We took our 4 month old Pomsky to Kaylee for a two week board and train to work on everything between potty training, basic commands and more. We really didn’t know if helping our pup was possible, being a pretty stubborn husky mix. We have been so pleasantly surprised! The amount of growth that our pup had In two weeks was incredible! We are so happy with how well he is doing! We got videos, the entire time with updates and check ins. We will one hundred percent be back for a refresher/advanced obedience training and boarding. 😊

We decided to add a puppy to our home after losing our family dog. Our new pup was a handful. We were at the end of our rope when we decided to try Canine Unifursity. We sent him for the two week obedience class. Kaylee sent video updates so we were able to see his progress throughout the two weeks. At pickup we went over all the commands. The at home transition was rocky and there were points when we wanted to give up. Kaylee answered all my texts and gave us tips to help. After sticking with the training we gradually saw an improvement. We made another appointment for few months later. By the time we made it to the next training he had improved so much. Their methods do really work and they are wonderful people to work with. Plus our dog clearly loved being with them. Thank you Canine Unifursity!

My dog had severe separation anxiety. I couldnt even leave the house. He would bloody himselfvin the crate. Canine Unifursity was my last resort. I was incredibly impressed with the change in him after his 3 week stay. Following up at home is imperative but they gave me a huge, solid foundation. Five stars, hugs and chef kisses!

Kaylee and Jake are wonderful to work with. I sent my 2.5yr GSD mix rescue to them. He is such a sweet boy but would become aggressive (randomly it seemed) toward people and I didnt know what was triggering him. Overall, I wanted him to be able to relax, walk nice on and off leash, have basic commands down and I wanted to understand more about my sweet boy.He completed the six week off leash program and he is now much calmer and less reactive. I was a little hesitant about the price of the package, but this is a lifelong imvestment for me and him and I think well worth it, especially after seeing the results. I also reached out, after the program was completed, and Kaylee responded quickly and was extremely helpful.He listens and responds to me now. He knows what is expected of him, and I have learned so much about dogs, GSD, and training in general. Kaylee is awesome to work with, very sweet, and informative. She sent weekly updates of the training and kept me informed of what they were doing. The transformation was wonderful and I could see the improvements as the weeks went by.Thank you so much to Canine Unifursity for all their hard work! My doggie is so happy, loves training, and everything we've both learned is invaulable. It's incredible to see him walking nicely, not lunging, or growling/barking at people and other animals, and responding to me. It has been such a wonderful journey and I couldn't ask for a better trainer or a better boy!

We cannot say enough how wonderful Kaylee is! She gave us our confidence back with our pack. We rescued a dog, and after about a month in, there was a dog fight that resulted in us keeping two of our dogs separated within our house out of precaution. After a few months, we reached out to Kaylee and scheduled in-house visits. She came in with zero judgement and began to work her magic. Right away in the first session, we were able to get the two dogs calm and in the same room as each other whilst on leashes - something we didn't think would be possible. Kaylee comes in wanting dogs to shine and show what they're capable of. There is a saying; The dog will show you the reality, and the human will tell you the story. Kaylee and Jake had our two dogs for a two week board & train. Our dogs are very different. Kaylee customized her approach to best fit each dog. She also was a great listener, ensuring the way she taught the dogs was consistent with our training. Finally, Kaylee and Jake were so thoughtful and thorough with their communications - lots of videos over the two weeks so we knew how the dogs were doing and we knew how to follow up and extend their training. Our dogs will go back!

We sent our dog through training because she was showing aggressive behaviors towards our male dog. We honestly were so lost and had no idea what to do because it was becoming progressively worse. We asked about a million questions before sending her through and knew that this was our only hope. They treated her amazingly and I loved having the updates. All of the videos they sent she looked happy and seemed to really love it. I think they did an amazing job with her. She came home healthy, happy, and with a new set of skills! I truly felt that she was safe in their care.

