddaughter VERY HAPPY!Thanks again Ava!!

Extremely overpriced… 12.99 for American eagle jeans with holes and stains or 12.99 for old wrangler jeans with dirt stains. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your time here, spend your money elsewhere, it will save you money.

Filled a cart! New lamp. New curtains.However, I would not recommend going on Half off Tuesday, usually the last Tuesday of the month. Way too crowded. Go the day before when they are stocking for the sale.

I get a lot of stuff from here but one time I bought a Hamilton Westminester bracket clock for $60. When I got home with it, it didn’t work at all. I was so disappointed because it was a huge waste of money. I ended up scrapping the clock. One time I have a golf club and did everything so it cause it was broken. I could not get it to run oiling did not help it move. It was completely broken. The springs were fine, but does not work still. But I really love this place. I have found broken stuff from here a lot but for not a lot! they should sell non-damaged goods. Would go here if you like going thrift shopping!

Gone down hill within the last year, very very overpriced for complete junk products , stained clothes , torn and stained wedding dresses etc even with tag sales items are still more expensive than necessary

Great store to by anything but if you buy jeans there men's it women's jeans make sure they are NOT STAINED OR ANYTHING ETC THEY OVER CHARGE FOR ANYTHING IN THE store even though they are donated items they over charge for everything in there even though everything given to them to sell in the store IS DONATED ITEMS THEY OVER PRICE FOR MENS AND WOMENS JEANS $12 OR MORE FOR JEANS IS A BIT RIDICULOUS FOR JEANS AND ETC WHEN EVERYTHING IS DONATED THEY HAVE GREAT STUFF BUT THEY OVER PRICE ANYTHING EVEN IF ITS BRAND NEW THEY CHARGE MORE THAN WHAT ITS WORTH THAN THE RETAIL PRICE BRAND NEW and goodwill was the same way I notice a lot that they overprice for certain items the store

I stop at VoA in my town fairly often. They always have an interesting assortment of items in addition to a large clothing section. The pricing can be weird sometimes, which is why I knocked one star off. I usually manage to walk out with some dodad or another anyway. Also, some of the money goes to help veterans, and I like that, too.

Gosh YOUR prices are too high!!! $29 for a pair of jeans? Remember, you got these jeans for FREE! You are to be providing a service not making millions like the other 'thrift' store! I appreciate everything in order and carefully arranged, making it super easy to find what you're looking for, but come on! Lower your prices!

They put an anti-theft tag directly over a large hole in a dress so that I didn't know there was a hole until after I'd bought it, and they don't do returns. Basically, I got scammed by this store

A top 5 thrift store in a 50 mile radius. Incredible selection of items. Most extensive media selection of ANY thrift store I’ve been to. There are consistently treasures to be found. The showcase items can be pricey but there are still deals to be found! Outside of the showcase area, the prices are very reasonable. Hardgoods for the most part $5 or less.

Thank you for such a wonderful store. I always watch for the 50% and 75% off tags on clothes for super deals. I actually love how the clothes in some areas are color coordinated. And you can always find a cute sweater for winter. Keep up the great work.

We have gone here for a long time and the prices keep going up and up. I went in for some mens t shirts and they want 5 dollars or more for t shirts! I could understand brand name stuff but it is walmart brand stuff or people's old camp shirts

You won't be able shop for clothes or shoes at this store. While items are separated by women's, men's and kids, and then further separated by the kind/article of clothing they are, they are NOT separated by size. That makes it unbelievably hard to shop for yourself. And it just makes no sense why things would placed together by color. I've asked - the staff certainly have no clue. But if I have to look at 100 items that won't fit before I find something I like that does fit, then I'm just done shopping. You won't get money from me.It's clean, has a decent selection, but this store needs a serious overhaul to make it worth your time. You'd literally be there searching from open to close for clothes that fit.It's unfortunate. I think it could much more successful if it was laid out right.

Nice selection of everything you could want very clean and staff is friendly. Giving 3 stars because the clothing set up usually stops me from buying anything. Please consider sectioning clothes by size rather than by color. I know it makes your job easier but it makes no sense to have to go through racks and racks of clothes, find something you like just to see it won't even fit you!

If you see a big item you really want, do not trust the staff to keep an item for you until the end of your visit. Told the staff I would for sure be buying an item and asked them to take it off the floor. They said they don't take items off the floor and just keep the tag instead to show the item is taken and they are not allowed to sell non tagged items of the floor. I came back up to get my item at the end of the shopping trip and they sold it to someone else! If it's important to you, keep it with you or take it out to your car right away.

Horrible customer service. I waited 20 minutes at the jewelry counter. No one acknowledged my presence. I then waited in line for the next available cashier. When it was my turn for the cashier I was told she would call someone to help me. 1/2 hour later, no one arrived. When I complained to the manager I was told “this is retail”. I guess that means because it is “retail” ignoring customers is acceptable.I do notice they have a high turnover of employees which means that the horrible treatment of people comes from management. Avoid this store unless you enjoy being treated indifferently. They really don’t care if you are there or not.

It's a pretty nice store. Good prices and it goes towards a great cause so I don't mind shopping here- especially when they have good sales going on with their colored tags. Also usually clean and organized. Plus the staff are really helpful, polite and generally nice people.

This place has the potential to be great but it set up horribly. The clothes are arranged by color not size. So for someone like me that wears a 3XL, finding clothes is painstaking because I have to paw through hundreds of clothes to find my size and preference. Other than that, the prices are good (although they seem to have gone up lately), quality is good, and the store is fairly clean. Not sure about the used underwear though...

Store is well lit, clean, and inviting. Found an enormous amount of vintage duds and house hold items. The staff was knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. It was a relaxing environment to shop in and we would drive the two hours to do it again!!
