This is a nice hardware store. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A big benefit for me is that it's not a big box store. It's easy to get from one side to the other and it doesn't take 5 minutes to find someone to ask for an item's location. They carry a wide variety of products, from an Ego riding mower to nuts and bolts. Another positive for me is that you can buy a small amount of nails or screws, you don't have to buy a big box of them to get the 2 or 3 you actually need. Another reason I shop here is that it's a Michigan company, locally owned and operated. Shopping locally is important to my wife and myself. So the next time you need a container of LP gas for your grill, parts for your plumbing or electrical project, your scissors ✂️ sharpened for $6.99 a pair, a key 🗝️ cut, a quality tool, or whatever else you need, please consider stopping here first

I gave this middle of the road rating because I never know what level of service I am going to get when I enter the store. It's either 10 star service, or service that is non-existent. I understand that these are difficult times and staffing is at a critical low. All I would like to see is some consistency. I'll still shop here because it's convenient. Kudos to Matt(?) the paint guy. He's always awesome and knows his products well. I always look for him when I need paint advice.

Rewards program is nice. Staff is knowledgeable and nice. They have A LOT to offer for the size of the store. High quality interior paint selections & supplies. Curbside pickup is quick and easy. I always have a good experience when I stop in.

The reason I guess I love this particular ACE is a few reasons. One it’s always clean and super well organized. Two I’m a grill/bbq/smoker guy 24/7 364 and this place has great brands and supplies year round stocked up. Lastly like the BBQ supplies they always have every dept stocked up no matter what season year round.

Nice young lady named Makayla answered my question when I called. I drove an hour to get there and she was very nice and friendly. My only complaint was none of the other workers seemed as friendly as her. At least 3 other employees walked past us and not even a smile or simple hello.

Ace hardware on Morrel in Jackson, Michigan has some of the most friendliest people. Thier prices may be a little higher than Lowe's and some of the other big box stores, but help is always right around the corner a smile and a please and thank kind of way. I go here all the time and have never had a problem in any way. Return's are a breeze, always given with a smile no questions asked. It's worth while to shop somewhere where you can trust the business and the people. Try it out and see what you think somethime.

I went in looking for sand bags in tubs. I sort of manager was so kind took me right to were they were outside loaded 4 of the 60lb bags for me. He saved me a trip I was just driving by his store and thought I would pull in and ask. I do not live in Jackson. Your store was very clean and large. Thanks for being very friendly I wish I knew his name that helped me.

I have had a mouse problem. I have bought things to get rid of them. But didn't work. This older women greated me and took me to the area were the mouse traps would be at she showed me and said this one is good. So I bought it she even told me what to use as bate so I did everything she said a boom I got the mouse. Thank you Thank you I wish I would of grab your name you gave me the best customer care it was on Saturday morning before 10 am on July 25, 2020. I hope the company see this as she deserves to be told Good job.

Staff on the sales floor is very helpful with questions regarding products sold in store and online. Personally I've not had any issues at this store. My go to Ace location.

I just bought 4 , 25lb bags of rock salt there. I'm in my 70s, they pit them in my trunk. Bit they all were or are so frozen, you cannot break them apart. It's like having one large clump of rock salt. They should be ashamed to sell it this wayWe tried throwing the bags on the sidewalk but that didn't helpIf I had a car, I would return them and get my money back.SHAME OM YOU, ACE HARDWEAR!!

I went into Ace yesterday May 29 and bought some heavy umbrella holder things that weighed I guess 30 pounds. I’ve normally had great service there. On this day one of the females who was working check out was very rude. I asked if she could reach over and scan the item and she said no I want and I refused. This caught me off guard and I purchased my items, but I will travel elsewhere if this the kind of treatment I have to encounter when I come in the store

It was terrible.. I waited for 40 minutes to be helped.. a young associate came out to help a pretty girl then disappeared.. I was interested in a Traeger Ironwood 650 grill and could not find any assistance in purchase of the product.

I ran in to get wood filler for a boyscout derby car later at night. Was offered assistance as soon as I walked in!While I looked at filler my child looked at paint swatches and he claimed he was buying paint. The staff not only humored him but also played games with him since the store was empty except for me. I ended up buying the filler AND paint lol.I’d go back

Was just in today and they are having a inventory reduction sale. Everything 40-70% off. Generators, Stanly tools, Fertilizer, Bug Sprays. Very good pricing. I priced check a few items using Red Laser and found with the minimum 40% off there are a lot of very good deals. My recommendation would be to get there quick before the word gets out. This is not a liquidators sale NO trash.
