My experience in Kroger went well. While the store was moderately busy, lines at the registers were short. Plenty of cashiers not much wait. I have an encounter as I was leaving I ask a worker to move a cart. She rudely replied that my cart would not fit, and walked away. I'm disabled and had a motor cart they have there.

Worst Kroger ever! Went there today about one they had some young girl on the express lanes, there was one flashing lights that you couldn’t use cause she had to reset it, she’s got then three others where the lights started flashing she didn’t know what to do! On my way out I told one of the long time girls she needs help over there she just gives me a look and turns around!!! Plus hardly any carts in the store, whoever is running this store needs to do a lot of work to get things straightened out! The Kroger on 26 mile is great they will go out if their way to help you

Store is clean and employees are friendly the whole digital coupon is a scam. Huge waste of time. Should not post the coupon price next to items in store. I now the elderly are getting scammed out of the sale prices. This store has genuinely good employees but the corporation overall sucks. Wish there was another grocery store in town.

Kroger in Imlay City, Michigan is terrible. Their bottle room is almost always dirty. They leave trash over flowing out of their garbage cans, their floors are all muddy and wet, not clean, their soap dispenser is out, their paper towel dispenser is out, their bottle machines are dirty, almost all of their bottle bins are full everytime I go into that store and usually nobody is around to change them. They are frequently out of carts in the store because they're usually all out in the parking lot. The workers are always goofing around instead of doing their jobs. The employees are highly overpaid. With the quality of work I see at this store the employees and management should be working for free. They finally repaved their parking lot which was full of cracks and pot holes.Their bathroom could use a remodeling, it's dirty and old. Some of Kroger's food is highly over priced. Their management is rude and corrupt. At least now their parking lot looks really nice.

I decided to write this review when I read a rotten review from yesterday by a J Hamblin. In particular, he wrote badly about an employee there whom I've had nothing but excellent experience with. Alex is an autistic (I think) fella and only tries to be kind and welcoming. He has never once missed saying hello when I come to his line. I can't imagine Alex ever being rude to someone on purpose. I think it is wonderful the way Kroger's supports people with special needs. I've had a great experience with others, too... the cashiers, the service desk people, the pharmacy, baggers. The employees are so helpful at this store. SIDE NOTE: I did notice that 8 out of 10 reviews written by Mr. Hamblin were a 1 star. I wonder if maybe the problem isn't really with Krogers.

After 8 years I've finally just had it, I won't be shopping here any longer. In the last year Kroger has been terrible about selling substandard product l, in particular produce. Fresh produce should last 1 week in someone's kitchen but all Kroger's produce is bad within 3-4 days. In a time where groceries are inflated we cannot afford to be throwing food out a few days after we buy it. Secondly Kroger's gluten indicators are not trustworthy. I have brought products marked gluten free that are not to the attention of management many times and they will not change the shelf labeling. This is going to end up getting a celiacs effected person very ill. Lastly the staff, there is a person employed here by the name of Alex that I personally have had confrontation with and witnessed others have issues with as well. It got so bad that now I see they make him stay to the back of the store or collecting carts so he doesn't interact with the public, when he should have actually been fired for things I've seen and heard come from him. This Kroger location in 8 years has gone from an average decent store to a place that is entirely unshoppable. After this past trip and again seeing issues worsen yet again, I will just start taking the drive to Lapeer's grocery stores and not Kroger..... Also they screwed my grandmother in her old age when she retired from there but that is an entirely separate issue I have with them but I had to mention it.

Not only did they not give me a receipt, but when I asked the manager she said it was impossible and that I didnt pay for the items. Then when I got the digital receipt they claimed that I must have lost the items. When I asked them to check the line I was in, they said they did, but then they admitted they didn't know what line or cashier I had used. Totally unprofessional and probably just theft.

My numbers were slightly faded on my ebt card and they REFUSED to accept. Day before Christmas Eve too at that. There went trying to make a family dinner. Online wasn’t an option seeing how they couldn’t get my 7 items ready before 8pm. Walmart is the way to go if you have ebt. As long as the cards on you they will accept. Not like we struggle as it is right?

I do not like the fact that you don’t keep a regular register open till close.I don’t get paid to run a register.you don’t give us a discount to ring up our own groceries .it’s not my job to ring up my items to make a profit for you .a regular register run by a cashier should be there until closing.and I’m not the only one that complained but I’m probably the only one going say something on here about it .I will be going elsewhere .Where most items I want are cheaper in priceAnd I don’t have to run a register .To pay for my items.There was a line up at yourself scan and they never called for help .

