I always enjoy shopping at Meijer. We did catch it on a day when stock was quite low, especially in the produce area. That is not typical however, probably just an extra big holiday rush.

I came in here at 5:50 when they open at 6 but they were letting people in which I greatly appreciated. Also seeing the shelves be faced and look so nice was amazing. I stopped and looked for a good minute. I was able to get everything I needed and everyone was so nice and energetic for it be so early in the morning.

Because of medical conditions I use the order online for pickup. Great service!! Grateful that Meijer offers this service. And if they make mistake...they give you a $15 coupon!!

Good selection of produce and if you keep your eyes on sales (and the cashier...) you can typically get a good deal too. Shop sales...

I purchased some codfish in the store. Put it inside. My cooler in my truck. Got home in four minutes. Open the fish up. It was still chilled. But it was rotten. this is not the first time this situation has happened with other products from meijers Their quality control needs to be well looked at and I have been shopping at meijers for 58 1/2 years and I will never purchase another product from Meijers ever.

Wait 40 minutes in line with my elderly mother to be told to get back in line which already was still in the main drive.Meijer chooses to run one window only.There are two. We'll use one thank youReasons.Customers don't matter to meijer.They had our money. No urgency to make us right. Pull around Thomas says, or bring your ill 83 year inside.Want to see how much they care, watch the checkout lanes. If, they have more than 2 lanes open they assuredly put the most lackadaisical folks available.

We were in G.R. for a doctor's appointment so we decided to use there self check out at Meijer's and we'll stick with our store in Fremont. There self check out lady is kind and very helpful. She's always smiling. We will continue to use our Fremont store. G.R. people were cold .

It's just sad any Meijer I go into is always throwing out plants even if they are perennials meaning they come back every year ... I offered to buy the ones in the trash for discount price but It turns out if they are thrown out they mark em off and get money back sad the value of life means nothing... All life matters!!!!

I’m not from the Grand Rapids area so when I was staying here, I needed to stop at a grocery store and knowing that Meijer headquarters is nearby, I was excited to go inside this Meijer assuming that this location was going to either be a testing ground for new technology or floorplans, etc. etc. OR maybe it would just be the nicest Meijer I’ve ever been in. To my surprise, neither were true terrible floorplan with big center columns, lined up in the center of the front main aisle by the checkouts, making it impossible for two carts to pass each other at the same time (simple fix, make the checkouts, 3 feet longer, putting the columns at the end of each check out, pushing the main aisle 3 feet into the clothing section). This location is also outdated and desperately in need of a renovation and update. This location was dirtier than most, but I did not meet a single rude employee so an extra star for that

I put pickup orders in so after a long day at work I can stop by, grab it, and get home to my animals. But apparently the people working pickup just leave when they want and short hand the department according to the person working. I waited over an hour for my order even though I put it in 8 hours prior. I could have went in and got it myself in much less time. 6 cars came and went while waiting and I only had 9 items in my order. I think I'm switching meijers, I can drive to plainfield and back in this amount of time. An hour in my car for 9 items... that's ridiculous. This is the 3rd time it's happened too. I'm so sick of this place going downhill, you need to fix your system or don't offer pickup.Honestly the only saving have was the person who brought my order out, he was pretty amazing. Wish I got his name, great customer service!

I came into Meijer this morning and mind you I am handicapped and walk with a cane I came into the front entrance and went to the first motorized cart. As i reached for it, the handicapped greeter told me not to use the first cart, but the carts parked farther back. When i asked if the cart was broke or charging i was told no it wasnt. I realized i was being discriminated against due to my age not my disability. Mejiers has become a rather unpleasant store to shop at.

The pharmacy. Please Meijer hire more people!!!1: why is one lane open2: waiting 45 minutes 3 days in a row to get meds because you got text saying your meds were ready only to find nope, they are really ready they are in fact out of stock or insurance will not cover. Not cool.

I frequent this location for work purchases and it holds up quite well. I do find myself getting fairly lost though. It's quite clean, which can't be said for all locations.

Vary disappointment in the lack of stock the last three weeks. Also when you look on line and it tells you the items are in stock. You go there and they’re not in stock. Takes you Twenty minutes to be able to use self check out. Family fare is looking to be a better place to shop.

Ordering groceries online is not a pleasant experience. Sometimes when you add something to the cart, a red box pops up and says error adding to cart. Often I miss this and think the item is in the cart. Other times they will send a notification saying the order is ready and to approve/reject substitutions. This part is fine but the thing that annoys me most is when they don't tell you something wasn't found. Like I ordered two dozen eggs and I knew it was in my cart because I double checked. How is there no eggs at Meijer? They need to fix their super glitchy system. Walmart is so much better but they rarely have same day pick up available. Otherwise I have never had these problems with the Walmart pickup. They always make sure you get your items.

The pharmacist was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions.However....The lines to check out were so long and uneccessary, even the self checkout line was super long.This checkout mess made my husband and I go to Walmart instead for a new laundry bag.

I drive for a local food delivery service and sometimes I have a shop and pay order. It’s important to my customers, my company and to me that I completely fill my customers’ orders with all requested products. On 11/1/23 an Alpine Meijer employee at the self checkout area ran all the way down the bank of checkout stands to find me a particular snack item my customer requested. The employee’s name is Lori MC and she was so helpful to me. Way to go, Meijer. Makes me happy to come back! Thanks, Lori!

I love meijer but I am frustrated with my recent experience. I ordered a tv online on 11/25 (black Friday deal) to pick up curbside on 11/26. My order was successful and I received my confirmation email. I ordered from the Alpine store because the item was “in stock” contrary to the “out of stock” memo I received earlier in the day while shopping in store at the 44th st Meijer (looking to buy this exact tv). Sadly, I received a “Heads up! Your order has been cancelled” text 3 hours before my scheduled pick up time. I went in store later in the day and it turns out the item was out of stock and there was nothing the costumer service attendant could do. Definitely super frustrated with this experience and wouldn’t recommend shopping online at Meijer. 0/5 stars.

Zero checkouts open at 9pm.Self checkouts are great for small orders but not when you have a full order and are disabled. Not okay.

Part of management treats employees very poorly, including accusing young men of lying about being exposed to COVID, their family having COVID, and taking care of their poor sick mother for a week while she was stuck in bed, again, *WITH COVID*. Disgusting behavior, whoever accused him of this deserves to be reprimanded AND fired. Obviously does not care about the health and wellbeing of employees or shoppers here. Will Not be going back.

Meijer's is normally one of my favorite places to shop but the prices are getting a little to high and the sales are just plain dumb. Saw some things that said they we're on sale but the prices were the same as they were when they were not in sale. The cashier that checked me out today was great!

The Greeter Mr. James is the most friendly greeter. He doesn't just say hello but will actually take a moment to chit chat with you especially if he can sense that you need more than just a hello. It's nice to know there is a pleasant familiar face after a long arduous day.

Found some great birthday presents and at great sale prices to boot!! But later outside when I was getting my grandson buckled in a nice man took care of my cart, he said I thought you needed some help you had your hands full. So great store and great customer 's.

Why does this store have so many empty shelves all the time. They also took shrinkflation way overboard so you end up spending more for less product and rpices are outrageous. So few deals this last time I went too. Not enough cashiers so you have to use self check out.
