Drew and Stephanie both took such GREAT care of my senior Springer Spaniel who has some minor health issues. It was our first visit to this grooming shop and as expected, we were a bit nervous. My dog has arthritic issues and can't stand for long periods. She also has cancer & gets tired easily. They let her rest frequently, they took her outside, offered her water. They even held her head up while she was being groomed. I had a feeling that this groom was going to take a long time and I had no problem with that. (I understand why grooming situations sometime take hours.) This shop was so kind and understanding to my dog's issues, it made me cry from appreciation. They truly care. I was so very happy to find this "golden" gem. Thank YOU fom the bottom of my heart.

Took our goldendoodle in for a puppy cut. Came out almost shaved - only about half an inch of hair left on his body. They didn't even touch his ears or his tail which look ridiculous with his body and face so short. Most of his nails didn't get clipped (their answer was "oh we must have missed some") His ears were never cleaned out. The place was so filthy - like it has never been cleaned - and smelled horrible. Dropped him off at 11am and he wasn't finished until almost 5pm. Like other reviews, I assume he sat around for hours before they even started on him. Now, since we left this place, he has had diarrhea. I'm sure, due to their complete refusal to clean the place, that our dog's illness was picked up here. They said they only gave him water but my guess is from a very unclean bowl that every other dog they've seen has drank from without cleaning it. We only came here because they were the only groomers who had any availability. Now we understand why. Will never come here again.

I dropped my golden retriever off last Saturday for his 10 am appointment. I have taken my dog to various different places to be groomed over the years, and it has always taken 2-3 hours. My dog was at Golden Paws for 7 hours! I called at 2 to see when he would be finished, and they said around 3:30 or 4. At 3:45, I got a call saying he wouldn’t be done until 4:30-5. I never got a call saying he was finished, so I showed up in person at 5. The lady was watching TV, and my dog was in a kennel. When I asked her why it took 7 hours to complete his bath and haircut, she just shrugged at told me it was $65. When I asked again for an explanation, she said she didn’t even start working on him until 3 (5 hours after I dropped him off for his appointment).Fast forward to Tuesday when my dog had a double ear infection. I took him to the vet and she asked if he had gone swimming or had his head wet for any prolonged period of time over the weekend since this type of ear infection is caused by water in the ears. He had not gone swimming and the only time his head would have been wet was at the groomers.I will say that he looks great and they did a wonderful job with the cut. But I will definitely not be returning here again.

I took my dog there for the first and last time today. When I picked him up, his leash was torn at the handle. The explanation was that they tie the leash to the cage while the dogs are in the cage!?! They said he must have pulled the leash through the cage and that’s how it tore. Regardless, I wasn’t happy. $30 more than my other groomer and a $25 leash that I had to throw out.

I took my older cat to this groomer because he had developed some pretty severe mats around his neck that were just too difficult for me to get out on my own. The woman there worked with him right on the intake counter because she could see how scared he was and didn't want to stress him more by taking him to the back. She worked so patiently and precisely, making sure to stay slow and not nick any of his skin. I was so grateful for such a gentle touch for my old guy! I also take my dog here regularly for a nail trim and hey always do a great job---and charge a reasonable five bucks. My vet charges sixteen! So, this is my place!

We took our 13 yr old lab/setter mix today for the full spa treatment:) She has lots of health issues, skin problems & back issues. Stephanie was gentle & patient with our Missy & not only did she look great when we picked her up, but she was in good spirits also. We brought our other 2 dogs for nail trims when we picked Missy up. Very reasonable prices & caring treatment.

I called to make an appointment for a nail trim and hair cut for my dog. I was pleased when I was asked if I could bring him in within the hour! I dropped him off and ran some errands around town. An hour and 15 minutes later, I arrived to pick him up. No one was at the front desk. I shouted hello a few times. There was still no answer, even though I could see a woman working. I noticed she had a hearing aid, so I shouted louder. There was still no answer and she never even looked up. That's when I noticed a dog that had been on the grooming table having his hair cut at drop-off was STILL on the grooming table, but this time with no one grooming him. The dog was whimpering and it was evident he was tired of standing and wanted to lay down (I would too after over an hour!), but he couldn't because of the short leash around his neck that attached him to the table. The dog cried and tried laying down a few more times before leaping down from the grooming table, bringing the entire set-up crashing to the floor. The woman working finally looked up and saw the situation, yet did absolutely nothing. She continued grooming another animal while the dog paced around the room, dragging the metal set-up behind him. Finally, another woman entered the building through the rear entrance. She got the pacing dog settled in a crate, picked up the metal equipment from the floor, and came to greet me. I asked her if my dog was ready to be picked up, and she said she hadn't even started on him yet. He had been locked up in a crate the whole time. She rudely said, "Well I never called you to tell you I was finished." Why ask me to bring him in "within an hour" if you aren't going to groom him until hours later? I asked to have him back and we left. After seeing the blatant lack of care and respect they had for the animals and their safety, I would NEVER take my dog here and would highly recommend others go somewhere else as well.

This company is fantastic with your pet! May not have great people skills but my lab who HATES baths, loves coming here! My other dogs in the past have also had a Great experience. Been coming here for years.They've got my business

I have taken my dogs here for over 10 years. My dogs have never had a bad cut. They are fast and very loving to the dogs. Tazz doesn't even object to going! I recommend all my clients and friends. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

I took my shiba in for a nail trim and the second they got started he started screaming. While shibas can be temperamental, he's normally a well behaved dog in these circumstances. We only took him there because it was convenient but never again. I feel bad to leave such a negative review for a small family owned shop but my poor guy is still stressed out

Asked for a "puppy cut" for my Golden Retriever....they SHAVED her! Told me there were many different versions of "puppy cut". If their version is to shave then the customer should be made aware. A golden retriever puppy has at least an inch of coat....puppy cut!! Will never take my dog back!

I took my 2 labs in for a nail trim and 2 different people cut them. 1 dog had 2 nails bleeding and the other dog had 1nail bleeding . Horrible job. I have never had any of my dogs nails bleed when I took them to a “professional dog groomer until now this was my 1st and last time going there.

We took our two dogs here one is a Labradoodle and one is a collie Aussie mix. The Labradoodle that we can obviously see how they did, which requires them to shave him they did great. The collie aussie mix that actually requires them to work and take care of the undercoat. They gave him a bath. They trimmed the outer edges and then they did nothing else. We got him home and he has large clots from his undercoat still there. We have to take him to another groomer to actually have him taken care of. Do not waste your money on this groomer.
