Update for Santa brunch** Mostly good. Service was excellent although she completely forgot to enter my dish. An apology was made but it arrived way after everyone else and she acknowledged her mistake. All good, but a gesture of at least a comped coffee would have gone a long way. ***Don't order the filet on the brunch menu. It was the worst piece of meat I've ever had and can't be considered a filet. So much gristle. Everyone else's food was fantastic though.Fantastic mother's day brunch. Service was great and friendly. Brunch menu was amazing. Oysters were perfect. Mimosa was fresh squeezed and wonderful.

My wife and I ate here on 04/18/24 and we had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing and the waitress “Sue” was truly a delight, making our dinner date memorable. As an added bonus, the chef made a point to come to our table to personally great us and ask us how our meal was. After a brief conversation, he provided a complimentary tasting on a new bourbon offered on the menu. This restaurant is highly recommended, and we will make a point to return here in the future.

The place has a neat atmosphere and there is no cell service in the building. No biggie, but it would be nice. They made my eating companions food to meet his allergy issues, although they could have avoided remaking it if they mentioned it had shellfish on it. Sadly, since they rushed his order to be remade, his steak came out raw, so they had to cook that a little more. The place was clean from what we could tell, since it was so dark in the dining area. The portions are a nice size, so bring an appetite. If you like wine, they have a whole separate menu just for the wine selections. Not sure I would ever go back, as my own meal was only okay.

I am a working middle class father on my way to pick up a pizza for my wife that is pregnant with our second child and NEEDS pizza. I was delighted to see Nittolo’s is having their 12-inch pepperoni pizza deal again after recently evaluating our family’s budget and their pizza is well worth the price. I only order a single pizza, gambling that is all I need to feed the family for dinner tonight. We have some other things at home I can pull together for us if warranted. I know I can reach Nittolos using a short detour with enough time to pick up my first child from daycare because we are a modern family where both parents have full time jobs, so I schedule a pick-up order. I get there a few minutes before my order is ready, so I pay with a 30% tip and stand in the waiting area. After several minutes of observing the staff hustle and bustle my order is ready. I thank the staff and I proceed to walk out the door. I open the pizza box as I am about to exit to make sure everything is orderly and I see this hack job (image). I quickly process what is before me and proceed to my vehicle because I have priorities to be in the company my family instead of demanding answers as to why they felt the need to cut a pizza like this. I am in no way a pizza snob, but I know if a pizza looks like this from people who pride themselves on making them then that is a message of disrespect to the consumer. I don’t know why they felt I deserved this. I understand as a business that pizza deal is a “foot in the door” method to generate an order that adds additional items to it during the slower time of the year. I don’t have the financial flexibility to be frivolous with money at this point. I think it is the part of being a local to the area that bothers me the most about this service. Midwesterners generally share a neighborly kindness towards others and I certainly did not sense that feeling as I walked out your doors today. I have sparsely ventured to Nittolo's over the years and had usually enjoyable uneventful experiences. Recent events have certainly questioned my trust in the Nittolo's brand and I am not sure I would recommend their services to anyone I care about just to chance great food for an unwelcomed dining service.

Service was fantastic! Atmosphere was nice, food was definitely not worth the price. I wouldn’t mind paying the high prices if the food quality matched up. The piece of “Filet” on my Valentine special shredded like piece of roast and the shrimp were so big that they had no flavor to it. The Lobster was also just okay. Will not be visiting again for seafood/steak, maybe I’ll try the pizza next time. The Calamari appetizer was actually delicious though! Highly recommend that app.

What can't be said about this beautiful Italian restaurant?Service was top-notch, with Rachel carrying the dining room with her charm and making everyone in the room laugh their butts off.The food is phenomenal, sticking to traditional Italian dishes, including a wood fire oven for pizzas. And with the restaurant just a minute walk from the lake, you can't miss this restaurant while traveling up the peninsula.

Went during Traverse City restaurant week. I was quite impressed. I knew they had good pizza in the other side of the building, but this dinner was excellent quality. Only fault was some risotto that was so sticky and stiff I left it on the plate. Appetizer was wonderful. The salmon had a perfect sear on it, and a dessert of their famous cannoli, delicious.Features: Tables not close together at all. Very nice spacing.

Great food as always and awesome staff. Service tonight was 5⭐️ our server was so nice and hd great recommendations, and very attentive. Hostess was a savior when I left my purse behind and met me down in TC in her way home. Highly recommend and don’t skip the cannoli, worth the extra workout for this treat⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There’s a lot of pizza in Traverse/Leelanau County but you’d be hard pressed to find some as good as Nittolo’s. The dough, ingredients, and technique are legit. The outdoor patio is super charming and the staff were super nice. Lastly, do not pass on the Caprese salad. Best Caprese I’ve ever had!

