This particular Dollar General is the most unorganized and cluttered store I’ve been in. You would think with it being in a small town the employees would take pride in their environment. Every time I’ve come in here I have had to move huge carts out of the way to get to the product I need (if it’s in stock), floors are dirty, carts full of stuff all over the store, dairy is almost always expired and the products they do have are completely unorganized. Employees are too busy out front smoking on chairs that customers are supposed to buy instead of taking care of the store. Employees also get annoyed when you have to squeeze the dog toy to check out.

I love the idea that there is a Dollar General so close by. It makes it easier for my family to purchase what we need and they have a lot good things. The workers are so friendly when you come in and nice. I got to know two-three of the workers and they are really nice and friendly.

UPDATE from original post. Ever since they got Jeremy this store has done a complete 180! He’s a great addition to the community. Prior to him this store lacked customer service.This store is by far the worst Dollar General in the chain. The employees are rude, refuse to wear a mask, leave the phone off the hook so they don’t have to answer and have no idea what customer service is. Corporate really needs to come out and can everyone of them. If you don’t like your job then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Get your head in the game at work. I mean, really! Could you actually give the customer their purchases before they leave? And not even a "sorry for your inconvenience." It's "oh, I knew you'd come back for it." Like it's all good. It's a cashier's job ... can you handle it? Pretty simple. Customer pays ... cashier bags purchases ... gives it to customer. Doesn't sound complicated to me. Apparently over their heads. Dah!

Rude and short for no reason. There was a guy that worked here that was friendly, but I haven’t seen him so I avoid this place at all cost. Anytime I shop there now I leave in a bad mood. You work retail so don’t act like it’s such a huge inconvenience to check someone out. Also, the polite response to a customer when they say, “Hello, how are you?” would be, “fine thank you, how are you?” Not to snap with, “Fine.” It should be a polite two way conversation. Never mind the fact that the employee should be the first to greet the customers anyway.

Messy too small your male (Brad) I believe his name is. cashier could be a little more pleasant wait a minute a lot more pleasant I've been there more than once every time I go there he's crabby. I don't know maybe it's just me.

I can't help but to shop here its too convenient. I know have no problem picking up a few things for my wife. Its on my way home it isnt oversized like Kroger or Walmart its just big enough to have everything i need. I am in and out with milk, cereal, coffee creamer, shampoo or socks it has a little of everything

Good selection on a variety of products but the Aisles are a bit cramped and I dont think I've come across a pleasant employee on probably a couple of years- they're either unhappy or outright rude and boorish. I dont think the company treats it's employees very well if the majority of employees behave this way.

Accepted my return without a box I had a receipt . Store was a lil unorganized but had a really good variety of cleaning products besides dusting sprays. 0 pledge.very friendly customet service

I was weary about putting a dollar general in our little town. It was a big step for us. But we have seemed to be growing. And I honestly love that it's there. Super convenient and clean. Always very well kept.

Another fantastic Dollar General in a must needed location. Nice to have a place to stop for essentials in Memphis, since there is no grocery store in town. Prices are much better than the convienence store.

I love DG definitely download app for coupons and make a shopping list. I was able to stock my whole kitchen of my 1st apartment and decorate my Bathroom with DG absolutely love it. They need to pay their employees more.

What a great place to stop. The smaller venue makes easy and fast shopping because everything is so close. Only one aisle away is what you are looking for.

All employees are generally very friendly and helpful. Prices are usually quite good and consistently lower th than other places. Make sure to get and use your Dollar General app!

The store says that they open at 8 AM. I don't want to drive all the way to the store to find out that they don't have the item that I need. Please answer the phone!

It was a nice,clean store. Looks like they were switching out the merchandise for Easter. One of the cashiers waa a little slow, but I'm guessing he waa new.

I love the fact I can shop local for things I would normally have to go to big stores for. The staff is friendly and greets you when you go in!

They have a wide assortment of clothing, snacks, food, etc. They just need more people at the cash register. Stood there fifteen minutes in line... normally it's five ... they need more employees!
