It was the most miserable experience for me, and People and Pharmacy stared at me and ignored me until I said I was here for a pick up and they pointed down towards the pick up line I paid, and then I went to buy some shampoo and went to the front counter, and there was a girl standing in front of two signs. It says next register next register was empty, so I stepped outside and she looked over at me while she was eating and said can I help you I just want to pay for those and she said oh OK do you have a CVS card? No I said and she said you really should have one.

Don't go there for pain meds without insurance, even though you have the money in hand! Plus that's your regular pharmacy! Pharmacist Sarah Denton will refuse you! Even with an electronic script from your Dr and then say it isn't discrimination against people without insurance!

We absolutely live this pharmacy. Brett and his staff goes above and beyond to take care of our medication needs and they are quite extensive!We went to rite aid for yrs the. They went down hill and Meyers is a joke!!! When they lost our business they list a lot of money. We have 50 scripts between three people then we buy tons of vitamins and also shop I ln the store. Big mistake Meyer. Meyers main office never returned a complaint call .,

As far as pharmacies go these days CVS in holt is better than most, unfortunately that doesn't mean they do a good job. It really depends on who you get if anything will actually be filled and if it is filled if it will be right. I have 2 prescriptions they continued to fill after they were discontinued and several others that I actually need that I can't get filled to literally save my life.It takes forever to speak with a real person in the pharmacy when calling and it's a 50/50 chance the phone system isn't working right and you will be stuck in automation land until you are dead and don't need the meds anymore.The wait on the phone is rivaled by how slow the drive thru is. I am pretty sure there is some time warp you enter when you pull into the parking lot. Even when I have been the only car in line expect to be there 10 minutes or more.The best I can say is they do better than Walgreens because eventually, after prayers to whatever gods and/or demons, you get some kind of meds, maybe even the right ones.

Glad I stopped having prescriptions sent here, they don't answer the phone! Honestly a company involved in "healthcare" shouldn't be allowed to profit while all their brick and mortar locations operate like part time employee

Not only is this cvs disgusting looking it’s also disgusting operationally. They let someone return a vaginal ph test kit with strips that were not individually wrapped. Then they put them back out on the shelf. That’s what I just purchased today. This is not only extremely unsanitary but irresponsible of this company. These ph test strips are literally for women to test if they have infections.

So Denise that works there …. AMAZING OUTSTANDING. , after clueless managers and 4 trips later and 20 calls back and forth , Denise got my canvas it took me 2 weeks to get , manager lied saying machine was down but really she didn’t know how to do them , secondly Denise stayed after her shift to make sure I had them that same day !!! She was very amazing that’s what good customer service is and looks like !!! She deserves a pay raise for sure , the mangers there are just as clueless as the other works there that mope around . But Denise on the other hand was willing to do whatever it took to get me my pictures !!!

Hello! I went to my location yesterday, in Holt Michigan, at 9:55pm. The doors were locked. I desperately needed medication for my very sick 2 year old. I had to drive to a not safe area of town, by myself, to get him medication. I had to go back to CVS this morning for more medication. I spoke to a manager about my issue and she defended the practice saying that they lock them early because they don't get paid past 10pm. This practice is absolutely unacceptable. If your store closes at 10pm, those doors do not get locked before 10pm. I left my crying son to drive 1 mile down the road to take care of his medical needs. What should have been a 5 minute errand turned into over 30. You're mission statement is as followed “to improve the lives of those we serve by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe, affordable and easy to access.” Locking the doors before close does not support that statement. I am extremely disappointed that money comes before the customer.

Was here to pick up medication recently that I was told would be ready the evening after I dropped the script off only for it not to be ready and be get nothing but a ton of excuses as to why it wasn't. This pharmacy also had some new and very in poorly trained and inadequate staff working that had not a clue as to what they were doing one of which was a new pharmacist who ended up having to refund me for the script after he filled it after I waited well over an hour because he didn't pay enough attention and read it and fill it right the first time. Also seen a lady there tell them to transfer her stuff to another pharmacy because of such inadequacy as well.the two regular pharmacist they have usually always had there have been great,but they were not around and it shows they suffer when staff is new and they are short.

DO NOT GO HERE! I was told three different things about my son’s prescription only to find out it’s out of stock not discontinued. The staff there are incompetent and because of them my son ran out of his medicine while dealing with all this nonsense.

I don't know who I talked to but the pharmacist was pretty rude. I try and have empathy but with how difficult it is to navigate our healthcare system and having medical issues already makes one more rude or unhelpful person just that much more tiresome and aggravating. Please do better.

