This place will make you wish you were a cat! Creative and cozy private spaces for cats. They have an actual bed, discrete litter boxes, plenty of toys, treats and attention from the staff. Finally, I cannot say enough about their cat grooming! I wish there was an option for more stars.

It was my first time leaving my cat here for boarding. I am happy I did! It’s a nice resort for cats with birds and fishes to watch. They even have a playroom for the cats. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place for a cat while out on vacation! They even send you cat pics with updates.

Our first time leaving our cat there. Very satisfied with the overall appearance of the facility, staff was friendly every time I spoke with them, whether on the phone or in person. Their passion for cats shines through when they are talking to you. Love getting the pictures of our cat they emailed us while our cat was in their care. Definitely recommend them!

I felt very nervous about leave my babies but the cats meow staff sent so many pictures and updates! When I came to pick them up they were in the playroom getting cuddles. It is amazing how much time and love they gave my girls!

The staff are kind & gentle with my Cat. The zen type environment has birds chirping as well as a water fountain running,that creates the peaceful water sound…ever so calming…through out building,giving the place a perfect environment for your cat to relax in. I love this place. Thank you so much Maggie for grooming my cat for a few years now.

Very wonderful service! Had to drop our cockatiel, Mingo, for a long stay. Super quick and easy to get in an out! Maggie was very thoughtful and kind and listened to all of our needs. Thank you Maggie for all the kind attention to our little guy!

One of the toughest decisions I confront before a trip is leaving my dear cat family. Over the past 6 years or so, I have left up to 4 cats with The Cat's Meow. The team here is very dedicated and kind towards the cats in their care. The place is lovely and each cat has space to move in, with toys and furniture. Because I was kept informed almost daily, with fresh pictures, I have always felt comfortable traveling, not to mention grateful for the excellent care.

The decision to choose a cage or a big green house was a no-brainer. You aren't charged for extras like playtime in one of two playrooms, food, litter, toys, one on one time, and photos. Plus, it's the cheapest place around with more bang for your buck.I love how they are set up like bedrooms with plenty of space to move around. The dresses even have holes in the drawers so my kitty could move inside and find a nice spot to nap. They have toddler beds to sleep on as well. Just an overall comfy set up for my kitty.I couldn't be more pleased with the staff either. They are very friendly and you can tell they love their job. I mean, who wouldn't love to play with kitties all day. They send pictures of my kitty several times a week so I'm not stressed about whether or not he's doing OK.Overall, I would recommend The Cat's Meow if you are looking for a friendly and loving staff and clean environment.

Very friendly staff took my old cat in for a lion cut and bath, etc, due to age she does not groom herself anymore. They did a wonderful job 2nd time using them. Would highly recommend. They also board. Have never boarded my cats but if I ever had 2 I would use them.

Maggie is not the groomer anymore. My cat had a painful cut that was bleeding when I picked her up. With her previous Lion Cuts her back side wasn't red and raw either. Maggie use to be very friendly. This year she was unpleasant and grumpy, not as caring for sure.

I'm so happy I found her to groom my cat! She did a beautiful job and he is so happy now to have all his knots gone! Also, her business is beautiful and VERY clean inside. I would highly recommend her to anyone and I would definitely trust my cats to stay here if I ever needed it.

I had to board four cats and was worried about pricing and my babies being in cages, but how she has all the cat suites (no single cages) set up is just wonderful, all four cats were in the same little suite, and pricing was great. My babies have never left my house and were so scared but she would go in and try to make them more comfortable and give them affection. The whole place was set up with plants, birds, fish tanks. We just love it and definitely recommend it to anyone who has to board their kitties. And she takes pics to send to you. She even stayed after hours so I could pick up my kitties so they didn't have to stay another night.

Gorgeous facility with so much more to offer than your standard boarding kennel. Very spacious and tranquil surroundings to keep the cats comfortable and entertained during their stay. The sounds of fountains and birds , along with the beautiful plants bring a peaceful serenity. This paired along with a very friendly and caring professional staff makes The Cat's Meow a number one choice when I am in need of a place to board my feline family members.

This place is just "The Cat's Meow"! Went today to have my 2 yr old cat groomed for the first time..Being greeted by Nita as soon as I got there..such a sweet lady, plus showed me around. This place is a cats paradise. Such cute little "greenhouse " rooms these cats stay in. (Would totally board my cats there). Maggie who does the grooming did a remarkable job on my cat. For him having this done for the first time she was able to get a full "lion cut" done on him. She did a Fantastic job. I even came back 10 min before they were done with him I watched from outside the room and she had so much compassion..she has a gift. Very happy I took him there..Thank you..will be back for sure.

It is difficult to express how disappointed my family is with the care our cats received at this facility. Upon picking them up, one of our cats had lost so much weight you could feel every vertebra of his spine. He was struggling to walk and having a difficult time breathing. He required immediate vet care the next day. The Cat’s Meow did not email or call us regarding how our cat had deteriorated. In fact, they sent us an email a day before we returned saying they were both doing wonderful with a picture where it was obvious he was anorexic. For a facility that claims to provide one on one time every single day, it would have been impossible to do so and not notice how much our kitty was struggling. They also assured us that our cats could be fed separately to ensure that our other cat did not steal all of his food. I am doubtful this occurred as a picture sent included them in the same pod with food.I want to be clear. I am not blaming the Cat’s Meow for our cat being sick. What I am upset with is the fact that no one bothered to inform us of his condition. The vet and the entire vet staff took one look at our boy and were shocked at his state.Before leaving this review, we tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt and talked to them on the phone to try and get a better feel for what went wrong. The response was pathetic to say the least. No one cared. No one acknowledged that the situation could have been handled better. No one even bothered to provide a genuine apology.

We were looking for a place to leave our cat when we go out of town. Saw their web sight and we stopped in to check the place out. I love that they have like a cat hotel. They have garden sheds they have converted into rooms with different themes for your cat. Very unique. Also they do grooming there. We were pleased with what we saw and will be using them to watch our cat when we go on vacation.

I don't have a cat, but I stopped by on my way to the dog trainer next door. The lady at the cat place offered a tour even though I didn't have a cat. But if I was a cat, I would want to stay at this place! The cats looked happy. They were separated in their own transparent houses with furniture and toys.

This place is awesome - a Niles treasure. My cat is usually sedated for his grooming, but I brought him here and he did great. He even got to stay in a (perfectly clean) kitty condo until I picked him up. They really care about cats, and appear to be experts! We are lucky to have such a unique and perfect place for kitties right here in Niles.

It all starts with our old hairy cat that loves to eat. I tried to get her matted coat untangled. It was to the point she was getting depressed. Our cat Sarina needed help. Trying to help her myself I had No luck so I tried 3 groomers. None did cats but all referred Maggie at The cats meow. This woman is FABULOUS ! Within in an hour Sarina had a Lions cut, ears cleaned and nails done. She came out with a swagger and looked great. By her attitude she felt even better.Maggie was better than we ever dreamed, a true blessing. I now understand the 3 referrals to her. We wouldn't dream of taking her anywhere else. THANK YOU MAGGIE YOUR A BLESSING !
