This is the best clinic for miles! The doctors and staff are just incredibly kind and polite. We are a family of truck drivers and our dog urgently needed stitches removed after surgery. We had little time and only this clinic agreed to see us without an appointment on the same day. We are very grateful to you! You are best))

What a great Vet Clinic !!!!!!!!!! I had a sick puppy + went to my regular vet, who wouldn't see us because it was an emergency, I tried 8 other vets, including AllAboutAnimals in Flint...... no one would help. I was told to go to emergency clinic. That would have been $450. just to walk in + a general quote of $1500. +++ !!!!!!! Then they said no less than a 6 hr wait.A friend got me an appointment at Imlay City Veterinary Clinic, they saw us as soon as I could get there. They were so PROFESSIONAL, SO KIND, and truely cared about my pet.Dr. Morden was great, answered all my questions, totally helping me understand. On top of that, they sent me home with all I needed to give my puppy supportive care. Here it is , 4 days later + my pup is very much on the mend + doing fantastic. The Clinic even called to see how it was going. What a great group of people !!!!!THANK YOU EVERYONE AT IMLAY CITY VETERINARY CLINIC !!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Have used this clinic for our last 4 pets. Dr. Kate is one of the most caring, kind, compassionate animal Dr. I’ve used in 59 yrs of life. Her pride in providing care for our dogs has surpassed all others I’ve used. Her staff is also kind and caring. Highly recommend this vet. Pricing is average, but quality is exceptional. Make sure to ask for Dr. Katie. She’s the best. Dr. Morden, not so much. She wrongly read x-rays that I had to insist on being taken for a broken leg of my expensive puppy, she insisted it was a bruise. Wrong. Dr. Katie re-examined, several days later. & confirmed a break. Resulting in $$$$’s of surgery. The legal staff said Dr.’s make human errors. Take your chances. I’ll trust Dr.Katie only.

We LOVE this vet. Couldn't recommend enough.I took my reactive foster dog in here, and Dr Katie handled everything so well, and professionally. She really helped us with Preston, and so did the other lady (who I did not get the name of!) My foster Preston can be a butt, honestly. Dr Katie didn't seem to care at all, took an awesome approach! We were able to get everything done! We have found our forever vet, thank you again Dr Katie and staff!

Said goodbye to a beloved 16 year old pet here. The clinic was so kind, professional, and understanding. They delivered hard news in a direct but heartfelt way, and they kept my pet comfortable in his final moments. They also accepted an emergency appointment when other clinics turned away a dying animal. I will be recommending this clinic to friends and would definitely consider taking future pets here for wellness visits.

Dr Katie has been treating our fur babies for the last 12+ years! We couldn't ask for anyone better to be at their side, whether it's well visits or in the time of illness. She treats our babies like family! 10/10 I'd recommend her to anyone!

We took our grand dog Sera (age 13) in 6 days ago. Vets ran a panel of test and said they would call with results the next day (5 days ago) I called 4 days ago as we had not heard anything (this would be a Friday) and was told the doctor was out until Monday and we would be called on Monday. Today is Tuesday and still no call with test results. This is similar to other times we have taken our pets here. I guess the caring ends after the services are billed, it doesn't seem to be about the animal's well being.

Dr. Katie is very knowledgeable and understanding. I've moved a lot and been to many vets over the years, and I'm most comfortable with her taking care of our pets. The tecs and support staff are always friendly and quick to help. Always a positive experience, even through hard times!

Would give 0 stars if possible. Took my dog Riley there who is diabetic after moving far from his regular vet. Saw Dr. Morden and they ran all sorts of blood work and tests on him. We spoke about the different types of insulin he could be on instead if his wasn’t working. They said we would hear back the next day, Friday, or Monday. By Tuesday, we hadn’t heard anything so I called and asked to speak with someone. The receptionist told us he needed new insulin, which I picked up the prescription for. We were switching from novilin to vetsulin. We were not told he needed completely different needles as the dosage was different, which caused him to get the wrong dose for over 2 weeks. During this time, he dropped around 4 pounds and was becoming more and more lethargic. He was brought in during this time and I was told to feed him more by the tech. I ended up taking him to a different vet yesterday and informed of the needle issue and how he could have easily passed away due to this. I called and left two voicemails yesterday for Dr. Morden and only heard back through text today stating they would send a script for the proper needles and they would call in the afternoon. No one ever called so I finally called them. After being on hold for 15 minutes (which the receptionist was very nice and understanding- even though I was obviously upset), I finally spoke to Dr. Morden. The first words out of her mouth were “it should have been written on the script.” She did not once ask how Riley is doing now or show any ounce of care for him and basically tried to take the blame off herself and put it on the techs, stating she doesn’t know who I spoke to and why we weren’t told. We are switching vets asap. Now my 11 year old baby is suffering because of her negligence.

