I have had my pet at this office for years and now told the vet will not fix my dogs herniated belly button with out spaying her. I asked why and was told because the vet believes there are to many puppies in shelters and all dogs need to be fixed. I don't think others' personal opinions should be part of proper care for my pet. Her being fixed is my choice, not her vets. My pets will no longer visit this clinic.

My dog Thrognar just loves visiting his friends at Ithaca Animal Hospital! Everyone is so friendly, and he gets showered with the attention he thinks he can't live without. I so appreciate the consistent kindness, and expert knowledge to keep my best buddy happy and healthy.

Everyone in the office was very friendly, and you can tell they love animals. Dr. Dorr explained everything clearly, and even showed and explained the x-ray for my dog. I didn't feel pressured into getting any procedures or services either. I even think my dog enjoyed it! I am SO glad I switched to your office! :)

Dr Sanchez and his whole team are amazing. They helped me with my sweet Daisy Mae when we were going thru liver failure. They can handle this crazy Dog Mom, being a nervous wreck, they can handle anything😁

We had to have our 16 year old Pug put to sleep. The STAFF and DOCTORS at Ithaca Animal Hospital are THE BEST!!! They could see our Pain in making this decision. They all were BEYOND Compationate and understanding!!! The entire Staff and Doctors were Incredibly Professinal. The Crematin and the return of the Ashes was met with so much Love and Understanding. After we had picked up the Ashes, which were put in the coolest Urn and Velvet Bag. They did such an Awesome Job. PLUS, a week after the Cremation and return of our Pet, they sent us a Condolence Card SIGNED by the entire Staff with messages of Love and Respect of what we had just been through. I Highly recommand the Itacha Animal Hospital. The Entire Staff are Incredible!!!

I was running late the last I had vaccines for my two beagle pups. I called ahead and told them I was running late they said it was fine and to bring them in anyways. So I did, only to pay for the bill at the end and they charged me a $15 per pup late fee. I had just spent $400 there last month for my four dogs to get their updated and shots and I was taking my pups back for another round. Which again spent another $200 and they had the nerve to charge me a late fee! If they would have told me they were going to do that I would have just cancelled! At least warn someone that might happen I had never heard of such a thing before!

When I came in the door my pet was treated with kindness and a welcome soon as we hit the door .they know what they are doing with your pet and they treat them with love and kindness .my animals are very comfortable with the care they receive from Ithaca animal hospital.alit if places it's like a business to then it's more of really caring for a pet with love and compassion.

They are very friendly they love my mango and if you’re upfront, they will help you as much as they can. I am a single mother of four I have three pets I can barely take care of my kids at times, but I am honest with them and they help me take care of my pets if need I appreciate them

This place is great. It's just 3 vets in this office which is a welcomed surprise. Most vets are a revolving door with a different doctor every time. Just like humans, pets need the same person they feel comfortable with during their medical care, too. In addition, they didn't push anything extra on me and try to get more money out of me. They are reasonable priced and knowledgeable folks. They are definitely getting all of my business from now on and I have 2 dogs (14 year old yellow lab and 2 year old golden doodle), plus 4 cats. Fyi...we left Sheridan Animal Hospital because they were getting too big for their britches (schedule more things than they have time for or enough doctors to cover and their prices are extreme!).

This office is VERY unorganized. Long wait times too. Doctor is very nice however. Check prices before you have service! They are very high priced. Even for simple stuff they are way to expensive. Kind of surprised they are still in business with their prices. 😂

The excellent staff at Ithaca Animal Hospital cared for Gemini beautifully, let her have a piece of my clothing (to smell) the whole time she was there. They were so friendly with her...and me. Post surgery instructions were explained clearly and the surgical site was clean. It's been 5 days and she's doing well. Thanks to this practice!

My fiance has remained a loyal customer to this vet for years and we got turned away for being 9 min late due to weather conditions. We live over 45 min away (on a good day) and pass multiple vets to go here. Apparently, this is a policy that was never discussed or that was presented for us to sign for 10 min plus late. Thats fine, if there can't even be a leniency due to weather, then we no longer need to go here.

0 stars if possible. My mother had a horrible experience at this hospital. The vets treated her horrible and the vets were very unprofessional when it came to the conduct with a large dog. Refusing help for the dog when asked. Saying the dog was being aggressive when they forced my mom to tighten a muzzle down so tight the dog could barely breathe. Acting scared of the dog and standing in the corner. Not professional whatsoever. Worst interaction she's had a veterinarian clinic. Female veterinarian can't remember her name because it went that bad. Just sad..
