We stayed at Serenity Cottage in Lakeside, MI. Quiet & cozy beach community. Although houses are close together, beautiful foliage adds plenty of privacy. Easy parking for 1-2 cars. House was very clean. Generous kitchen area. Cozy family room. Bedrooms are small, but still plenty of room for a family of 4. Screened-in porch overlooks the backyard & is a great spot for morning coffee or to relax after a day on the beach. Outdoor shower was a bonus to rinse off at the end of the day - enclosed only on 3 sides, but nothing a towel couldn't fix on the open side. The wrap-around deck needs some attention. About a 7 minute, partially wooded walk to the beach.Items provided: plenty of bath towels & beach towels, 2 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella, 1 small cooler, a basket of beach toys, numerous yard/beach games.Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would recommend Serenity to others.

Our friend group had an amazing stay at the Summer Retreat home. Beautiful setting with so much space to relax, play games, prepare meals, and spend quality time together! The home is so quiet and the neighborhood so quaint. We enjoyed the entire layout of the home!Third Coast Vacations was attentive and helpful before and during our entire stay with any questions or assistance that we needed! We will definitely be in touch with you again for our family or friend group stays! Thank you 😊

We stayed at the Lake Escape location and it was such a cute house! Walking distance to everything in town and close enough to drive over to some breweries/wineries. We would definitely get a rental from Third Coast again!

This is a very nice place. We didn’t spend much time at the apartment but loved the decor and for the most part the place was clean. We did however notice dog feces on the carpeted steps and paw tracks throughout the kitchen and small hallway leading to the living room area. When I called to report this they did come out to clean up on our schedule which was nice. Upon returning to the apartment the carpeted steps were clean but it was clear the floor had not been mopped up as there was still paw prints of feces. It’s hard to believe that this even occurred as I would hope that a cleaning crew went in after the previous guest. I would have loved to give this five stars but unfortunately I can’t overlook the issue we had.

An amazing time was had at Michigan Riviera Retreat. The backyard provided hours of enjoyment with family and friends . From swimming in the pool, fishing in the pond to relaxing in the hot tub and the screened in porch . There were a few inconveniences that were resolved by the management company pretty quickly . We have stayed at many houses and by far this company is the most attentive and responsive. They even surprised us with a welcome basket with wine and snacks which was a lovely touch that is greatly appreciated ! Will definitely be coming back next year !

My daughters and I stayed at the Ketchup house in new Buffalo. We spent four nights in this cute little studio! It was literally perfect and very close to the main shopping and restaurant area. The studio itself was just big enough for the four of us to have a really great quick getaway.The extra special touches, such as the gift, bag and bottle of wine were an added bonus! And also the giant Jacuzzi bathtub was a hit! We will definitely look into reserving this perfect little spot in the future! Great experience all around!One thing to know is, there is no silverware so you must be prepared! But everything else was just wonderful!

From the initial call for reservations to the easy check out checklist, Bridget Court house was amazing! House was beautiful and well appointed. Had one small issue and after texting Third Coast received response within 5 minutes and they were extremely responsive. Would highly recommend the property and Third Coast Vacations.

I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan and was not familiar with Union Pier. I've driven by several times on the way to Chicago and had no idea it was so nice. My daughter who is a Hair stylist/makeup artist was hired to do a wedding there so I went with her. We do a lot of traveling to beach towns on the East coast and North Carolina and prefer to rent from real-estate companies. I was really pleased to find Third Coast. The 3 bedroom home was amazing, clean, well stocked, lovely neighborhood and close to everything. I loved the communication checking to see if we needed anything and all the instructions. My only disappointment was that we were working and didn't get a chance to do all that was offered. We have definitely put this spot on our list and will tell our family and friends. It was so good to be somewhere in Michigan and we will return.

This comfortable little studio “Cartwheel Cottage” was a perfect home base for my husband and I after exploring the New Buffalo area and Warren Dunes State Park on our first trip to Michigan. The location was in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and only a short walk to the private beach.We enjoyed many of the recommended restaurants as well as Skip’s restaurant which was our favorite evening meal.The homeowners are very kind and respectful of your privacy. The outdoor shower is nice and handy. Both outdoor spaces, are comfortable and quite relaxing as well. We had a wonderful getaway and are already looking forward to a return trip.**For those with any mobility issues we would note that in addition to the flight of stairs up to the garage apartment, there are much steeper stairs down to the private beach area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool was lovely and the outdoor space comfy. We especially liked the screened in porch. And we enjoyed the firepit as well. I would have given this home 5 stars if the pool bottom didn't have algae. I don't think it was cleaned before we arrived. And, although the bedroom areas were beautifully furnished , I don't feel the sleeping spaces accommodated 12 grown adults comfortably. With that said, I would use Third Coast Vacation Rentals again. They made everything from check in to check out easy.

Look no further if you want amazing customer service and overall professionalism! This vacation company is top shelf! We have used many rental agencies in the past and never had this type of outstanding service. I cannot say anything negative about Third Coast.From the time of booking, they were in touch via email and text to ensure that we had what we needed to experience a care-free vacation. They offered ideas for dining, activities for kids, personal recommendations to add the unique touch of service, additional gear if we forgot anything, and much more. Leading up to our trip, they were in touch to ensure we had what we needed for an easy and enjoyable trip. The messages throughout our stay were also unexpected and welcomed!LeAnne and Dan are amazing to work with. Their mission was to provide their guests with the service they deserve, and they met that and much more. Wonderful stay at this house again!! It is the perfect size for our group of 12 adults. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The garage is such a fun room to watch sports and play games! We'll be back!! Third Coast is always amazing to work with!

