Fantastic bike shop. Before I got my own mountain bike up here, I rented from south bay a couple times and I was very impressed with the quality of bikes they rent as well as the customer service. Once I did get my bike up, it needed a bit of work done to it (general tune up and fork work). They got it done very quickly and at a much better price than I anticipated!

Recently took an older bike in for tune up and any necessary repairs. Ted was friendly, helpful and professional. The work was done in a few days and was good as new. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

I brought three bikes in to be serviced. The staff is knowledgeable in repair and troubleshooting. Just like a auto mechanic they are attentive to what you want repaired and what parts you want to use, then getting those parts. I had a lot of work done for a reasonable price.

Ted is so helpful! We were visiting from out of state and my husband called his shop around closing time to see if he had time to fix a brake cable on my rollator walker. Rather than tell us that he was closing; or, that he didn’t work on rollators, he told us to come on in. It took about 1/2 hour for Ted to fix my brake cable; and, we cannot thank him enough! Excellent service but limited inventory. I rented a mountain bike to use at the mountain bike park, but due to limited inventory I got a bike that was a little larger than ideal, though I was able to make it work. Call ahead to check their stock.