Worth every penny. I cannot tell you how happy we are that we made the decision to reach out to Canine Unifursity and Kaylee and Jake.Not only did they go above and beyond our expectations in regard to the outcomes of training with our pup, their customer service and communication with us during the process was fantastic. We recieved multiple texts and videos during the weeks he was gone that we used to help ourselves learn at the same time.We took our 1 year old Corgi pup (Loial) who had zero training, was barking constantly, had plentiful accidents in the house, food aggression issues with our other dogs, and his on leash walking behavior was pitiful.He came back with his same spunky personality but we now had an agreed upon way to communicate with him! We aren’t perfect, but now that we have a strong foundation set by Canine Unifursity, we are able to be consistent and easily get back on track if we have issues.I can’t tell you enough how much this has reduced the stress in our life, and how much better of a relationship we have with our pup now that we are on the same page.Truly sooo thankful to the dedicated staff at Canine Unifursity for the amazing job they did with our little boy!

When we decided to welcome our German Shepherd Chester into our home, we knew we wanted to work with a professional trainer. Kaylee was highly recommended to us, and she was everything we expected and more. We have done the one-on-one sessions, group classes, and the board and train. Every service has helped our dog and us to live and play together in our house and in public. Chester is able to enjoy our woods leash free. Canine Unifursity has been worth every penny we have spent and we are grateful for them.

Where do I start! Our Bruno boy has been attending Kaylee's courses since he was 10 weeks old and was able to set a concrete foundation to grow on in Brunos training. Most recently Bruno had been struggling with leash pulling and jumping on people. After a 30 minute 1:1 with the introduction of the prong collar and my life has seriously changed. I don't have to worry about him pulling me to the ground or walking to the other side of the street because i was scared he was going to pull and jump on someone. Since we have gone on so many long walks and even been in public more often because he is constantly checking in❤️ I would recommend Canine Unifursity to everyone who wants a BEYOND RELATIONSHIP with you doggo. We have participated in the obedience, agility and boarding and Kaylee truly is great at what she does will Furever😉 be who we trust to take care of our babies

We are so, so grateful to have found Kaylee and Jake. We sent Oakley, our new, young rescue terrier, to them for a three-week board-and-train program (with specific work on reactivity), and he is noticeably better in so many ways. He learned a ton while he was at Canine Unifursity, and we even had Kaylee out to our house for a private lesson to specifically work on behaviors between Oakley and our older dog, Georgie. Kaylee and Jake are thorough, thoughtful, and they helped us understand how to ensure our dogs are happy. They shared tons of training videos, tips and advice that we can refer back to when Oakley and his humans need a reminder. It's such a relief to know we can successfully communicate with Oakley now.

After training our dog Scout, we realized there were still a couple pieces of the puzzle we couldn’t put together on our own. We went to Canine Unifursity for a week long board and train to help us fill in the gaps when it comes to loose leash walking, place when new people come over/up the driveway, and just building more confidence in our nervous dog. Kaylee is amazing and knows what she is doing! We got video updates every day that we’ve saved as an album to reference when we need guidance on following through and keeping Scout’s training up. He fell in love with Kaylee & Jake, truly becoming a part of their family while he was with them. He came backg a more calm and confident dog. We were very impressed at what fell in place for him after the work they put in over the course of the week. I can’t recommend them enough!

My dog Finnigan & I have been working with Kaylee over the past year & we both love her!Finn is now completely reliable off leash and walks wonderfully on leash as well. Want to give a great review for a great experience at Canine Unifursity. We had to leave town for a week and had a 13 week old puppy. I had never used a kennel before and they came highly recommended. They went above and beyond taking care of our baby and even went to the vets to get him some ear medication! Love the fact that he went to their home every night! Will definitely use again! VERY convenient having them right here in Owosso!

We’ve boarded both our 100 pound plus Rottweilers with Kaylee and Jake multiple times. We’ve had no worries about their well being when with them! They’re always cared for and well loved when with them! We get updates often on how our babies are doing. We definitely recommend Kaylee and Jake for any boarding or training needs!