Blue Tranquility was the perfect house for our group of 8. It had everything you could need and was in a terrific location to get to New Buffalo or Michigan City. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall our stay was good! Nice location and short drive to get to Lake Michigan. Peaceful area near Blueberry fields. Would suggest more lighting around outside of house. AC air was colder downstairs but somwhat warmer upstairs. Large living room couch was not as comfortable as couch in bar area.Loved the wide open space inside the house, large kitchen and 2 refrigerators! The hot tub was also great!!

We had a great stay in Michigan City. If you are looking for a low key beach like vacation this is it. The house had everything we needed for us and the kids. The beach is a short walk and is very nice and clean. We had a minor issue with they hot tub and it was fixed immediately. Great communication from the booking firm.

We needed a last minute rental due to car issues. We found this gem in New Buffalo, Michigan. The studio apartment was charming. It was clean and bright with everything we needed. It’s within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. It’s about three quarters of a mile from a beautiful beach. If you want take a stroll to the beach it’s walkable. However, if you are taking beach equipment we recommend driving. There is a fee to park at the beach. We enjoyed our two night stay in this lovely town. Third Coast Vacations was super. We will use them again for rentals in the area.

Very happy with the experience! Had a family weekend trip of 12 adults, 3 kids, and a baby and there was plenty of room and things to do for everyone. The property had a pickleball court and hot tub which were both fun and they had plenty of extra towels on hand which was convenient. Definitely will look to book again if we are back in the area. The communication was great as well.

We had a wonderful long weekend at a Third Coast Vacation property in New Buffalo. The house was exactly as described, clean and stocked with everything we needed and wonderful location. The communication was excellent and succinct, I had everything I needed but wasn’t overloaded with communication during my stay. We already want to come back and stay in the same house!

We had a wonderful time! The home is new, spacious and beautifully decorated! The kitchen is state of the art! Grilled on their beautiful new gas grill and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and relaxing around the fire pits in the evening. The backyard is very large and private, surrounded by tall trees. The nearest beach is lovely, but plan on driving there. It's a 4 minute drive, but a 20 minute walk! It's a lovely beach and we spent quite a bit of time there. We can't wait to come back!

Blueberry Fields Country Home - What an amazing house for a girls weekend getaway! Comfortably slept 10 of us with room to spare. You will enter the home to a HUGE kitchen / dining area. The kitchen island is a perfect place to hang out, while the dining table was perfect for a group dinner. The kitchen stocked everything you need, and the home has two refrigerators for food and drinks. The living room has a nice fireplace, large tv, a bookshelf full of board games, and most importantly, a karaoke machine! The bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed with super comfortable bedding. The hot tub is fabulous and sat 6 of us comfortably! The outdoor deck area was perfect for relaxing in the sun. Although there were no kids with us, this would have been the perfect house for families. Tons of games and outdoor toys to keep everyone happy! The house was spotless and well maintained. Also was a very short distance to the local wineries and attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Third Coast did a fantastic job making our weekend seamless, from home and area information, to a sweet welcome basket!

We rented Lazy Dunes for 5 days, 4 nights. It was spacious, cute and the furniture was comfortable. It was close to the beach and lots of hiking trails. Third coast had a map with the details of all the trails available in the rental. There was a laundry room and dishwasher available, which were really helpful. Downstairs had a pool table that also doubled as a ping pong table and our family really enjoyed these. There were board games an an old Nintendo upstairs which were fun for the family too. There was a busy road close by so the traffic noise is was louder than I had expected but ok inside with the windows shut. There were a few issues that arose during our stay but Third Coast worked hard to take care of them to our satisfaction.

The cartwheel cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I. The studio is spacious, clean, and beautiful with everything you need for a nice weekend vacation. With a private beach and very short walkway we had such a nice beach day and new buffalo a short drive away we had good food and shopping. We will definitely be coming back here in the future!

We went up to Union Pier for a girls weekend getaway and stayed at Pier Tranquility. The house was spotless, everything well labeled in the kitchen, beautifully decorated, and the porch was amazing! We will definitely be back and use Third Coast for our rental again.

We loved Serenity Cottage! It was perfect for our needs and the back, screened-in porch was amazing! We've been staying in Lakeside for 16 years of family vacations. This was our first time at this Cottage, and it was wonderful! Lots of wildlife, safe for kids,, big yard, short walk to the beach. Third Coast was attentive when we needed help with a few things. A group of friends stayed a the Blue Tranquility house a while back, and we had the most wonderful time there. The set up of the house was fantastic, and was furnished far better than any other rental I have stayed in. The owners went above and beyond to make sure you have everything you might possibly need for your stay here! High quality mattresses and amenities, a hot tub, and even some bins of toys for the littles. Great location, close to downtown and the beach and in a nice quiet area. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to stay again soon!Shout out to the managing company, Third Coast Vacations, for ensuring we had a wonderful stay. They were extremely responsive and personable with requests. We even decided to extend our stay while we were there, and they were wonderful in helping to update our reservation accordingly on the fly. Detailed notes and guides to help make your stay more enjoyable, and they are happy to help out with suggestions if you are unfamiliar with the area. Highly recommend this group if you are looking for a more personal and stress free experience than your typical Air BnB!
