Visited Michigan after 25 years and stopped into kens several times with friends. Loved the store! Great layout, fantastic produce, friendly and helpful employees! The quality impressed me as well as the prices. We need stores like these in TN but it makes my heart happy to have visited. Those beef sticks were outta this world amazing! Thank you. Will definitely visit again. Next time maybe the beefsticks will make it to TN with me, ate them all before the trip home 😁

Hands down my favorite place to shop! The produce is always top tier and the meat is fresh and not full of hormones and preservatives. That said, buy it as you need it and cook it soon after.

Ken's is a great little market in town. Always has fresh produce and a good variety of items. Very friendly staff that is willing to help with any questions. One of the best parts is the meat counter. Lots to choose from and fresh. We love coming here to try the many, and I mean many, varieties of brats!!! In the spring and summer they have a good selection of plants as well. We have and will continue to recommend this market.

I always love Ken's market. If you are new to Grand Rapids go try Ken's, they have an awesome variety of fresh meats, fruits and veggies and so much more they have expanded the market. It is awesome. So worth your trip.🌺

Very nice market with a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is also a great meat department. I can get almost all the groceries I need here.

The vegetables were not incredibly fresh and they were a bit pricey. However I did find a nice selection of nuts at good prices and there's lots of specialty items and great looking baked goods.

I love kens. Always have. Great meat selection and different bulk items like candy sorts and or gummies. It has a small selection of things like chips pastas they have tons of homemade sauces salsas and things of that sort. Tons of veggies and fruits fresh. Well worth it. The prices are very reasonable.

The Kens in Plainfield has great fruits and veg. Organized. HOWEVER, their cashier should be let go... What a bitter woman... For being in customer service she has no qualities of the such. Threw all my produce in the same bag and didn't care what she squished. Turned my avocados that I took time picking into guacamole the way she threw them into the bag and placed things on top.You could hire better people to be the face of your business. That black woman was not it...

The produce always looks good. 4 pack of avocado's were past prime but the rest of the displays looked great. They weren't as friendly walking through the store this time, but usually they are quite friendly.

This is My local grocery store! I am the type of person who would rather spend a couple more bucks and shop a smaller store than a giant one like Meijer. So I come here. I've had good experiences all over and been coming here since they opened on Plainfield. All the customer service reps are kind to me except 1. That's it. Still 5 stars cuz 1 person shouldn't ruin my whole experience. The selection is good too and never had issues with rotting fruit or produce.

Very nice outdoor living center. I wish they had a cashier outside. Great Meats, veggies, and Ken's own salsas, jams, etc. Good for wine and candy lovers too.

Ken is a local that started a couple small grocery stores. This location (Plainfield) is the largest and has the best layout. You need to check all fruit and vegetables before buying. If you do that, you should be happy with Ken's Market. They also have a meat counter.

The deli counter worked to locate the special turkey pastrami I wanted. I couldn't find it for two weeks, so I took home two pounds worth! It's delicious. Thanks for taking care of me and I appreciate the reasonable meat prices at the counter too. Always a great place to shop for finding something new or gourmet.

They always have great fruits and veggies including dried fruits. Very good meat department. The store is small so they don't have every brand but I can get everything on my grocery list at reasonable prices. They do have a wide variety of spices for cooking. Very helpful staff.

I shopped at Ken's on Plainfield on August 20th the sales person was Ken he loaded $10 on my double up food bucks card I returned on the 15th to spend them I went to a sales person named Andrea to confirm the amount on the card before shopping I returned to her lane where she stated she was closed and left when I went to check out on another lane I was told there was nothing on my card the line was packed with angry customers I've never been so humiliated...

I've shopped Ken's for years and have never been disappointed. They have a great meat counter with plenty of choices. A vast selection of specialty foods and brands you won't find at the big stores. Friendly and helpful staff.

One of my favorite markets to shop at. They source as much of their inventory as possible locally. I won't buy my meat and produce anywhere else. They also participate in the double up bucks program if you use an EBT card. This has been an absolute lifesaver for me as grocery prices rise. Having fresh produce on a budget is hard, so the double up program is a godsend.

Nice clean place...could use more cashiers. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Ken's! I honestly can't say enough. Since my last post, they have gotten more cashier's and they are ALL very pleasant and welcoming. Great place to shop! Especially for fresh produce and meat.I also LOVE how they come up with new and different meal enhancements like meats and seafood choices! They have a stuffed whole chicken breast, and a Salmon stuffed with REAL Crabmeat at simply AMAZING! All you have to do is put them in the oven, and pull out perfection!

Love this store! If you enjoy he old fashioned penny candy this is your place. It's sold by he pound but you'll find a lot of favorites your grandma use to buy. Prices are fair, fruit and veggies delicious and fresh. One of my favorite spots

I went because about 6 years ago one of by buddies bought some ghost pepper brats. They were super hot but we couldn't stop eating them. So while I was in grand Rapids I made point to go and buy some. 5.29 a pound which isn't bad for handmade. Can't go wrong with them. Had 3 people in front of me but it didn't take but 10 minutes to go in get them and be back in my truck.
