I really liked this vet office! Everyone there made me feel very welcome and the doctor who worked on my dog was great! He made sure to answer every question i had and didn't make me feel rushed like other vets in the past had. My dog really liked everyone there and didn't seem afraid or stressed. After her surgery, they called me to tell me how she was doing and when i could come and get her. Price wise, they are by far one of the most decent/reasonable vets that I've ever been to. My dog will be going there from now on and ill recommended anyone looking for a vet to go to platte River vet anytime!

Best Veterinary Services in the Benzie county area. All our pets are patients at Platte lake. By best service always helping us save money knowing we’re struggling in that department but treat us the same as anyone else. All three of our dogs go there and it’s the best.

Rocky is a young pup with 3rd stage kidney disease. We are traveling in our RV and have to see good vets almost weekly. Dr Curtis wow’d me with her care for Rocky. Then Dr Stewart helped with an intestinal infection. Highly recommend Platte River Vets

Jaxson, our seven month old lab mix puppy, had her first visit to Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic in an emergency life-threatening condition. She apparently ingested a suspected but unknown neurotoxin from out in the woods where she had been playing. PLVC got her in right away, Dr. David Nelson, examined her and suggested fluids to hydrate and to dilute the poison in her system. The staff could not have been more attentive and caring and we so appreciate the service as our furry child recovered from a very difficult situation by the next day. Thanks to all at the Platte Lake Vet Clinic.

They are prompt with their services and you're not sitting in the waiting room for long times (this is why I left our last vet). They offer Care Credit which is nice of you have any big vet bills. I appreciate their online communication as well. Very pleased!

I started going here years ago when my. Dog was sick and the previous vet told me they could fit her in for a week. I called Platte Lake & they took her that day. She had an infection that could have caused great harm. I’ve gone there ever since and love the doctors and the staff. They are friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

the vets were thorough with their exam of my 14 yr old dog. they prescribed medication in a timely manner and my dog is happier than ever. they helped me make an informed decision regarding her care and I feel much better about those decisions. i do not worry about my pup like i used because of their care.

We have a long history with the clinic, but had a long pause after our last dod died 8 years ago. Surprise! We have a new puppy and returned to the clinic for his care. He was taken care of by a wonderfully gentle veterinarian and the entire staff.

Dr. Nelson and his staff were so compassionate and thoughtful when we had to have our senior dog put down. They went out of their way to make our sweet Lilly comfortable, but went above and beyond by providing comfort and care to our family as well. We were vacationing when we had to do this procedure, which made it harder on the family. Thank you Dr. Nelson and staff.

Best vets I’ve ever met! All the doctors and techs we’ve seen have been excellent professionals. They made extra time in their schedule when my cat got into a fight and needed immediate attention. I was also so impressed when my mom and I brought her beloved senior Labrador in to be put down. The doctor was so compassionate and caring and they even sent us a condolence card after. My dog loves coming here for the affection from the awesome staff (and the treats)

My husband and I had to put down our sweet dog, Lulu and the moment I walked through the door of Platte Lake Vet Clinic, everyone was greeting me and Lulu. They were so kind. The Vet was such a sweetheart, as well as all of the staff. I am so thankful to everyone for making Lulu's last little bit of time such a warm and comforting time and so sweet. We miss her so much, but she is no longer suffering. These sweet people seem more like friends, so much so they took the time to send us a sympathy card within a day or two. That is the only one I have been to that has ever done that. Thank you Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic for making the this time and transition so sweet and comforting!
