I just wanted to share the experience I had yesterday on my visit to Lowes because I have never had quite as good of an experience at a hardware store. We came in with the intention of buying shades for our windows of our new home. Linda came to assist us and said let me do some math & asked for our measurements and asked for a photo of the windows- we showed her and she said I am confident these will not work for what you are hoping to do & I would hate to cut these and them not work & also not be returnable. I SO appreciate her level of expertise & also care for me as a customer to not allow me to spend the money and lose it. She gave me a bracket and told me to go home and check if it fit in the space and guess what!? It did not fit! So now thankfully we are not out hundreds of dollars & we can find something that better fits the space. We then were looking for shelving for our pantry & Brandon was walking by & asked if we needed help. He took us exactly where we needed to go, asking questions about the project to make sure we got the right materials & helped us find everything else on our list while also telling us about the MVP rewards and how we could save some extra money. He also talked about how Lowe's really does take care of their employees & how much he loves his job, which was obvious with the two interactions we were lucky to have there with the employees. On our way home we talked about how great the experience was & how we would take the extra miles to go to this Lowes again. Just wanted to be sure they were recognized for how much they helped us & also wanted to say thanks again Linda & Brandon.

Lawn & Garden associate Mike is the bomb! First he appeared busy yet still stopped and asked if I've been helped yet at the key machine. Then he helped me find the one item I went there for. But most importantly even got lift equipment to get it down from the overhead himself! I left super happy that's for sure. The store has a large assortment of items, clean, and has wonderful bright lighting.

I love Lowes stores. Their app needs TONS of work to get as good as the Home Depot app.I like Lowes store more than Home Depot. However, the Lowes app is just not good compared to the Home Depot app. Their app inexplicably doesn't work on my Galaxy Tab S7+. It used to work, then one day it said the device is no longer supported. There are just a bunch of little annoying things like that, which do not plague the Home Depot app.

The people at the store are fantastic and very eager to help with the problems I had with the mobile app. I wantedThe mobile app and delivery scheduling is completely messed up. My order was cancelled without notice and my delivery was delayed by two days because of it. Luckily I had the sliding patio door scheduled for two days before I planned to install it otherwise it would have been a major issue.Overall the door installed great and turned out fantastic, the customer was very happy with it overall.

We have spent many thousands of dollars at this store. Most recently, we purchased a dryer and only used the Lowe's credit card to save 5% and were going to pay it off immediately. We did just that and we found out they didn't apply it correctly and said they would fix it. We went through this process 3 times. By the end of it, they said they cannot apply our huge over payment for the month to that transaction until the transactions that had fixed payments were paid off first. So, now we are forced to pay interest on a dryer for years, until the other items are paid off first. Our minimum payment is supposed to be $135/month. We pay at least $400-500/month, but the last month we paid over $1500, and were told it would apply how we asked. Our last resort was to ask the Lowe's store to return the dryer (not physically return it, just return it in the system so we can pay with our debit card) and this was only 3 weeks after purchasing the dryer. They were going to look into it and get back to us. They NEVER GOT BACK TO US and now it's been over 30 days since the transaction and there's nothing we can do. We will never come to Lowe's again and will use other building stores. We are so frustrated that we got screwed over! As if they don't already make enough money off of us.

Delivery drivers are rude and barely speak English. I had an issue with the drivers dropping my mower off and cursing at me in Spanish because they were either too lazy or too dumb to understand instructions. Went back to lowes and filed a complaint with management in which he said they have a lot of problems with the third party delivery service. He then stated to fill out a complaint with corporate which they never responded.

Normally not working in Grand rapids area I've never been to this Lowe's. I was here three times in two days, each time store is staffed to the max but no one can help check you out. I sat at the pros desk for 5 minutes with employees everywhere and no one asked to help check me out, there were no lights on at any registers, I brought all my oversized lumber down to the self checkout where there was no register lights on also. After asking an employee how to check out with such large material, he said the pro's desk can do it. After walking all the way back down to the other side of the store, the gentleman said his register was open even though he never said anything to me While i was waiting previously, then he said his light was out on his register. You work at a home improvement store and you can't find a light bulb?Worst customer service and employees I've seen in a long time. All time low for Lowe's.

My first time doing a DIY shelving. I decided to go to Lowe' and as i was looking around feeling lost, I instantly greeted by Kyle. He was super helpful and made great recommendations on what I'd need for shelving. Once done with the wood selections, Kyle made sure I connected with Braydn, whom continued helping me with cutting the woods. Thank you both for providing excellent services!

I went in to ask questions/discuss a quote for vinyl flooring and installation. The gentleman working the area asked me if I needed help, and I told him I was hoping to discuss flooring. He was instantly so rude and off putting. I was appalled, especially when I plan on spending thousands of dollars for this specific service. The day before, I went to Home Depot and received excellent service - the employee sat down with me to answer all of my questions and gave me a professional quote. I had such a great experience there! I will definitely be taking my business to Home Depot.

I called to speak with a manager about confirming an interview with them. Noone knew how to find out if they could confirm it and they were so unprofessional when answering the phone I wanted to hang up right away. I've never dealt with such rudeness in all my life.

