The food was delicious, we got a beagle with whitefish spread & a fresh tomato on top. So satisfying after a day of hiking & the coffee was also scrumptious. I loved looking at local art & authors. So cozy and comfortable I bought quite a few books. Their ice cream also seems to be popular but I didn’t get a chance to try, maybe next time.

10 stars! My daughter and I went to a bigger place in town that was supposed to be good but were really creaped out by the dawn of the dead feel it had so we kept looking and found this place. We're so glad we did. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and friendly, and the staff was magnificent. This is the place I would go to as a regular thing and would probably never get tired of it. Plus, it has a book store built in! My daughter loved it also and gives it 2 big thumbs up.

Stopped hete after a picture rocks boat tour for a snack and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered an iced caramel latte, iced vanilla latte and cinnamon roll. All where really good. I just wished they would have added more flavor to the lattes and they didn't ask if I wanted non dairy milk. Other than that, place was clean and staff was friendly so I would recommend it. They also have ice cream so I look forward to giving that a try next time!

I ordered a purple lotus drink, a iced latte and a blueberry muffin. everything was wonderful!! the coffee was super well balanced, the lotus drink is an absolute must try and the muffin was moist! overall great food/drink, not to mention the employees! everyone was very welcoming and friendly ☺️ definitely recommend here !

Amazing milk shakes and pleasant customer service. There was quite a line, but it went very quickly.Came back two more times over several days for more ice cream and to explore the book shop side of the shop.Really a great place! Plenty of space for books, art, there's a piano here which a customer was playing (very well) for a while and now there's a nice little string band playing barn-dancy type tunes. (See my video.) So fun and charming!They also have an international coffee club here where you can pay a one time small fee, get a mug with your name on it on the wall, and get drinks at a very low price for life ( was it 50¢? I don't remember.)

A beautiful coffee shop to spend some time grab coffee and breakfast in this small touristy place. The pictured rocks cruises are right across the street and this is a perfect stop to spend some time while waiting for the cruise.They have a range of breakfast and coffee options to choose from. The coffee offers nice and different taste compared to what you can find at regular chain locations like Starbucks.

It was a very nice local coffee house. They had a wide variety of breakfast/luncheon options and a wide variety of coffee drinks. They have vegan/vegetarian food and drink available and the bookstore attached to the cafe has good seating options. I had a mocha cafe with soy milk and it was very yummy. Drinks can be served hot or cold and there is also and ice cream ! I would definitely recommend.

Nice cafe in downtown Munising. They have ice cream, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and ton of other Michigan made products. Their latte was fantastic. Their bagel sandwich was also fantastic. However, their hot chocolate was not good. It tasted more water than the hot chocolate. I would think this is a one off instance. Over all 4 stars! I would visit here again. The store is also connected to a small book shop.

What a find. It was windy and chilly on the motorcycle, and this place was the perfect restful stop. Cozy, great ambience, excellent coffee, and a damn fine grilled cheese sandwich. Service was awesome. People up here apparently can’t stop smiling? Anyway, I’ll be back for sure. I need to try the ice cream.

So awesome! Great breakfast sandwich, generously sized. Our daughter loved the cinnamon roll. Coffee was very good. Great atmosphere with all the books. (Apologies for the photos of almost finished food. It was so delicious we forgot to take photos at first.)

Great place for a cup of coffee or breakfast. They have a limited number of breakfast items, but the egg sandwich with cheese and bacon on a croissant is excellent. Place fills up with breakfast crowd. Lots of tables inside and books for sale on the walls. Have excellent WiFi, free. Coffee is outstanding.Parking: Some spots on the side of the building and street parking available.

This is a cozy and cute cafe in the upper peninsula. It is downtown Munising near Superior Lake. If you are waiting for a boat tour or going to explore the Pictured Rocks, I would recommend stopping here. They have good coffee, yummy food, and great gifts. I enjoy their collection of books and board games. They also have live music.

Falling Rock is a nice, unique coffee shop and bookstore combination in Munising, within walking distance of the water and the Pictured Rocks debarkation area. The cappucino was good. The lady who took my order and helped me was really cool. We had a great conversation about government bureaucracy and how inefficient it is. They have a decent selection of books here as well. If I'm ever back in Munising, I"ll be sure to visit again.

Great cafe with espresso machine for good coffee, an ice cream cooler, and a nice cafe menu. The seating area was eclectic and the atmosphere was fun. I got a yummy cappuccino and my husband got a oreo espresso milkshake:)

Coffee was pretty decent and had the kick I needed but I love the atmosphere. If I lived around here I’d spend all my time writing here. The staff is very friendly too and they had a variety of books here. It’s not just used books either. I bought plenty of new books here too. Really loved it!Parking: 5-6Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here. :)

Great place to relax with coffee and the breakfast sandwich. Up the street from the Pictured Rocks cruise dock. Wish we had more time to sample a chapter from a book! Very friendly staff and atmosphere.

A great Cafe for quick breakfast and coffee. Food is delicious and yes they have a variety of books for sale. A really big cafe in the heart of Downtown Munising that offers abundance space to chill and read books. A highly recemomded spot for the reading minds.

Cutest breakfast spot meets coffee shop, Art pop-up and library all in one. Conveniently located right on the Main Street, staff was very friendly and accommodating about our gluten free questions (my partner has celiacs and was able to find decent options). I had the whitefish bagel, whitefish was local and delicious, but as an east coaster my bagel standards are high. However they great looking menu options and vegetarian friendly options. Could have spent all morning here reading but we took our food across the street to eat at picnic tables overlooking the lake (also hard to pass up). Come for the location, stay for the vibes.Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly

Amazing place!!!We came a bit late and sadly the grill was closed. As we were looking at the menu she offered to make us something on the grill as she was just about to clean it.That made our day!!!!Good food! Amazing atmosphere!! Nice view. Books everywhere. Could have stayed longer. Enjoyed it.
