Two of the worst cones we've ever had. First off, consistency is the feeling and taste of oddly soft cool whip. Secondly, size and shape for a medium is very lackluster. Hope this was just a bad night and next time will be better.

ZERO STARS if possible- The lady in front of me received her chocolate dipped cone STREAMING DOWN with melting ice cream and chocolate. Then mine came and it was not covered in the dip, it was melting and had no cinnamon on top . Color of dip was way off. By the time I hit the light at Clarkston road I was WEARING IT.Don’t go here if you like your ice cream actually frozen when it’s handed to you.

Big fan of DQ, but this particular location has been a consistent summer disappointment. We are sitting outside tonight at 9:37p, and this branch is closed, despite hours listed being open till 10p. This is the 5th time we’ve arrived 15 min or more before closing within the last month to find it locked down with no one inside. We and others have even had instances where, though workers are inside, they will not open the doors to serve us and others waiting outside even though it is not closing time yet. Very disappointed.

Today the employee dropped my blizzard, then remade it. This time she didn’t flip over and I noticed it was already melted. I then asked to have it remade. I was told it would be a wait. Ok then after waiting she said maybe twenty minutes to remake vanilla , so I asked for a refund. I was not offered a coupon at anytime for a free blizzard. There are signs all over advertising free coupon for next visit. This place has really dropped in customer service.

This place was awful the blizzard was bland and tasted like it was watered down. Me, my family and friends will never come here again. It tasted like frozen yogurt, and the "chocolate brownie extreme" looks translucent. i even had to get another one because I just thought I did not like the flavor turns out I just hated your blizzards in general. Not to mention you had no food. All you had were pretzels, and after all of that. You did not even have cheese or ranch,Sincerely disappointed.

Recently several employees seem to not know how to properly prepare simple items. The owner needs to step up and get some of these folks properly trained.A peanut parfait us supposed to have 3 layers of fudge and nuts.

Another cool place to go to with your family and that Dairy Queen in Lake Orion Michigan. They have the best ice cream they have the best food there and the staff it’s excellent and friendly going inside and getting your food or going to the drive-through. The staff will help you no matter what that’s why I recommend, Dairy Queen in Lake, Orion Michigan

All the teenagers working here are awkward and rude. I say this as someone who worked at Dairy Queen as a teenager. The handful of times I’ve been in, they’ve been sitting up on the counters or chilling on their phone. We drive to the Pontiac DQ bc it’s always such an awkward experience here and the sitting area is always totally trashed.

Waited in the store for 20 minutes in the store just for them to tell us they are only taking three more orders. Everyone there should’ve been able to place their order and just cut off new people at closing time.

This is a good ice cream place to eat at it’s always clean. The staff is always friendly. It’s a good friendly place. The ice cream is good that’s why I recommend five stars.

We've gone to this DQ a number of times. The employees are always very friendly and do a great job. Today's visit, the soft serve was a little too soft, but out of the dozen or so times we've been here, not enough of a reason to not give this location 5 stars. Overall, we always have an excellent experience from start to finish whenever we come here.

Ice cream is always good, just know that they close at 9pm even though the sign and open sign usually get turned off early. My wife and I went tonight around 7:15pm today and all the signs we’re off. It would appear the place was closed if we didn’t live locally and know the hours.

Normally this location is great.. however the last two times I've went there at 8:45-8:50.. the open sign has been on and all the lights were on.. I walk up toward the store and I get almost to the curb and someone runs to the door and locks it and turns off the lights and sign. The girl saw me when she did it.. I think if the door says 9pm that should mean 9 pm not 8:45 or 8:50. I ended up going somewhere else that doesn't turn customers away..

I have been to this DQ many times. Unfortunately, the last several times, there were literally only 5 or 6 pieces of candy in my medium blizzards. Because i worked at DQ for 6 years, i never threw a fit or said anything hoping each was a fluke. Then i went and got a pumpkin pie blizzard... they forgot to put in the pie crust pieces ENTIRELY. That’s about $5 wasted every time. It’s a bummer, but i wont keep wasting money on completely improperly made blizzards there.

I usually never have any problems with this location, but tonight, I went in and ordered a small chocolate blizzard with double reese’s buttercup (which I was clearly charged for when I paid just over $9). However, last time I got this same exact order, it was clear there was a good amount of reese’s inside and was made perfectly. This time, you literally couldn’t see anything in the ice cream or taste anything. I went back in to clarify with the young man at the register and he claimed he ordered double like I asked, but just because he put it in, doesn’t mean it was made with double from the other girl (who also didn’t say it was made with double). At this point I just walked out, and went home and threw out the blizzard without eating any of it....& completely wasted my money. Definitely will not be going back.

It's a great DQ with a very friendly staff that had no problem adding peanut butter sauce to my peanut butter cup blizzard. They even put a drizzle on the top of it after mixing it up. I also had a BOGO coupon and they gladly accepted it. A great treat and experience all around.

I Have Always Had A Great Time At All DQ'S!!! This Location Is Excellent As Well! All Dessert Type Items Are Terrific That I Have Tried, And There Is No Doubt The One's I Haven't Tried Yet Are Terrific Also. I Had A Burger At Clarkston Location And It Was Good. The Only Other Food Item That I've Had At DQ Is At This Location, The Hot Dogs Here Are The Best I've Ever Had, Honest! Try A Hot Dog At DQ, They Are Terrific!

As long as i come in the middle of the day his location is alright. There are a bunch of younger kids that need to learn what customer appreciation is and how t o smile. I would not be surprised if this location does not last much longer. I never ever complain even if i get the wrong food at the resturant I just go with the flow. But, the last 3 times I have tried to go to the Lake Orion location at 8:45p or 9pm there doors have been locked and the open sign was still on. I know there print out hours sheet says *hours are subject to change, but, It wouldnt be as much of a hassle if I didnt promise three of my kids ice cream and there is only one entrance to their parking lot bc of construction and with their neon open sign on I would expect their business to be open which makes it more difficult. I now drive to the Oxford DQ off m24 and Dranher they always and smiling faces and stay open till close. (Side note) after leaving the last time I watched three more cars pullup and walk up to the door to not get it. All the are doing is loosing business.

I have had multiple bad experiences there, but last night was the worst. I waited in the driving through at the speaker for a long time until someone finally took my order. When I finally pulled up to the window I saw why it took so long. Two of the employees were just chatting away until they finally came to take my payment. Several people who ordered behind me ended up driving away because it took so long (and there wasn't anyone inside being served so it shouldn't have taken so long). When a few people drove off I actually heard one employee say "these f****ers keep driving off (and then laughed). When I finally received my blizzards I got home to discover they were very poorly mixed (which has happened a few times there). Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.

Id like to inform u that ur blizzard machine is not set to a cold enough temp in my opinion if thats not it im at a loss the past two trips have resulted in me having to drive home about 1.5 miles and put my blizzards directly in the freezer to enjoy the next day i have noticed that i am not the only customer so it might just not work well back to back but if the worker had held them upside down (she did not) there would be a complete mess on your counter it was the consistency of milk not even a milk shake had it not been covid and the place been full i would have taken it back thats happened twice this month so u should check that out I'm sick of not enjoying my treat when i get the craving to.
