I had room 7 with my Buddy Andrew who's family is originally frome the area. The room honestly was better than a few "reputable casinos" in Las Vegas. Feels well maintained.Walkability: The Honor bar is across the street and offers breakfast in the morning, try the sausage links! Pizza at night was phenomenal as well as the Reuben!!

This is a great motel. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, and the most charming place. Our check in was quick and easy. The gentleman checking us in was very friendly. Once in the room I needed help with the Wi-Fi. The problem connecting was all my error and the lady helping me problem solve was very kind. I enjoyed walking barefoot on the grass along the iris flower bed which was beside our room. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water and more water pressure than my shower at home.There is not a breakfast offered which most hotels do these days. However, there was a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. We were happy to grab breakfast along the way as we started out the next day. However, if having breakfast before leaving the motel is important to you, bring along things for the refrigerator and microwave.The room was just a few steps from our car. This was a bonus for us. This is a wonderful place that we would most definitely stay at again.Rooms: The room was spacious enough for out needs. The room wasn’t huge nor was there a couch in a living area. However, this was not a problem for us. The room was perfectly sized and two chairs were provided for sitting.Safety: We felt very safe. Secure locks on the door and a seemingly safe area.Walkability: We were able to walk outside of the motel in the grassy areas. You would not, however, be walking to attractions.

We absolutely loved staying here. Not only was it impeccably clean, but the location was nice to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We loved having a little patio to sit and enjoy the beautiful summer nights. The microwave and mini fridge were also appreciated.The owner was so friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do.Honor is such a great little town. We can't wait to come back.

Had a bad experience with booking. Our friends wanted to meet up with us at a less expensive motel Friday nigh 6/9/23. We booked from two separate accounts at the advertised rate of $99. Once booked, we noticed the confirmation we both of us received showed for the Thursday night instead of the Friday night we were price shopping for. So both of us had the same issue that the date was changed. We rang the motel to make them aware that it was our opinion that there was an issue with the booking process. They told us there was no issue to change the date to the Friday. However, unbeknown to us (they did not make us aware of it) they then charged us $180 a night. I tried to follow up with the motel to discuss but they were in no way prepared to discuss.Rooms: Dark and small. Cinder access drive out back to motel rooms. Worn out.

This low-key motel had all the basics. We had a mini fridge, microwave, and flat screen. Our room had two double beds that were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a shower, pedestal sink and toilet with clean towels and small packs of soap and shampoo. The property was well maintained and the front desk was pleasant and helpful. I will definitely stay again!!!Close proximity to restaurants and drive in movie theater.

This motel keeps it simple but does so very well. The office attendant was very friendly and gave us the option up front to opt out of maid service during our short stay. The room itself is cozy and well-decorated and well-kept. While the building is quite old they've done a great job of modernizing it. It's a good combination of classic and modern. The beds are very comfortable as well. I also appreciated that they have online booking.My only complaint would be that the shower is a little cramped but given the small bathroom there's nothing they could have done about it.Here's a tip unrelated to the motel itself, if you're planning to visit Honor. There are only about four restaurants in the area and they're all small businesses. This means they're likely to close early (or entirely) on Sundays or Mondays, and close on holidays. Keep this in mind when traveling or you might end up taking an unexpected half hour drive to Traverse City for food.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was small but clean. The room would be considerably more comfortable with two easy fixes. First only one side of the bed had a bedside table. I had to put my glasses, phone etc. on the floor next me. Second there needs to be a vanity or table in the bathroom to put toiletries. There was plenty of space next to the sink but again we had to put our dopp kits on the floor. The air conditioner was fairly loud but the hotel itself is very quiet.

The perfect place for our visit to Sleeping Bear Dunes. This is a cute, small place that was very clean. It was quiet and we felt very safe there. I would definitely recommend this motel. Owner very nice and helpful. We left the Honor Motel and are spending the night tonight several hours away on the next stop of our road trip. My family and I are currently in our room at a chain hotel that reeks of smoke despite the no smoking signs everywhere. We miss u Honor Motel and not having to walk down a smelly hallway to get to our car! Honor Motel is a good place to stay if you are worried about covid, you walk a few steps from your car to your room and are by no one.

Such cute cottages!!! Our bed was super comfortable, but the other bed in the room was average/poor quality (kids slept fine on it). I love this little town, and the hotel fits in very nicely with the town. Our room had little personal touches and artwork. Very very very nice smelling and clean.

We always try to find the mom n pop places, and this one was perfect! Super clean and no funky smells in room 15.After-hours check-in is simple and hassle free. We will stay here again when we come up to Crystal Mountain.

Price is very reasonable and Chris went out of her way to be as accommodating as possible. She was very pleasant to talk to and gave information to the best of her knowledge about other businesses in town. Even though our stay was only for one night I was very pleased and would highly recommend.

Was a great hotel for our needs. Simple, well priced and clean. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but we were overall happy with our stay. The drive in to Traverse City was easy as well as to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also found the best family friendly drive in movie theater just down the road. Would definitely consider staying again im the future.

What a nice surprise. Lucky for me they had vacancy for this last minute mom to book a family trip. And WOW. Just perfect. It was very clean and neatly kept. I will admit the shower is small and literally a trickle. But if that is all to complain about, who cares. Better then no shower. Their location is ideal for all the things to do in the area. I will be back! Thank you!