Rarely shop here. Cashier said to sign up for the care pass, easy to cancel she said, you’ll save money she said. Said it’s easy to cancel. Well now I’ve been charged 4 extra months in a row. I’ve called them 4 times and requested it to be canceled. Just got charged today. Guess it’s chargeback time as they won’t cancel. I don’t recommend signing up for their care pass unless you want to have it forever.

First time filling script at cvs. Pharmacist came out and said something about script for 16, but 20 pills, filled it for 16 pills. I said okay and paid. I get through 2 of the 4 days and realize i am short a pill. I count 15 and it says they gave me 14, i am short one pill to finish my script. So i call, and they fill me for remaining 6, no response to why they shorted me for my script. It cost me $10 more dollars, and they didn't care for their mistake at all. Found out the doctor didn't prescribe me 20, but the 16. I will not be going back due to their incompetency and unwillingness to right their wrong.

They said they don't take our insurance & they'd send over the scripts to Rite Aid. Later go to pick up scripts at Rite Aid & CVS had forgotten to send them over. Came back again later & CVS had only sent one out of two of my scripts to Rite Aid.

I had such positive experience with Kylee at this location. Not only was she incredibly friendly but she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She always smiles when I come in and greets me cheerfully. When I picture great customer service, Kylee is a great example of what i see!

Jennifer in the pharmacy is the most unfriendly, cold and non-interactive staff member at this CVS. I don't know her story, but as a customer facing employee, she could learn a few lessons about acting human and not a Stony faced automaton. The rest of the staff are freaking awesome sauce!

Went to CVS tonight being sicker than I have been in years. They noticed I wasn’t myself and helped me right away instead of waiting the normal prescription fill time. This CVS has such a family feeling. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I am so impressed I am writing a review when I can barely function.

The guy going to school to be a pharmacist is the rudest person ever in a drug store. I’m filing a compliant. My mediation is important & so are others. I want him gone. I don’t care if he doesn’t finish. He needs to learn there’s consequences in life & I just became his biggest one. It’s one thing to be rude to me but grandma or mother. There’s a problem. I want him fired!!! One too many times & I’m fed up!!! I’m going to CVS cooperate if I have to. You don’t treat people in need of medicine like that.

I took my daughter to the dentist and they phoned in a prescription to CVS pharmacy in Holt. This is not my normal pharmacy but I figured since they had already called it in I would go there. The lady who came to the window was extremely rude and told me they were still working on it and they had barely just gotten the prescription. She spoke in a very rude manner asking me if I even had my insurance with me, when I gave it to her she says we don’t even bill this insurance so either it’s $14.99 or you need to go across the street to Rite Aid. I told her I would go across the street to Rite Aid she put my card back in the drawer pushed it out and walked away from the window. I will NEVER go to this pharmacy again.

They price gouge for everything, isopropyl alcohol 91% is around $5 here, everywhere else is around $2.50. Prescriptions are the same way, a script I had sent here they wanted $300 to fill, took it to Costco and I paid $25. CVS also pays to have map ads overlaying their stores so that people cant click them to easily review, the entire place is setup to scam people who don't understand they have a choice in who they do business with.

Horrible service this week from Ethan and the pharmacist that was there. Never have I dealt with a pharmacist that was so rude after he gave the wrong medication. Definitely miss the regular pharmacy staff!!

Called my mothers Herat medication in to the store, was told it would be a few hours until they could get to it.Few hours later I go in and they don’t even know what I’m talking about. They never called the other pharmacy to get the transfer they never reach out to me to inform me that they couldn’t fulfill their job.

I went in on Oct, 10, 2019, to pick up meds for my cat, was told 2 hours, waited until Mon. 10-14-19. no meds, was told be in the next day still no meds, now I'm out of meds for my cat, went to wallgreens and picked it up that day, won't ever go into CVS , again, also their very RUDE

been coming here for years for all my prescriptions! All the pharmacists and clerks are so friendly and down to earth. They know me upon site and recognize my voice if I call. It's a wonderful, small town pharmacy, even in a chain store!

My husband and I grew up and currently live in Holt so we have both gone here for prescriptions for as long as we can remember. There are a few staff members who are very unfriendly but for the most part they are very helpful and friendly.I do however think the landscaping there is horrendous! The beds are full of weeds as tall as my car! Put some effort inot your curb appeal. You can tell that round up was sprayed on them but then you just left them there half dead. Pay a professional to take care of it if the staff won't do it.

These people have never been less than efficient and helpful. My family has been going there for years to fill prescriptions and the pharmaceutical staff on hand is beyond professional as well knowledgeable. Highly recommend using this location for your medical needs.
