I remember when this place used to be affordable to the community and now it's way overcharging on everything. Salad dressing...5 dollars. Jar of pickles....5 dollars. Pack of cheese slices.....5 dollars. TV dinner.....5 dollars. EVERYTHING seems to be 5 bucks except the meat that was only 10.97 for one and a half pounds smh. Check expiration dates the Italian sausage was all expired by 2 weeks and their canned garlic is expired.

Love their cold cut sandwiches, very reasonably priced. I pick up a packed 4 for $8.99, and use them for lunches!

Nice urban grocery store - prices for most goods aren't horrible, though they tend to be a bit marked-up when compared to other places - though I've found them more competitive when it comes to meat and produce. In this case, it's all about location, location, location. It's incredibly convenient to be able to pop here quick when there's some ingredient I don't have. I appreciate that there's bike parking out front, though I with they were more of the permanently installed U-style bike racks instead of the grid-style rack they currently have.

Well organized and stocked. Easy to find everything I needed.Especially good for reduced price meats that are within a day or two of expiration. Bought a beef roast for $4 earlier today.

Customer service is always great. Always greeted with a hello.👌 I love the meat counter and the veggies are always fresh. I always get the fajita meat and the extra garlic kielbasa.

They charge almost $8/lbs for carnitas and give you a bunch of cartilage and bone with it 🤢. Man at the deli is rude.

Waited forever to use the bathroom. Door was locked so I thought someone was using it. Turns out you need to ask for a key. How are people supposed to know that without a sign?

Just found this gem ❤️ huge selection...amazing meat market counter and packed meat area!! Clean and stocked with dry, freezer and cold fridge items!!! Very easy to shop and someone else checked you out - no self check out!!! Won't be going Meijer anytime soon!!!!! Shop and enjoy!

I’ve always been a meijer/horrocks shopper - I always thought that breaking the bank meant quality product so I justified the amount I spent my whole life. But oh my god, after visiting Ralph’s for the first time for quick trip, I am excited to go back! They had an amazing selection, a clean and stocked store, and amazing prices. The employees were so friendly and informed me that Tuesday there are buy one get one tacos and discounted bakery items (ex. Bread). I will not be shopping anywhere else!

Great for a short run to pick up some groceries without having to drive to a bigger store. Has amazing products I haven't seen anywhere else AND they have freshly made tamales! What more could you ask for? We will be making regular stops here. Ralph's rocks!

I love their fajita meat and the kielbasa. Their remodel looks really nice. I also love their tres leches cakes you can buy in the cooler. Friendly staff too!

My family has ALWAYS gone to Ralph’s (even before when it was another store/different name) for their polish sausage (polish kielbasa). They always had the best tasting polish sausage/kielbasa to our family.We just went there today (Thursday 9-2-2021), and we bought some polish sausage/kielbasa.My dad opened up one of the packages and said it SMELLED SO BAD!When picking out the packages we bought, one bag was only dated to the 3rd (tomorrow). But it also was discolored, which is why we didn’t buy it.Anyways, the stuff we DID buy was also discolored but we didn’t think of it until later (it looked “normal” compared to the other package).We ended up having to throw away like a lot of money in polish sausage. (OBVIOUSLY, we didn’t eat it since we didn’t want to chance getting food poisoning.)This place used to be THE place, the ONLY place that we’d buy our polish sausage/kielbasa from FOR YEARS. But sadly, now, it looks like we’re going to have to try to find another place to buy from.

I don't go there very much. I like that they added an addition to serve more product. The one concern I have is the dairy area. Definitely could use a good cleaning. The shelves were pretty gross.

Always happy with their meat selection. Some of the best values in town. Everyone loves their fresh kielbasa!Update: still shop there, but prices have gone up on many items. Vegetables are higher priced ( celery has been$2.99 for months. Cheaper at Family Fare) although it seems like the Mexican items, cilantro, avocado, cactus, tortillas etc are now less expensive. Bananas came back down also. Also appears they are downsizing the $1 items. Haven't given up on them yet!Also not allowing the public to use the restroom is a bad move. I stop there on my way home usually, and sometimes count on using it. Now sometimes skip stopping there because of that.Thank God they didn't change the Kielbasa!!

