This store always gets better in the winter when other employees come from other stores to help with the holidays. And to be honest, idk if the newer employees were just extra help for that reason or if they are permanent employees, but hopefully, the latter because this location got better with the new additions. Recently, I was here to deposit cash to cash app, and the self checkout was open, but I needed an employee for this transaction, so I went to a cash register with a person. There was no one in line, but an older lady got behind me and started putting all of her stuff on the counter out of her cart. This doesn't bother me with anyone, especially at Dollar General, because it's normal and not a big deal. But then she incessantly complained about my transaction taking too long. And she got progressively more and more angry. The dude behind the counter couldn't ignore it any longer, as I doubt anyone could have. But he handled it perfectly, and not in a rude way, and there just was no talking sense to this lady. In the middle of him apologizing to her, when truthfully, this guy deserved the apology, she stormed out red-faced and full of crazy anger. I will never understand how something like that could make someone so angry. This event just stuck out in my mind so I felt like it was relevant to a review. Any store with employees with integrity makes that store better among stores. And as dollar generals go, this location is clean.

Like the store, normally have what I need. But Consider shopping elsewhere if you want a pleasant exchange when checking out. The women who is normally behind the counter never says hello or have a nice day. Just scans your items, says your totally, hands you change and that’s it. not very friendly.

I understand Dollar General is a place for low life losers to work but my return experience was absurd. I was next in line and mentioned I had a return and the lady said nothing to me, realized she didn’t know how to do a return and asked someone else but they messed it up and froze the register. Still haven’t said a word to me, continuing to talk with the lady she asked to help her throwing out F-bombs every other word. 10 minutes go by i’m still waiting not a word said to me, the line was getting close to the back of the store and finally she yelled at someone to open up another register and walked over to the other one and you guessed it still haven’t spoken to me. I walk over to the other register and say another 15 minutes. The ladies working today were just sitting in the back office gossiping instead of assisting the only lady up front with the long line. I decided to just do my return another day at a different location and will never come back.

Owosso's dollar general has been a hot spot for my shopping for going on 6 years. I prefer shopping there over anywhere else! Specifically thanks to one of their best employees, Marcy! She's always been amazing with the customer base, including myself and my family members. I would go as far as calling her a close family friend! She's always there it seems, and is always making sure to greet every person she sees coming into the store. 10/10 experience. I'd also like to say that Melissa is an amazing staff as well! She's been friendly too, and is super sweet! I've never had an issue there while either of them are working!

Always friendly service. I love there decore department. Cute pictures, clocks, rugs, baskets etc. Always find what I need at a reasonable price. only flaw is when there putting out there products they always have huge carts in the isle and infront of things people need to get to. mostly clean may been straightened up.

Aisles ate always full of merchandise, can't get thru with a cart, can't see what's on shelves. Staff is ok. Clean the place up!!!!

I absolutely hate going into this store. They always seem to have a long line. 2 days ago went in for a free items only to see the line wrapped around. Had to have been 15 people deep waiting in line. I do not go here unless its necessary. They seriously need to have more cashiers available. Even on stocking they can work the floor as well the registers.

I love the people who work there. Your employees deserve Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off or any major holidays. Everybody gets them. In my opinion everybody deserves holidays! Even factories for god sakes gets more time off than you offer.

This store is a mess! So much stuff crammed in every where. It's not handicap accessible. I mean, theoretically it is. But if I go in there with my walker, I can't get down any of the aisles because their stock is stacked and piled in the aisles. Mostly nice employees, they probably have what you need, if you can find it.

Love these stores! Great prices and staff are mostly friendly. Can't seem to ever just walk out with the amount of items I plan for. But the company seems to need a some more qualified upper management as I've overheard employees talking about matters that a customer shouldn't hear. I'm a manager myself and I would not be happy if I heard that. Not being specific to this location on the last part.

Most of the products are well laid out for viewing but the clothing area is a little cluttered but is still primarily accessible. All in all I think it's a good place to shop and all the employees are very helpful and friendly, That seems to be hard to come by at some places this time of the year .

Every one of the employees are great. They'll help and they're all nice and know about everything in the store. The only problem I've ever had, is they always run out of the things I usually buy. I believe they may need a new ordering system.

With a long line of impatient people and one of our items missing the tag..the two ladies at checkout did an amazing buddy plan and handled the overwhelming moment with ease and kindness. My mother and I greatly appreciated the fact that they never made us feel like a we were being a huge inconvenience. Thanks ladies u did a great job!!

This place is right by my house so you think it would be convenient for me. But every time I go there, they are out of half of the stuff they normally stock. Like milk, dog food, AAA batteries, Hershey chocolate syrup, dog treats the list goes on and on. I was just standing in a decently long line, so the first cashier called another cashier up there. The second cashier came up and rang 3 people up and got the line down to just 3 of us me being next in line and she just walked away. Didn't say anything, just left and went down an aisle and started straightening up. It's 637 pm not 937 pm they don't close for 3.5 hours. If I was the manager she would have been told to go back and check everyone else out until the line is done. Not till it's not half way to the back of the store. This place sucks.

I like the prices but I don't like how the registers are set up. Makes it hard to unload your cart and check out, especially when there is a long line check out doesn't flow to get people in and out with ease. Isles are typically full of boxes and difficult to get around. Its hard to find store help when needed. Usually one person is at the cash register and another is in the back doing whatever and pops out once in awhile

There was only one worker in the whole store....I bought a 12 pack of soda and a bag of ice...the cashier told me that she would have to come unlock the ice box outside so I went out and waited but after 10 minutes had to go back into the store and interrupt her text message to remind her to unlock the box. This was at 10 am and stopped while traveling to the next jobsite for the day...a 25 minute stop at a dollar store is just ridiculous.

The staff at the local DG in corunna are very helpful and courteous. A great place to pick up odds and ends for me personally, as well as for my employer's place of business. I go there often and always leave satisfied with my visit. I recommend them.

Really friendly staff...But they need to organize and categorize this store a little better. Was in there last night and it took forever to find what I was looking for. Stuff was all over the place and everything on the shelves looked like it was just throw on them.

Literally ever single time I come into this store the line is like 3 miles long and there is NEVER EVER 2 or more registers open at once, they let the lines get 3 miles long before opening another register, this is totally uncalled for, this isn’t a free service, this is something I’m paying money for, o e good thing is that most of the employees are friendly and helpful

I only went in to put money on a pre paid master card but I actually didn't have to wait in line a long time like always. They NEVER have but one cashier checking customers out. Wish this store had everything the other dollar general's have.

Every time i go here they are out of something im there for. Im told whats on the shelf is what they have. Ive never worked a retail store that didnt have stock in the back so i find it hard to believe that every time the shelf is empty they just dont have any. This has happened on a weekly basis and now i have stopped bothering to go in there unless desperate.

Staff is pleasant. I got a flat in parking lot. I was able to leave my truck until next dat when I could get a tire. No Hassell at all.
