Happened a month ago. Just editted. I have always been a regular customer here and never really had any issues. Tonight was so bad that I'm going to go talk to whoever I need to tomorrow to about what happened. The night manager that was there needs to be fired. She purposefully gave me change back and I didn't notice it at first because how she handed it to me but she gave me money with blood all over it. I had to get gas and they wouldn't take it and told me to take it back. I did and she refused to give me clean money while acknowledging what she did. I said "Why would you do that to somebody?" She said "someone handed it to me so I handed it out to whoever would take it" and continued to make excuses to not give me clean money. She said "Well you took it didnt you?" I said "Yea you handed it to me upside down, and your gunna give that to someone and whatever is in that blood and put it in someone's family?" She said to "leave and come back tomorrow or that I had to buy something to open the register." I wouldn't and called her a btch. Idc that was a btch move and quite disgusting act on her part not just the money. So She called the cops on me and the cops came. They made her give me clean money after I showed them how bad it was and told them what happened and what she was saying. They even thought it was disgusting because of how much blood was on it. They even talked about money legally being destroyed that is like that. She admitted to the cops she gave me that money too. There is a law that talks about harming people with bodily fluids. Her name was Ann I think. She said she was the night manager and key holder. She has square glasses and dark brown medium length hair. I took pictures of the money. She is really ignorant and doesn't care about the customers at all. She needs to be fired. And if she doesn't than I guess I won't be going there anymore. You guys cycle out employees so much there is only a couple regular employees. So im sure losing her wouldnt be a problem for them. Like I said, I never had a problem there before. My family knows the one nice lady whose been managing the DGs in our area for years. I always forget her name but she's cool.

I found this Dollar General to be typical of other stores. Decent layout, good prices, etc.

This DG is hardly ever real busy! Perfect spot for people avoiding Covid! It had plenty of stock and good people working! Good safe people:)

Poor customer service,instead of helping the customer standing in front of you,the limited cashier felt it was more important to stock up cigarettes, incompetentence starts at the highest level and works it way down, the manager needs to learn what customer service means.

Walked in and was almost pushed out the doors as I didn’t know they were closing. Blonde old woman with the nasty attitude could have been nicer, placed wreaked of weed as I popped in. Thanks for the heads up, felt like garbage from those few seconds I was in.

The store was stocked like an over stock discount outlet.....made my seemingly quick in and out on the go mom delema needs short the convince in the store part at zero... no rolling tobacco product papers😒 then the working American (in the general public) cashier that with a little people skills and general relatability or helpful inviting customer service experience in her job skills set could have made none of this dissatisfying enough to remember 🤔🙄 happened to be rude and not at all anymore pleasent to my sister when she came in with a friend as i was leaving we both felt invaluable as customers🤨

The dollar general store in Greenville mi is one the cleanest store I have been in the employee's was very helpful also great customer service. Thank you to the all staff at this store.

2:30PM08-17-21I went in for only two items. As I walked in I saw two female workers who were chatting playing on there phones. As I walked up to the register after grabbing my items one of the female workers (older women that has glasses) didn’t even acknowledge me. She finally did but never said one word to me! Not even my total absolutely nothing. As she proceeds the other female worker pulled her phone out in front of the other women’s face to show her a Facebook message. She stopped what she was doing with me and literally ignored me and they both started chatting about “a past coworker who worked at DG who thought she was on drugs”. I don’t know but I didn’t even wait for my receipt and just walked out. So unprofessional.

I went there for a can of tuna fish, 4 workers just standing around while im at the register, no communication, nothing? Then the 4th worker rung me up with no, hello, thank you, that was weird! A friendly hello goes along way especially when you wasting peoples time.

Store itself is not bad. Employees here are not very helpful. Was there around 4pm, and the cashier had a line of 6 people, and the other employee, who I would assume is the manager, stood there by the other register, on his cell phone. He was even asked by another customer if he could open his register, and he replied with, 'Its not open right now'.

Well here goes the scoop that I experienced this happened a few days ago , I was fighting with " if you can't say anything good don't say anything at all " , but I figured that the public should know , I was going to go in the store with my mobility scooter and I was stopped and told rather rudely that I can't come in with it I said but its a mobility scooter and the lady , I assume was manager said even more crabby that I can't come in well needless to say that made my blood boil so I punched the door and left !! And that was my first and last dealings with this store and its fruitcake manager !!

I always love coming into the store because the cashiers are always so helpful and kind.I recently sprained my ankle and have to get around on crutches.I came in to the store and the one cashier didn’t hesitate to ask to help me get the things I needed.She carried my basket for me and ran all around the store to get the things I needed.I appreciate people like that...you did your good deed for the day.Thanks Dollar General you rock!!

I don't recommend working or shopping at this dollar general the boss is rude to employees and customers. You get in trouble for not covering her shift because "she doesn't want to work" she's bean reported and nothing has happend.

The store is disgusting. It never looks clean. There are multiple employees that never seem to actually be working. The manager is very rude when it comes to addressing issues. -10/10. Wouldn’t recommend. Take the drive to go to a different store
