Our experience with this business was extremely positive under the circumstances. The staff was compassionate and responsive. They were professional and sympathetic. My sons mini lop (bunny) passed away this week, I called them after hours, and they responded quickly and provided a lot of helpful information. They were ready for us to bring our beloved pet to them first thing the next morning. The prices were very reasonable. They gave us a lovely certificate and made nose prints for us to keep to remember him. The service also came with the urn pictured. We chose the basic package, but they have so many options. I highly recommend Paws Upon the Heart. RIP Chuck ❤️

I called and spoke to Jake about my very first fur baby Max as he was 14 and a half. He was very helpful giving me all the information I needed to know as this was my first time going through something like this. If I needed to ask him something he was always there for me and I appreciated that very much. I just had another fur baby pass on and he is there for me again. Here's a picture of my fur babies.

I just had to put my dog, Packer to rest. I decided to do hospice care & called Harmony Pet Hospice. Dr Rees hooked me up with Paws Upon The Heart Pet Crematory. Both did an amazing job in taking care of my precious baby. I cannot thank either of them enough in making my loss more peaceful with the care they both gave. ❤

Losing a pet is never easy. Danielle was kind, compassionate and explained the package options. We had our Phoenix back within a week. Thank you for making a difficult time a little easier. (MSU did not clearly explain that Danielle even will come get your pet from them. It was worth my trip from an hour away to meet Danielle and see she is part of the funeral home.)

What an excellent team of people to work with. Jake was beyond belief! His compassion and concern were truly appreciated. They are not the typical sales team. Very professional. Since I don't drive I was able to pick up the remains from the Mt Hope location since I just live across the street. My pet was Dice. I wish I had went here the first time but my vet arranged it this time I did. Really impressed. I would highly recommend them....Far as the 2 people who gave 1 stars seems real petty after reading their reviews.

I talked to Jake and Sandra for probably 20 minutes and felt like they were just about family by the time I left. I won't go on and on about how awesome they were (even though I could), but I will say this, they are genuine and they understand the pain. It would be a mistake to go with anyone else.

When we went to drop off our dog the garage door was open and you could see the retort/cremation chamber. It was pretty disturbing and upsetting, but ignored it for the fact i was too emotionally upset about my dog passing to say anything. But when back a week later to pick up my dog's ashes, the garage door was open again!! Furious and highly disturb, I said something to the lady who brought me my dogs ashes. I told her that no one wants to see that! and they should keep the door closed. Have some respect for the people grieving!!

The entire staff was kind, compassionate, timely, responsive, and helpful during an exceptionally emotional time.Although nothing can ever replace our loved one, Paws Upon the Heart has beautiful options to bring them back home and honor them.With a custom engraving and private cremation, we had her home in a week.The office lady at the funeral home was so pleasant to speak with and I really appreciate her allowing me to share some stories about our baby.Easy to find location and parking.

We lost out fur baby of 15 years and went to Paws Upon the Heart to have him cremated. I cannot state enough how kind and caring everyone was there. They sympathized with us for our loss and were extremely caring and gentle with our pup. When he was returned to us I was so grateful at how much respect Dakota was shown. I will be forever grateful to them for their services and kindness.

Loosing my pet was an extremely traumatizing event. It was completely unexpected and I was faced with very difficult decisions. Jake was the only compassionate person during this process. I cremated my sweet 13 year old cat, Cricket, about a week ago. This place only offers private cremation, but what makes this place even more special is that they have Jacob. Jacob was in charge of the entire process, and oh my, he was phenomenal. I was beating myself so much because I felt like it's all my fault that my lovely Cricket suffered medically and eventually passed, but Jacob somehow made me feel a lot better when I left the place with Cricket's ash. He really understood what it feels like to say goodbye to my fur baby, my best friend. He didn't take his job as work. Instead, he was really there for me and even for Cricket. Not only what he told me, but also how he treated Cricket made the process a lot easier.I had called another place near by first, but because I didn't feel like they really cared about people who just lost their furry family member, I called Paws Upon the Heart next. I'm very grateful I went with this place intead of the other one.

We are beyond greatful for Paws Upon The Heart, Jake who handles all the pet cremation services is beyond amazing from helping with details, arrangements, customer service, and sincerity. Jake made the process so much easier for us. With covid restrictions at vet offices he understood our frustrations and told me what places would allow both of us with our sweet boy when the time came. We will never go to another place when our fur babies time here on earth has to end and will recommend to everyone. Gave me copies of her paw print along with a Beautiful poem that I will be framing. Compassionate and affordable. At a very difficult time, Kevin was very friendly and easy to work with. They picked my baby up from the vet's office directly so I didn't have to worry about storing or transporting her. I was pleasantly surprised by their prices. Kevin said they do private cremations in house, so everything is closely observed and there's no concern over co-mingling of cremains or mix-up of pets in transport. They also took an inked paw print of my Stella and put it on a nice document with a poem. Losing my little girl was heartbreaking, but Paws Upon the Heart made it a little easier and gave me back some beautiful keepsakes to remember her with.

Sunday September 6, 2015, a lovely patient of mine needed assistance to transition. When unable to contact our usual pet crematorium ( which is under new management) the caregivers called Paws Upon the Heart on Monday (labor day!). They were thrilled to remove their beloved dog out of their living room and were pleased at the compassion and care they received. We still have not had a return message from our usual service provider and will now strongly suggest as first choice Paws Upon the Heart . I appreciate having such an available service whenever it is needed. Death waits for no one.