If I could give 0 stars 🌟 I would. Dr Mordan is rude, has no compassion and mismanaged my cats blood work and misdiagnosed him. She also did not give him anything for pain or discomfort. I asked for something to ease his pain and diarrhea and she said it wouldnt help so she wasnt prescribing it. How can that not help, provide pain relief and some comfort to him when he was suffering. That was not ok with me. My boy Max was sick, she said he had pancreatitis which is painful and so I was just supposed to let him SUFFER in pain. That seemed inhumane to me. I called Dr Mordan again after we left and she said she had no time to talk to me and this was after we left and had paid $600. I had to take him immediately to another trusted vet in our old town and drove a distance but was well worth it. My furbaby DID NOT have pancreatitis, he had liver and kidney failure and did have to be euthanized which was extremely traumatic because he was my furbaby for 17 years. The thing that bothers me most is Imlay City Vet did not diagnose him correctly, they did not give him any comfort meds. It took me one month to finally recover from the trauma and crying and I tried to call and speak to the corporate office who owns them to let them know what had happened. I left two messages and no return call for weeks. No one except the reception desk seems to care. I would not recommend this facility! I finally received a call weeks later and spoke to the office manager, Joselyn who was argumentative and not apologetic or kind. There is no accountability.

My dog Maia passed away unexpectedly a couple of days ago. Although she had some arthritis issues and was in her later years, it came as a shock. She was scheduled to have a benign tumor removed from her hind knee, but obviously had to call this morning to cancel. Dr Katie called me later this early evening to give her condolences and her concern of what happened. She and her staff are very passionate, and caring. Dr Katie is an awesome veterinarian. Maia was always terrified of going to the vet, and Dr Katie was always considerate and gentle with Maia. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you Dr Katie and staff, you're a blessing!!

The vets, techs, and reception staff at the Imlay city vet goes above and beyond to help your pets. I chose to switch to this vet due to the excellent things that were said about Dr. Katie from a previous vet assistant of hers. My experience has been excellent there. My pets health issues are actually important to the vet and wants to give them the best care they can provide

Vets are very nice, and caring. I'm hoping to be able to go inside with my babies soon, but they take good care of my fur babies. They're a bit pricey if you want any thing more than just an annual office visit with shots, like dental work, or surgery, but all in all I really like the vets, and the tech's here. Been bringing my pets here for many years now. As you can see my kitty was very relaxed in the sink!!

Great with your pets but prices are ridiculously high. I understand office visit price. However nothing is included for that price? I paid another 2 digit fee for the doctor to look in her ears another 2 digit fee to clean them! What does office fee cover?I have spent hundreds of dollars here my mistake, come to find out other vets are way cheaper. Office fee includes looking in her ears. I will be going somewhere else a few miles farther. Can't afford these prices anymore.

I take my 2 dogs to Imlay City veterinary. I have great luck getting an appointment, we don’t have to wait a long time. The techs are animal lovers and treat my guys so well. They have great knowledge of animals and their problems, and have diagnosed them correctly. They have done well for us for a long time.

On Thursday, September 14, our dog Layla underwent Cystotomy surgery at Imlay City Veterinary Hospital. As expected with most post-surgery recoveries, Layla was in pain and discomfort upon returning home. We were informed by the vets that this was a normal reaction and were prescribed medication to manage her pain. We called and voiced our concerns multiple times. She was in constant pain, not eating, not going to the bathroom. We ask all the right questions. Ask for a follow up xray. Just to be told it was a waste of money at that time because she was noteating or going to the bathroom. Her condition took a sudden turn for the worse. On September 17, Layla began to experience severe breathing difficulties. Alarmed and concerned for her well-being, I immediately rushed her to the Animal Emergency Center in Rochester. The veterinarians there diagnosed her with elevated kidney levels and suspected a rupture in the sutures of her bladder from the initial surgery. The situation was critical. We had to decide to euthanize her or save her. We decided to save her. First, they had to stabilize her before they can operate to repair the bladder. In doing this they found Imlay City vet missed a stone which caused the back up in the urine and the rupture. I called imlay City vet to inform them of this and the secretary said she would let Dr. Katie know. We still have not even got a call from her. This does not even sit well with me. Not even a call to ask how is she or an apology. So that X-ray she said would be a waste of money actually ended up costing me 11,000 dollars to save our dogs life because of her mistake. The reality of all this is...These vets do not get held accountable because most people are forced to euthanize their pets because they can not afford to pay someone to save them that would find their mistakes. It's super sad to think all the poor pets that go to the grave early because of the lack of knowledge. One X-ray view is all she had to do to find the stone. I hope this does not happen to another family. I will not take my pet to that place. It took Layla over two days to get stable enough to get a second surgery to repair the damage caused. She is out of surgery and we are hoping her body will heal. It's up to her now. Shame on you Dr.Katie. I will never forget you.

The office staff are incredible friendly! They are very nice and helpful in scheduling and preparing for an appointment. Their curbside service is very organized and helps to keep everyone safe. The techs and the vet my puppy saw were friendly as well and knowledgeable. The vet answered all of my questions and showed a passion for her job.Prices are reasonable as well. They gave me a very nice goody bag with all of my paperwork and extra information as well as some samples.I highly recommend taking your animals to the Imlay City Vet.
