This was my first time stopping in, so to be fair, this may not be the typical experience. I stopped in for a lock de-icer for my car. They were conveniently up front. Unfortunately, after trying 3 of them, none of them worked. The bubble packaging was stapled on each one. When I asked the clerk, he said faulty packaging. None of the three I tried sprayed properly, making them useless. On top of that, they only had one clerk up front. He had to leave the front unattended to help a gentleman outside. Both of us were held up at the store for nearly 30 min. Faulty products, overpriced (nearly 40% over other stores) and inadequate help up front. I hope your experience is better.

The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful! I even made a comment to one of the workers that I felt so welcomed just to be walking around in there. I just had to drop off a package for UPS and was in and out in like 2 minutes top— they even printed me a receipt!

Went in looking for assistance in plumbing for my tub drain lever, needing a replacement part. The staff was very upfront that I missed their specialist who runs that department. But confidently and positively said they would do all they could to help me solve my plumbing issue. Manager Leah was the lead in solving our puzzle and was a great teacher to a newer hire Carson. Showing him the ropes on customer service. The part was found and my problem was solved. They even ensured it was the right part by helping attach it to my existing pieces I brought in. Ace is once again the place I go back to because of their fun and helpful staff. Thankyou!!

When I walked in Ace, I was greeted by two employees. I asked them where I could fine an item and they walked to show me where it was Asked if I needed help to fine any other items, which I didn't. I was in and out in lead then 10 minutes.

75%+ AISLES ARE NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE, sales staff doesn't seem to really want to help you even someone in a wheelchair, & prices here higher than any other ACE Hardware store I've ever been to

They have many items that you will need for a small project. The staff is helpful most of the time. They do not know everything, but they will act like they do. Take most of the advice with caution. I had an incident where their advice put me in the hospital.

I’ve been coming to this store frequently since moving to the area. Most of the employees have been very generous with their time and expertise. However, I will not go in during the day anymore because the daytime cashier is very rude and snippy. Not sure if she’s been doing her job too long or what her problem is, but a fair amount of my business has been lost due to her behavior.

Ace hardwares in general are great. Staff is usually quite knowledgeable. If they don’t know something the go with you to ask the old guy to find out. They must have tests to who knows where the most stuff is in the store. Most of the help can tell you by isle and shelf where the item you are looking for is located, and they’ll walk you over to it.

Great customer service on the phone and in store. An associate was asking if I needed anything as soon as he was done helping his previous customer and quickly found the bolts I needed and bagged them up for me. Will definitely be shopping there next time I need hardware for a project

This is the old Riley's Ace hardware. They did a great job and the new owners have continued to carry the torch. They have everything you need and even some things you don't LOL. They really do have an awesome selection of products and the staff is very helpful.

Only once had someone who was unpersonable and didn’t communicate well.Slightly higher prices compared to other hardware stores, but more than happy to support local and pay for the pleasant environment and hard work of employees. Can’t beat the convenient location.

Super helpful and nice people. I tend to buy most of my things from other big box stores for the cost savings. However having a hardware store right down the street from the shop can be time and money saving especially when I just need one or two things.

Conveniently located, able to fill most "forgot to grab this at a big hardware store" type needs. Generally pricier, but they do have a good selection of many different tools and materials. Sometimes you can even find an ingenious little thing that would be more easily overlooked at say Home Depot. Staff is also helpful and the sales they can have end up being pretty nice.

This is the best hardware store on the West Side. They have always had everything I need, they have a rewards program, and all of the employees are kind and helpful. They've got the inventory that the big box stores have, with the atmosphere that you'd expect in a mom and pop shop. I would definitely recommend this Ace.

Ace hardware in walker was great to say the least, from me leaving and coming back 3 times because I forgotten what the tool number was everytime only to remember I have a hand held camera in my pocket made me feel kind of silly. The to gentlemen who worked there were patient with me and hadshown me the right direction which was left with many options and I appreciate that. Good job guys.

Took about 15-20 minutes to get some blades out of cabinet. Seriously? Saw 3 different employees were just standing there and they all told me "I called for someone already"
