Relocated to Michigan in April 2023. All five of my pets were originally with another veterinarian clinic. However, I could tell that my dogs were not comfortable there. We tried Georgetown Animal Hospital and all of my pets are very happy! Including my most skittish dog. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The doctors are fabulous! I never feel rushed when I bring a pet in to be seen. So happy we made the change!

We’ve been clients at Georgetown Animal Hospital for a few years now. Recently, we had a minor emergency with our dog ingesting some potentially toxic garden fertilizer. The staff was quick to respond with answers and solutions, stayed calm and receptive to the urgency of the situation. The staff was so supportive and the vet on staff was very comforting and open to all questions and concerns regarding after care. We feel so thankful to have this vet office in our lives!

All the staff reflected their love of animals and care through the service provided. The doctor was clear on very detail of my cats examination and prices for care options moving forward. Afterwards I got a thorough follow up call and couldn't be more pleased with my visits.I love the saltwater fish tank in the waiting room too.

Dr. Ashley took great care of Ginger. She knew I was worried about her being 10 and going under anesthesia due to her being a Boston Terrier, so she called me to let me know her blood work was great and she had no concerns. She pulled two teeth successfully and cleaned the rest and called me when they were finished to tell me how Ginger was. She has shown me great compassion and always does an amazing job and both my dogs, Ginger and Kobe, love her. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. And it was clear because Ginger has to make her rounds to greet everyone on her way out to go home.

They do an awesome job. 5 stars. My dog has seen them for many things including surgery, regular checkups, teeth cleaning, immunizations, and arthritis. Office staff is friendly and the doctors are top notch.

First time bringing our puppy and everyone was very friendly and so welcoming. They asked several times during our visit if we had any questions or concerns and seemed eager to be as helpful as possible when answering and giving suggestions.

We have a Golden Retriever we brought in for a total knee replacement. The surgery went outstanding and her leg has healed faster than we even expected. However this is where the good ends. In followup from her surgery she has inexplicable scars on both her lips which we assume are from her teeth during surgery; however the vet won’t provide any further explanation or take any responsibility so apparently she cut her lips miraculously. While taking the prescription drugs prescribed by them she had diarrhea which was to be expected; however she had a breakout of what is anticipated to be a skin infection around her butt and hind legs that the vet refused to provide any helpful advice to soothe her while she was in pain until we could bring her in. The veterinary technicians that we’ve talked to have been argumentative every time we’ve had a conversation on any of these issues.REVISION - After being able to speak with the actual vet a couple days after calling originally about the symptoms our dog was suffering she was incredibly helpful. Unfortunately the run around and argumentative behavior was the vet tech answering the phone in days prior and the message was not reaching the proper authorities.

Great experience. They take the time to listen to all my concerns and address them all during my visit. Very kind and patient with my little girl as she is timid/scared during visits. Great bedside manner that puts me at ease. Prices are reasonable and I like that they take Care Credit so higher expenses can be made on that and I have time to make payments without interest. Operating hours are later which is helpful with my work schedule as well.

I loved our doctor. He was very thorough and showed us exactly what was wrong. The only thing that I was dissatisfied with was that we could not schedule the surgery until records were received and a fecal test was done. Apparently my phone number was not correct so they could not reach me to let me know ahead of time. This happens...I am still very satisfied. Highly recommended!

They are always so loving and patient with my dog. He is very reactive, not in an aggressive way, he just wants to show you how much he likes/loves you and his way of doing that is through barking and screaming. All of the staff is always kind to me as well.

A stray kitten found my husband and I last year who has a bad eye and a bad heart. I couldn't even get him neutered for some time as it was difficult to find someone willing to do surgery on him, and besides the neutering, he needed that eye removed. The first place I found that was willing, quoted for thousands of dollars. A local animal rescue recommended this hospital. They were able to get him assessed and scheduled for surgery quickly and at a fraction of the cost.The best part of my experience was the staff's expertise and care. We were really worried about him having a cardiac event, but we had some solace in knowing he was in good hands. The surgeon called me himself just as he was out of surgery and resting in a kennel. Fortunately, he did not have any events and is now healing well.

Excellent from start to finish. I've met 3 different doctors here over the years, and they are all very kind and knowledgeable. The techs are also super nice and informative. My cat had a small injury and they were able to see her the same day! Can't recommend this place enough. 😊

Don’t go to ANY other vet!! The entire staff is absolutely wonderful - patient, attentive, loving, and understanding. They take wonderful care of our pets! I’ve been to a few different vet clinics over the years, and I will never switch again! They really go the extra mile for both our pets, and our family. 10 out of 10.

Very friendly and kind people work here. I have been taking my girls here for the past 3 or 4 years. They always have a smile on their face and are always excited to see my girls. Unfortunately my older dog had to have surgery and ended up not making it due to an aggressive tumor. But the staff here did everything they could in an impossible situation with constant updates through out the process. I could not recommend them more. Thank you so much for taking such good care of River. :)

Update: our dog Odin had to have surgery this week to repair a wound found on his leg. Georgetown Animal Hospital was quick to get him in, gave me updates along the way while they had him , and took such good care of our sweet boy. I'm very thankful and appreciative of the care given by this office!My family brought home a rescue puppy a few weeks ago, our first puppy as a family. Georgetown Animal Hospital was very helpful to me when I called and set up our first check up, as this is all new to us. At our first visit the staff was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Good took the time to answer my questions and give some tips to us as new dog owners. The staff was all very friendly to our puppy, and he seemed to love every minute!

Nala has seen Dr. Chudy & staff since her birth and we've had purely exceptional visits with them for both routine & urgent care. Staff is always super nice. Dr. Chudy always explains things throughly and provided care options during her urgent care episodes. We chose to see their office because we have a Great Dane and not all vets are familiar with large breed dogs. We will keep bringing her to him for years to come.

We adopted our pup 9 years ago and he has been cared for by the extraordinary staff of caring individuals at Georgetown ever since. My family lives on the SE side of Grand Rapids and we make the drive out to Georgetown gladly. Our pup has seen almost exclusively one doctor, but there have been emergencies where other Doctors have stepped in at the level of care shows by then to an otherwise unknown animal is unparalleled.

They took really good care of my pet even though he was dying. They also gave me as much information as they could for the best way to comfort him in his last minutes. The staff is unbelievable and great at their jobs!!! I am grateful for everything they did for my pet and for me!

I’ve been with GAH for at least 25 years with various breeds of dogs and cats. I’ve always been treated well, as have my pets. I’ve always felt like I had all the information necessary to make informed decisions on pet care and end of life care. As for end of life, I’ve rushed pets in emergently, as well as had thought out plans and have always been treated with understanding and empathy. It feels like family.

I used Georgetown years ago. When a friend worked at a vet we switched as it was then closer to where we lived. When that vet retired we went to a vet in my town. I was not happy. Went back to Georgetown. I'm losing my little girl and Dr. Vito is so very kind and compassionate and actually listens to me. So many other vets push their own agendas. He does not. Georgetown is just as incredible as it was 25 years ago when I used them.

First experience at this place I left my 10-week old puppy overnight to have a procedure. My puppy passed away unfortunately but I was still billed $3,500Which I paid immediately.This morning we called in to schedule an appointment for our new pup, But we're told that we no longer have an account that it has been canceled over a $25 missed appointment fee.Gross.

We have had a wonderful experience at GAH. Dr. Chudy has been great to work with! The only reason we gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that the animals are left unattended overnight after a surgery, and that made us very uneasy.