I started thinking Lowe’s would be a great choice to install my new fence. I spent $8600 to have them install 200 feet vinyl fence. First is they accidentally canceled my order and I waited five months for the install then the install happened and they couldn’t get gate hardware installed anyway the gate was poorly installed and blew down in the wind within one week of install. Five more months of calling the installation manager, the general manager of the Grandville store associate managers and no one would fix my problem finally Lowe’s delivered two new gates and the hardware. The installer even said he would come out the next day to fix them and put them up even though it had been a total of 10 months since I originally paid for the fence I was pleased it was getting fixed. The installer told me that they were going to install the new fence and the gate hardware and fix the problems with the original gate, I left for a few minutes and when I returned in 15 minutes he installed the old gate that was broken. He installed the hardware and took all the supplies with him. I’m shocked and appalled at Lowe’s as a company. Is this bad at working with installers and doing a proper job for their customers . I guess arbitration my next step.

Been on hold for a manager for over 45 minutes, and then they hung up on me. Called back again and no manager has time to talk to me. I bought a washer mid September, spent over 900.00 on sale. It lasted a little over two months and now completely dead, doesn't even get power. Called lowes, said not their problem. It's now the manufacturer problem. Maytag had repair people out twice and canceled our most recent appointment to get it fixed. Been without washer for over a month and lowes couldn't care less. How can you sell to the consumer and not even remotely care about the products you sell them???Spent over two hours on the phone for help and received not one once of help. Calling local news for help with shady company and their practices. Lowes responds back to my review. I did what they asked, on hold forever, once again! They have to know who i need to talk with, i have no idea, just another huge disappointment, What a shame.

The associate at the pro desk did not have the product knowledge that I needed when trying to purchase Trex decking and associated components. He also struggled with the computer, making my transaction take over 20 minutes!, and ended up removing the $60 delivery discount that he agreed to offer. I'll have a hard time going back here again. Super disappointed in Lowes.

DANGEROUS appliance installs!Ordered a brand new washer and dryer with install.Crew 1 (delivery): Didn't bother to install the dryer exhaust hose at all.Crew 2: Installed the hose with a hole at the connection between the flexible hose and rigid vent evident by a whistling sound on the first test which the crew didn't bother with. When I went out to the truck and showed them this picture they handed me "heavy tape" which of course didn't work.Crew 3: TBDHad a similar problem with Home Depot. Apparently shady installers are the norm with big box stores.BUY FROM A LOCAL STORE! Learn from my mistake.

If I could give zero stars I would. When attempting to give Lowes a 2nd chance for a carpet installation after a previous debacle and informing them of this.. the "kid" on the phone literally told me "well maybe you should just call somebody else" and hung up! Really? This is how you treat your customers? Well I did just that and went to their competitor! However I called management to complain... never heard back. Will never again use Lowe's for any installation jobs and have spread the word to anyone looking for a recommendation since I'm in the interior design industry! Really pathetic service!

Wish I could leave zero stars! I purchased a fence through Lowes with installation. I was extremely disappointed! Installation took almost 2 weeks due to the contractor starting and stopping on my job multiple times and left the supplies scattered all over each time. The first delay was because Lowes didn't drop off all the material. Then the contractor had vehicle issues and couldn't come out for multiple days or was working on other projects, not sure. In the end, I was left with installation debris, cigarette butts, a 4 foot gate instead of an 8 foot as order and post without caps. I will not be doing business with Lowes again and will tell anyone doing home improvement projects to steer clear!

I visited the outdoor plant area today, I looked at the quality and couldn't believe how poorly everything was taken care. I even talked with two employees about the wilted condition of the plants and they said it wasn't their department. The pictures are the new items and are not on clearance. Even the sod was yellow and dying.

Oh my goodness where do I start. Johnathan in the appliance desk was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our dryer just went out it was 45 years old and we had in mind what we wanted and he came over and asked us the right questions. He did not push us at all for trying to buy anything, he scanned the barcode to see if they had the one we wanted in stock and it said it did, but he took the time to go back and look to see if it was truly there. Well it wasn't back there so he got us one ordered and it was delivered on Friday the 13th. Johnathan was so helpful and very nice to our son also who was just along all kinds of questions and just being himself.

We were ready to buy an electric snowblower but we couldn't find an employee to assist us. We finally found an employee who was not interested is helping us. He told us they come preassembled and walked off. We couldn't find the batteries or charger that came with the snowblower. We eventually found another employee told us it comes in the box only to be told later that the batteries are kept at customer service. Customer service had no clue what we were talking about and called for another employee to find the batteries for us. After a 20 minute wait, they only found one battery and no charger. We left without purchasing anything.

Do not purchase a washer from Lowe's if you have copper pipes because they will not install it for you. It would have been nice to know this before I made the purchase. Also I was told if there was any type of corrosion they won't install them either. They delivered my washer and now I'll have to find someone else to hook it up. I'm not happy Lowe's!

Never EVER think of having Lowes build a deck for you. It has been ONE YEAR that they have been "building" our deck (mostly doing nothing, obviously) and it's still not done. They've left boxes of materials outside only to do nothing with them, and I continue to make call after call with NO result. Very frustrating. I'm in the process of having WZZM 13 On Your Side do a story about this.

Great store, had a good price on Krud kutter an all purpose cleaner I highly recommend, also found a blue PowerCap lighted LED hat I have been looking for as it matches my work uniform and is a necessary tool. The employees were kind and helpful.

I generally find the store prices less expensive than other comparable box stores.Today I had an exceptional experience with a gentleman in the paint area. Biff went out of his way to be helpful, showing me exactly where supplies were and answering all my questions.THANK YOU, Biff!
