Great customer serviceAshby Michigan made ice cream is served here. A local favorite, with a long line on warm Summer nights. The service is great, very helpful and able to answer all questions about the ice cream flavors. Thankful for the sample of the new unicorn Ashby's ice cream. I'm glad I did not order this new flavor, it was sweeter than I would like. It is filled with frosting and sprinkles, but not for me.

This is a really great place! Made out of a refurbished train car. Lots of great flavors. I had the lemon cheesecake which was delightful. My daughter had the kid's cookie monster sunday and loved it!

Good place to stop for your ice cream craving. They also own the dairyville ice cream shop in Fowlerville. Both are very much the same. If you're looking for the classics, or just a regular vanilla cone, you can't go wrong. Prices are fair.

Portion sizes are getting awful the last few times we’ve been! My double scoop has barely been equivalent to one full scoop I get anywhere else.For what they charge, I’m starting to find it completely not worth the trip! We used to love this place but it seems inflation greed is striking yet again.

Ice cream taste cheap and waaaay over priced. My guess is the first ingredient in their hard serve is skim milk NOT cream like it should be. The ice cream they use is watery and has ice crystal texture aka cheap non quality. The girl handing our cone over said “oops sorry, I smashed it” and still handed us a cone with half the top smashed off it lmao… One and done!

Delicious as always. The servers are extremely kind and helpful. I feel bad as they work so hard to keep up with the influx of customers especially so close to closing time. They both did it with poise and a smile on their faces. They definitely deserve some praise (and a raise)!!

Quite a variety of ice creams and toppings. Draws a crowd especially after local baseball games. Staff accommodates the crowds well. Yummy treat for warm weather

Sundaes are worth stopping for. But if you love Blue Moon icecream...keep driving, this is the worst I've ever tasted. My 2 yr old Grandson...who is a porker and eats EVERYTHING...ate one bite and refused to eat anymore. BlueMoon is my all time favorite...I could barely tolerate one bite of theirs. Sorry Whistle Stop. Your sundaes are good though

Pretty expensive for soft serve sundae one dip, & one dip of mocha fudge. I couldn't finish it. I can honestly say that has never happened to me before. But that was the worst ice cream flavor!!!! Luckily my husband's butterscotch topping was good on his sundae. But over $7.00 for this was way too expensive. Nope.

We appreciate the owner doing everything he can to keep this place open. It usually means having only one employee working so we do our best to be patient. It's our favorite ice cream place so definitely check them out. The owner makes the best boston coolers 👏

Pretty much all ice cream shops are overpriced, so I'm not going to give fewer Stars based on that. They are competitively priced. The ice cream is always as it should be - cold and creamy. LOL! The staff is friendly, kids dig the Caboose, and even I request little sugar eyes on my treats :-)

First time visiting this place & overall, we were very satisfied. However, it took 20 minutes from when we arrived to when we could place our order. There wasn't a long line, but we quickly realized there was only one employee working. She did an amazing job working fast and taking multiple orders at a time. There were no complaints from anyone around. She was getting tips from every customer (I hope they go directly into her pocket).Point of my review is management/ownership FAILED the one employee on this Saturday night, and that was really disheartening.

Ice cream was great however trash was blowing around the picnic tables were sticky and we had to go to CVS to use the bathroom which wasn't the best woth a newly potty trained toddler.

Been coming here for years. Good selection, neat location. Sometimes you will get Styrofoam blended into your cross-roads or giant air pockets in your ice cream. You can tell those time when you get double containers.