A moldy bottle of wine describes this meal. Just like the bottle of wine this meal was pristine starting out. I fell in love with the appetizers. We ordered the calamari, octopus, and caprese salad. Each dish was both delicate and delicious. The following food began the festering. I will give credit to the chef on the sea bass, but the steak my partner had was undercooked and my father's pasta had a well of oil at the bottom. Personally, I'll forgive a undercooked steak. That being said, the pasta was drowned in oil. I was reserving judgment so that my partner and father could enjoy their meal. Sadly, the desert was delicious, but paired with a black mold laden bottle of wine. This moldy bottle of wine was the resulting nightcap for what should have been a world class meal. I still payed for everything and gave the server a %20 tip, but offer this review as a warning for anyone who is expecting something incredible.

Slow start, but it was obvious that it was just they were making the food fresh. It was amazing, we had the firecracker shrimp and a pizza. Would definitely recommend. Very nice atmosphere, i would like to come back in the evening to see it with the little lights on.

Holy calamari!! My family and I just had the best calamari ever! Nittolo’s Seafood & Social (and Nittolo’s Pizza) serves amazing calamari cut in steak strips with peanut pad Thai, ginger slaw and cilantro lime sauce. It is lightly breaded and so tender. The layers of flavors of the sauces makes it the most interesting and delicious calamari we have ever tasted.I had the most delicious, huge Caesar salad with big shavings of Parmesan cheese and crunchy croutons (two types!) piled on top. The dressing was amazing too!We all shared a tasty pepperoni pizza with the most tangy tomato paste/sauce. The pizza crust is delicious! Yummy!!! We will definitely be back to try more seafood and pizza — hopefully very soon!

We came on a Wednesday evening and were seated with Tom as our waiter! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal. The service was quite spectacular, we enjoyed a perfectly paced meal. The food was very tasty and there was clearly a lot of thought put into the pizza menu and the wine pairings! We met the chef, he was very personable and clearly passionate about his craft. We intend to return and try out their formal menu! There is a very clear dedication to customer satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone in the area, it’s even worth a bit of a drive.

Is This The Best Restaurant In Northwest Michigan? If not, it's certainly one of the best! Nittolo's Seafood & Social has recently opened in Lake Leelanau and it is outstanding. You may recognize the name as it shares a hallway that connects it with Nittolo's Pizza, which is owned by the same person. However, this is fine dining at its best. I will describe some of the dishes we had, but the menu varies with the best local fare available. I was told that it will be updated frequently, on a 2 to 3 week basis. So, this description of particular dishes is more to explain the thinking and skill brought to the food, rather than promise that any particular recipe will be available on a given night. Attached are pictures of 4 items, a Morel Bisque, Chilean Sea Bass, Conoli and Oysters Rockefeller. Look at the Morel Bisque. It's packed with morels, which is a bit astounding in itself given how other restaurants portion them out more like precious jewels than mushrooms. The morels are complemented with portobello mushrooms and flavored with whisky, cream and truffle. The combination of flavors cause the morels to resonate with what I can only describe as a thick, creamy, succulence. The same with the Chilean Sea Bass, This fish is wonderful as is, but the chef has layered it with a large scallop, yams, a morel (more morels!) risotto, pieces of succulent oxtail, and a saffron vermouth cream sauce. These two dishes demonstrate skill rising to a level of pure culinary art! I have also included two pictures of more prosaic items simply because they are the best of these I have ever eaten - the Oysters Rockefeller and the Connoli. Both are examples of the best these dishes can be. The menu is a fixed price of $79 for three courses. Both the oysters and the connoli cost extra. So, is it this the best restaurant in Northwest Michigan? There are only a few competitors in its class, but without a doubt, you will not be disappointed.

We came here because "local friends" of the friends we were traveling with said, " this place is amazing!" So we all went. What a special dinner we all had. Taylor was our waitress and she was wonderful.Eric Nittolo, the owner spoke with us; he is such an engaging person! Currently both seafood and pizza menus are offered in the main dinning area. There are changes underway, they are reconfiguring the current space; creating a new space; for a dining experience with the ultimate seven course meal- top drawer- with limited seating, beginning in May! Something to look forward to!

We decided to eat at Nittolo's at the last minute and left satisfied with our experience. The wait time was reasonable, the waitress may have been an exchange student, and she was a delight to speak with. We received superb service. The environment was nice, sitting outside in a patio setting. I feel like we ordered the whole menu and desserts but still paid less for 6 people than we would have in any fancy restaurant in downtown TC for 2 people. We will definitely come back if in the area.