You're prices are getting ridiculous. Basic items like kroger spring water have doubled prices in the last 6 months. Enough gouging us on the inflation train....

I come back from a work trip and needed food, of course I'm heading to Kroger, it's the closest. While shopping I didn't see the man who normally helps me, weird name, big afro, sweet guy. When I asked about him I was told he was fired. I know he had mental issues and was dealing with it, but really. Now I have to go to Walmart for food. So if you ever see this my Kroger helper, thank you for all your help, since you wouldn't take my tips.

I like most of the employees. The issues with the store isn't their fault. Like not having items in stock or the best produce. But everyone is always nice and helpful. The employees are always working hard.

Too expensive, never enough cashiers, and why do you have to send me emails telling me how diverse you are? I really don't care if the cashier or stock person is gay bi straight or from Jupiter. If that isn't enough, you waste money advertising all this pride nonsense with posters greeting you on the way in. Go woke go broke. Cancelling my Kroger MasterCard, won't shop here again, Aldi in Lapeer is calling my name. So is the one in Utica on my way home from work. Bye Kroger.

Went to the deli for fried chicken at 4 in the afternoon. Was told they were all out of chicken and their fryers were shut down for the day. Why have hours of 11-7 then? Then not to mention you have to wait a really long time to even be waited on. Or you get ignored by employees completely. Extremely unsatisfied with their customer service.

The parking lot is a life or death situation, and it feels like the doors into the store were designed by aliens. If there's ever an emergency or disaster people will have a lot of trouble getting in and out.

Wanted a tube of peanuts. Price on bag was 1.09Shelf said 1.29 clearance 1.16. Had cashier check price she said 1.29. I said bag says 1.09. She scanned it came up 1.29Put them back and said. You can keep them. She said Kroger just wants your money. Wth. Glad I only shop there if I have to. Shame on you KrogerYou suck!!!!!!!!!

Hands down the worst representative of the Kroger chain of stores. Pharmacist is a real witch with NO people skills or compassion, my daughter left the store in tears after this Pharmacist berated her for not knowing the specifics of medications the doctor prescribed. I spoke with Ariannna, the store manager, and she said that there were many complaints against this Pharmacist for similar episodes. The Pharmacist is still there, while all of my family's medications are filled by Rite-Aid in Imlay City.The clerks on the self serve stand are less than helpful refusing to fill rain checks for items and bold faced lying to me saying the product is on the shelf. I am the person that was just there and looking for it, while this self help clerk is standing around up front no where near the product. I spoke with a manager named Randy and told him that with the deteriorating leave of (sic) Customer Service, we will continue shopping at Meijer in Lapeer. Equal distance drive for us.

Bottle return center at this store or terrible. Today only 1 machine was working. Every time I go to return cans it gets worse.I used to buy the Kroger brand French bread pizzas fo .99 cents. Now the have literally doubled in price and now sold in a unnecessary box of 3 for $4. Such a ripoff and waste of a box

If you want lunch meat go somewhere else. The deli is never open. The girl says hours vary day to day….. great way to run a business no set time for customers to buy lunch meat. Have been here at 2:30pm, 4pm and after 6 and no dice either time.

The pharmacy department is incredibly rude! The lady who helped me last time did nothing to help me nor did she seem like she even wanted to do her job! And this time the lady on the phone interrupted me twice while I was talking and had an attitude the entire time I was on the phone with her! Never using their pharmacy again!

Went in today on the way home… a VERY busy time no doubt but there was only 6 self checkouts and 1, MAYBE 2 normal registers open. The self checkout lane was 3/4 way down the aisle, I was waiting for 10 min to get to the front of the line with my 2yr old in the cart. I accidentally knocked over a small Halloween display with napkins and paper plates as a register opened up for me. I pushed my cart up to the open register and turned around to clean up the mess I created, but by that time 3 people were already cleaning up the mess including at least one employee… with 6 small items in the cart I decided to quickly checkout and then go back to help in order to keep the customers in line happy. As I was quickly bagging things up the employee was VERY rude and made a very nasty comment. NORMALLY I would’ve immediately stopped and helped out but I was trying to be respectful to the people behind me who have been waiting just as long as me and I understand she was most likely frustrated because she was probably overwhelmed with the amount of people but her comment was unacceptable to make to a customer