Very bad experience in this store. I would never go in this store to shop. I bought meats, limes and one pack tortillas. I look at my receipt and i see they charge for other things i never bought. I call the store and ask for the manager the lady say there were no manager at the store i went back to the store and i ask fir the manager again and he came assist me. He was nice but the cashier who charge me kept laughing and having a attitude like everything was funny. I ask the manager why they charge me for those things I didn't bought and the cashier answer was someone left their stuff their and left and she thought it was mine too. I got my refund back. Never again will go to the store

The store itself its great! Nice and clean with great affordable prices with great SERVICE!!Beyond that, it does not feel safe to come around, specially with children! The cashier was nervous HERSELF with the strange customers coming in and out of the store!For some REASON, the area doesn't feel safe at all!!! It might be better off visiting here maybe before 5 pm!!!

I love this place for meat! Great selection and rock bottom prices. It is a relatively small store but has a large are for meat and deli. I just bought 3 large pork shoulders and 20 lbs of chicken today. Be sure to stop here!!

They’ve got all the groceries you need but they’re clearly price gouging the downtown Grand Rapids community who can’t afford to travel out to Meijer, most of which are poor people of color. Everything’s cheaper at the dollar store so I’d go there first and then buy whatever else you absolutely need to at Ralph’s.

Great little local grocery store. Granted a lot of the food is aimed at the Hispanic population (I can't understand Spanish) but the food is always high quality and delicious! Try the premixed chicken and beef fajita mixes. Always on point!!

The meat is good!! So many varieties and I'm picky with the meat I eat. People are friendly. Only bad is expensive. It's worth it to buy a couple things like Mexican taco meat that's all ready mixed with spices and veggies

Preferred it the way it was.Nice small local grocery store with friendly associates.Now they have expanded the store size.The newer cashier's are not as friendly.The prices were/are high but it's worth it for the convenient location.It was great before now it's just okay.

I walked in here to see if they sold single stamps since I needed a few. I was greeted at the door right away from the cashier that was closest to me. She was very nice and I asked her about the stamps. She directed me to the counter that appeared to be like a service desk area. I quickly bought my stamps and went shopping to browse around and compare prices. The store was clean and had been remodeled since the last time I was in there yrs ago. But the produce prices were good and I bought some serrano chillies for only just over a dollar a lb. Most stores are $3 to 4$ a lb ,so of course I bought some lol but they have a wide variety of groceries for such a small store. I'll be going back there again just for the service I recieved alone. Also their chorizo sausage they make here is just great! Cheapest around and great taste and quality meat. I love this store. Stop in if you have the time. A must go.Update Edit for 2/23/2021going from a 5 star to 3 now because of a lady in the eatery there.So I have been going here for over a year now. On Tuesdays they have their buy one get one free of their amazing tacos, I always get the combo also with beans & rice which bought together is 3$. So today 2 people told me they don't do that. I said look it says beans & rice combo meaning you get both if it said beans or rice then they are separate. She said well thats all we do one or the other. So then why do you have a posted sign that states otherwise? And also then just order them separate for 1.99 each.The loint is yoi get both to save a dollar. I was upset for sure. Not the point that I was even overcharged the extra dollar but I know I'm right. I've never seen this girl there before so I hope in the future she isn't there when I goSince she doesn't know what's shes doing. And being the customer she should of just gave it to me for what it stated but nope she argued and then was saying something about me when I left. Wow..thanks for nothing. I still bought then but next time if shes there I won't be spending my money on someone that was callus and kinda rude. You'll just lose the money I would of spent. Just super disappointed for sure.

This the 2nd time shopping there..I like the store alot...It is small but lots of items to shop for. They have a meat dept. were you are able to pick your meats. They have fresh donuts that are to die for . There customer service is awesome ..

I am really seeking and building a relationship with you as my small town grocery store. Yesterday was my first complete shopping experience. I had been intrigued by one prior time visit by your prices and selection. Wow, I returned today for an amazing gift idea and like many people - I came for one purpose and thirty three dollars later, my daughter pulled me out for home. She was also so very impressed with our experience today. Love this Market It was also my Dad’s favorite! He would always come home with Christmas Sausages and Easter Sausages on the Holidays and No one could get enough. Dad’s been gone now will be 4 yrs this January. It’s time to bring his tradition back I’m sure it would make him so happy😀.Cant wait either it’s so yummy!!!
