Heard this restaurant was under new ownership and thought we would give it a try. It's got the same crazy atmosphere of oddities that will keep you entertained while you wait for your food. The bar still looks like an extended version of your grandma's kitchen, but as long as you know this going in its fun. There were six of us and we went on the burger special night. They were pretty good and priced reasonable. It was a Friday night so we got there early. A little before 5:00. The front area was cold and she said they were having trouble with the heating system. We sat in the way back room and the atmosphere was not good. It looked like an afterthought. We ordered right away because we were hungry! Food did not come out until 5:50. We should have left.I have fond memories of this place but probably won’t go back. Bummer. I hope it gets better.

Under new ownership as of August 25 2022 , food is great stop on in and check it out it’s now called Farmers Tavern, there is no steak or ribs at this time but the burgers are great, Pizza is top notch

Okay so I’ve be been going here for years every Tuesday night. Last summer it came under new management, I’ll freely admit, I was very skeptical, but I gave it a chance and am very happy I did. The owners genuinely care about their customers, both us old regulars and new folks. Give it try and btw, great pizza!Parking: Plenty of parking out front.

Super disappointed in our first (and now last) visit to this restaurant. We walked in and the place was about half full. We found a table and waited about 10-15 minutes before we were even greeted. Waitress apologized for the wait and asked if we would like anything to drink while she went and got menus. She returned about 10 minutes later with our drinks and menus, then asked if we wanted to see a steak menu, which is separate from the regular menu. Uhmmm…yes please since this is a steakhouse. 🤷🏻‍♀️ At this point I counted tables and she was only waiting on 6 tables, while another girl had one. About 30 minutes into our visit we finally got our order taken. I ordered a medium well sirloin and my husband ordered a wet burrito with no beans. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer. Nearly 30 minutes later we received the appetizer. Waitress tried to deliver them to another table and when they told her they didn’t order them, she set them on a tray on a table while she took orders at another 6-top table. When she finally brought them she asked “did you guys order onion rings?” Needless to say by this point they were cold. She again apologized and said our food was up, yet it took her another 5 minutes to bring it out. She set the steak down and asked if I wanted to cut into the bloated cut to see if it was done. I knew it wasn’t simply by the looks of it and sure enough it was RARE. Nearly raw in the middle. It had now been an hour since we sat down and I told her to just take it and that I no longer wanted it. As she took it away and went to get a second drink for my husband, he starting eating his burrito which had beans in it despite him ordering it without beans. I took the plate up to the bar and asked for the check for our drinks and that we would be leaving. All this time there were never more than 7 occupied tables. I was told that they were very busy. If that’s busy, then I might suggest getting more help on a Saturday night. That was completely unacceptable and bad enough that we won’t be back. There’s plenty of other establishments in the area with great service that cook the food as ordered.

Always great food, exceptional service and happy spirits throughout. Prices are good and the place is open almost always. Did I mention the fire pit, pool table, karaoke, and cheap drinks? Also this bar has room for your entire company party in a more private setting away from the main bar crowd. Stop by and see for yourself this place is pretty amazing.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! The new owners have truly taken pride in making a great name for themselves. Totally revamped how many previously thought of Farmers Tavern- it’s a whole new atmosphere! I got a burger and loaded tater tots and it was the best I have EVER had. Way better than wagon wheel, any steak house, or anywhere in a 100 mile radius in my opinion. Don’t walk- RUN to Farmers Tavern and enjoy an amazing atmosphere, cold drinks, and the best food around!

I ordered takeout and arrived about 10 minutes after they recommended. I stood around for about 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Then was told I would be helped. Then the person who said they’d help proceeded to ignore me. There were wait staff and bar staff available to help but I guess I wasn’t a priority. I won’t be coming back. Bummer- it’s a local place.

Visited 1-28-23 about 5:30pm, walked in and was greeted by a waitress and found a table and set down. After 15 minutes and no service whatsoever, I tried to motion an associate over to at least get a menu to look over. After 10 more minutes, the 4 of us left, without a word from any associate. The restaurant wasn't even 50 percent full. Very disappointing and sad people behave that way. We are senior citizens.Update: we went back to see if anything changed, and it did. We were promptly waited on and served quickly and the food was excellent.

Stopped in for a bite to eat at about 5:30, not very crowded. Walked in and was greeted by a waitress, sat down near the rear of the restaurant . We looked around, admiring the decor for about 15 to 20 minutes, but no one came to take or drink an order. Even tho the table across from us was attended to. Maybe they something against senior citizens, we just walked out.

Stopped in with my family this past Friday. The food was amazing! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The owner Corey came out and personally said hello.We are always looking for little mom and pop places to eat and we found one here in Muliken! I highly recommend you give them a try, worth the drive!

My husband and son had their weekend dinner steak special that they both said was delicious. I had the olive burger and it was so good! They had a local singer for entertainment that night which was an added plus. New owners Corey and Chrissy have brought Farmers back and we will visit again soon!