My pup Juniper used to be super overexcitable and easily overstimulated, which made walking and having guests over really difficult. She would pull on the leash, climb up me when triggered, and simply would not settle if guests came over. I’m talking full tilt, sport mode, body slams-level excitement. I sent her to Kaylee to work on those things for a three week board & train and all I can say is… I don’t even know because I’m still so blown away. Kaylee was so wonderful to work with and learn from and Juniper came back with the tools she needs to live a happier, calmer life. Walks are enjoyable! She can hold it together around strangers and new people! It truly feels like a whole new experience with her. Kaylee sent videos just about daily explaining her progress and what they were working on. I missed my girl but felt totally comfortable with her care. It’s clear every dog in Kaylee’s care is loved! We will be back for any future training needs and I look forward to boarding too. Cannot recommend enough!!!

We had an incredible experience from start to finish with Canine Unifursity! We had our 11 month old mini golden doodle, Lizzie, go to their 4 week board and train program. There are so many positive things I could say about Kaylee and this program, but here are just a few :)-Initially, the idea of sending Lizzie away for 4 weeks felt so hard, but upon communicating and meeting Kaylee all of those reservations went away. They truly love the dogs they work with and I had perfect peace with Lizzie working and living with Jake and Kaylee! You can tell this is not just a job to them and they invest so much time, energy, and love.-The communication throughout Lizzie’s whole program was excellent. We loved and appreciated the videos of Lizzie and her training. It also greatly helped my family and I to know how we could be successful with Lizzie upon her return home. We did not know how to communicate our wants and needs to Lizzie and now we have the ability to do that-total game changer!!-I appreciated how Kaylee made sure to ask and work on the specific issues with Lizzie that were important to us. A few issues that Lizzie had that we really wanted corrected were she would not come when we called, jumping on people, pulling when lease walking. ALL of those and more have been resolved and so many new skills learned on top of those!!-Prior to Lizzie’s training with Jake and Kaylee there were so many aspects of dog ownership that were stressful and frustrating and now there is SO much JOY and EASE (for my family, our guests, and Lizzie)!!-Canine Unifursity has been such a blessing to our family and we would recommend them to any and everyone!!!!

We sent our one and a half year old German Shepherd for the 3 week reactivity board and train program and were blown away by the results. Prior to going through the program Kaiser was unpredictable and would lunge towards other dogs and people so we were not comfortable taking him places with us. Since going we have been able to take him camping with us and enjoy the relationship and trust that Canine Unifursity helped us build. We would highly recommend the board and train programs offered by Canine Unifursity!

My dog Nelson just completed a 3-week board and train session with Canine Unifursity and I am truly amazed. I cannot say enough about the work that they did with him, he returned to me a whole new dog. My mom brought in her baby (Gracie) who was afraid of everyone. You couldn't pet her, she'd pee all over. Gracie was there for a few weeks and when she saw me, she came to me and...no pee! She let me walk her, play with her and love on her. What a huge transformation.Kaylee (the trainer) has even come back to help mom with some issues (that mom was having, not Gracie) helping mom understand and be more secure. Kaylee is top notch and has a wonderful heart towards ppls fur babies!Highly recommend!

Kaylee is not only wonderful with the dogs she’s working with, but toward the humans too! Our strong, hyper and unique breed of working dog needed a lot of work to be a good family dog and she made it a breeze! With a lot of time and patience, she encouraged us and have multiple solutions to getting him to walk politely instead of pulling, listen to his leaders instead of being the leader, only take things and food when offered and to just be a happy dog!

I cannot recommend Kaylee and Canine Unifursity enough! I've had many different breeds of dogs in my life, but when my daughter and her partner adopted a mixed breed with Blue Heeler, I knew I met my match. My grandpup, Bruno, is an amazing, oh-so-smart dog but can be a handful in true Blue Heeler fashion. We reached out to Canine Unifursity and he's since graduated from two obedience classes and an agility course. He's also received 1:1 training sessions and has been boarded with Kaylee and her husband. SIMPLY AMAZING! Canine Unifursity is hands down the best training experience we could have asked for with our amazing Bruno! Thank you for not only changing our lives for the better but for making Bruno such a "good boy!" If you need training or boarding check them out - WORTH EVERY PENNY (and more)!
