Dropped in here couple of summers ago, still remember the great bar vibe and service here. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to visit. No food served by the bar but there are food trucks close by and they welcome underage kids on the family side.I saw pint glasses with Barge Inn stickers and asked about them. Bartender lady told me they're $10, buy one and they'll fill it with a free beer. Sold!One of these days I'll be back in the UP (Lake Superior captured me with her charms) and I'll be "barging" in again here too.

Cool little local bar. Visited here a couple of years ago and made sure we stopped in during this visit to Munising. Conveniently located in the heart of town. Food available at a business outside the rear of the bar so food and drinks are both available. Good place.

Local hang out. We were looking for couple of drinks with outdoor seating. This place had many tables outside. Stage for music, but not playing on a Wednesday. Good selection of craft beer and alcohol. Music playing inside and plenty of tvs.

So, my husband and I stopped to have a place out of the rain while we searched for a place to stay for the night. They don't serve food here but you can order it next door and eat it at the bar, which I found a little odd but it worked. We made some friends shooting pool and had some laughs. Staff was friendly and considering how very busy they were, they did a good job keeping up.

I have mixed emotions about this spot. The first night my girlfriends and I came here, we had the most lovely waitress. We had such a good experience we decided to come back the very next day for some drinks (& in hopes we’d be serviced by our original waitress) & it was the most polar opposite experience ever. The woman bartender was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered! Walked away from us (while we were ordering) 6 times & attended to the “regulars”, barely giving us the time of day and had an attitude the entire time. I ordered a beer and she dropped the orange slice on the bar counter and then proceeded to put it in my drink 🤢. I really did not feel comfortable here the second time around because of the attitude she had and how she serviced us. Truly disappointed because we had such a wonderful first experience here 😪

Reasonably priced cocktails. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. indoor and outdoor seating. Not too loud, not too quiet. Plants. Full bar. We brought our food over from next door. Had a fun low key time. Would recommend.

Met up with some friends for our last night in town to have some drinks. First round we got okay. Second round we ordered never arrived! Had to go ask the bartender for them and had to wait quite a while for her attention because she was having a lengthy conversation with another customer. Seen our waitress we placed our order with up at a table counting money so she was obviously just ready to leave instead of satisfying her customers.Also, I do not recommend their margaritas!

The owner kicked us out with our service dog. He asked to see her papers and said “did ya get these on the computer?” We showed him her tag and explained that she is a legal service dog for seizure support and he told us to leave.

Awesome patio complete with a kitschy fountain and a giant tree to sit under. Inside is a great place for pool, darts, and Pacman. Friendly service.

Fun bar for watching a game or playing pool. The bar tenders and the locals are friendly. We enjoying going when we visit Munising. Fun place to relax after a long hike. The drinks are reasonably priced and there is a wide variety of beer and liquor.

Great little place in Munising to grab a nice, cold, refreshing beverage or two or three. Spend some time on their tree-filled patio if seating is available. Good selection of craft beer from the area as well as national brands if that’s more your style. While we were there in summer of 2022 they had just updated the bathrooms and expanded into another store front.

The bartender was very nice, and took the time to tell us about some off the beaten path things to see and do. They have a very well stocked bar, and they have a few craft beers on tap. Worth a visit, especially if breweries aren't your scene

We love this bar for the experience! They had an amazing band the night we came! Was definitely a fun atmosphere but drinks were weakly poured. Would visit again for the band but drink beforehand!

Amazing!My husband and I stopped in on the way back downstate to grab a few drinks, some food, and watch the Michigan vs. OSU football game. This is the cleanest bar I've ever been in! The drink prices are great and they let you bring in food from the food truck next door. The bar playing the Michigan fight song each time Michigan scored was just the cherry on top of a fantastic experience!

We love it here!! Good prices and the food was PHENOMENAL! I had the Surf & Turf tacos while my fiancé had the Philly Steak Sub. Both of us agreed that it was some of the best food that we have ever had. We will definitely be back.

Great beer on tap. They do not serve food, but is close to the Rollin' Smoke Barbecue and can bring the food inside. Great service. You can also buy your own Barge Inn mug for $10 a get your first drink free!

We really enjoyed ourselves here. They have a good selection of craft beers,and had great live music the night we were there. They have a large outdoor seating area which we would have enjoyed on a non-rainy night. Overall a good time.

Have not checked out the whole building but seems like a lot of seating, and the outdoor section is really cool with plants, flowers and small water fountain. Prices seem better than average. You can order food from the Tobey's Dog House food truck either in the parking lot or at your table inside tavern. Waiter comes to your table for food and/or drink orders (or you can of course go up to the bar).Only thing I didn't like was the country music playing, doesn't fit the nautical theme but I guess that's a small gripe.Cool place!

1 star because 0 stars isn't an option. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink after hiking all day at picture rocks national park and immediately felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Original 7/10/20: Very poor service. Took 15 minutes to have bartender even acknowledge us. Then she forgot 2 of the 4 drinks and had to be told again. No masks by any of the staff members despite the government mandate. Obviously, caters to locals only. Felt unwelcome as a tourist in a tourist town. Update: 8/31/21 Wow! Owner replies one year later to say I’m lying. Not surprised tourist are unwelcome. The review is 100% accurate!!!

Jen the bartender is great! Looks like they just added on and have darts and pool tables. Nice screened in porch area and outdoor seating. They don't serve food but there is a taco truck outside and a bbq place that they allow you to bring in.

Morgan was my bartender tonight. After a very long night of driving I needed a drink.. wasnt disappointed!!! she was AMAZING!! Im from Chicago and just needed a great Bloody Mary's!! Which was awesome!!!! Was great and patio seating is available every come to munising Michigan come here!! Tell her Carla send you!!💯💯💯
