I went to this place on Friday. I was offered $250 dollars for what I had. I told them that I’d like to check a couple other places before I sell. I went to 2 other place. The second place I went to offered me the same amount. So I decided to wait until Monday and go back to American Jewelry and loan out of respect because they offered first and they are located in my hometown. 2 days later, on Monday, they only offer me $80 and act like I’m crazy for asking for $250. I honestly believe they are just making prices up daily. I recommend you save your self time and go somewhere that will not treat you like you’re stupid. I’m going to post in my community page as well so that I can let my fellow Hazel Parker’s know. I will never stop telling people this story. Be better.

I purchased a Nintendo switch OLED and the guy Anthony that was doing the sale with me was very kind and patient. It's nice having good customer service for once. To the owners of American Jewelry and Loan (Les) i hope your treat your employees well ,🙏 they deserve it .

Rodney and the rest of the staff at American Jewelry and Loan were very friendly, and efficient. They were very knowledgeable about their inventory and courteous to everyone. Our first trip to American Jewelry and Loan was great! The gentleman that greeted us had us laughing as soon as we walked in the door, and Brejae was so friendly! We ended up purchasing a couple of items and the transactions were so easy. Prices were great too! We'll definitely be back!

Even though AJ&L were not interested in majority of the items that we brought in, my mom and I had a great time. Brejae was very knowledgeable and we appreciated the time she took explaining their process. It was a pleasant experience to be turned down by Brejae 😀

Bought an electric bike from them. Had to go back twice since it had to be charged before I could try it but everyone was very helpful and I got a good deal in the end. Would definitely buy from them again.

There are always genuinely friendly and quick with service. If it’s something they don’t have they always look for another location for you and call ahead to make sure they have it. They also actually research the products for you.

The American jewelry store is at the top for customer service and all items you might need for your self, friend or family. The staff have improved over the years and it's a great place to shop. Recently, the new employees are very aggressive and don't have enough knowledge to make decisions on receiving products. You can go to Motor City and get better prices and customer service. If you think this is not true tested and you will not regret it.
