Hands down the best boarding experience. Dogtopia was more then willing to help accomodate our dog's boarding during a busy time for them and working around my due date. I went into labor before my induction date and they were more then willing to allow our dog to be dropped off very last minute close to there closing time. Our dog was treated very well during his entire stay.

They have very reasonable policies! They also have very attentive and knowledgeable staff. I stopped in randomly (before deciding on daycare) and staff members were very responsive to my several questions. Sawyer, my dog, loves going there! Introduction day is a great way to see if your pooch is compatible!

Tried to board my dog because I was having back surgery the following week. Was told that my 14 year old dog could be boarded because there was not time for them to “interview my dog” . “That they want to make sure SHE feels safe… Never heard such a ridiculous thing in my life. My dog is extremely gentale, has arthritis. and just wags her tail with delight with all people and animals. Thanks for helping out someone in a compromised position. I

Flexible pick up and drop off times, dogs are consistently supervised, I'm able to share my dog's boundaries for staff. Love being able to check on my dog throughout the day and see the environment as well. Dogtopia does many fun events with the pups!

The staff at this location profile based on the breed of your dog and do not follow the proper steps of introducing a dog to others.We took our Akita for a meet and greet and were told that she would be let in to the room to get oriented and then progressively, the other dogs would be let in 2-3 at a time. My husband watched on the screen as they let our dog in and then brought in ALL of the other dogs at one time. To no fault of their own, the other dogs surrounded her, sniffing and getting in her face. The ONLY reaction our dog had was the hair on her neck standing up. She was immediately deemed “aggressive” and we were told she didn’t pass and she wasn’t welcome for 6 months, when we would be allowed to schedule another meet and greet to try again. We are well aware of the reputation that Akitas have and if our dog embodied any of those characteristics, we wouldn’t have entertained the idea of socializing her. She is 3 years old, socialized, very good with other dogs and has never had ANY issues with any type of aggression. How is she to blame when the staff here didn’t follow the steps that they said they would be taking to ensure a proper introduction?If this was how they handle the dogs during a meet and greet where they can acquire new customers, I can only imagine the shortcuts they take on the daily when they already have your money.

Our silver lab, Harbaugh, loves Dogtopia. In fact, it seems like all of his friends love going to “school” at Dogtopia. Like many busy families, we are on the go all week and it can be lonely for a stay-at-home dog who needs to run around and play regularly. Dogtopia is a great way to keep your best buddy healthy and happy, not to mention the value of having a pet who’s well socialized with other dogs. We love that he can be checked on via their WiFi cameras and he always comes home happy and tired out from a long day of fun with his buddies. The staff are all very nice and we love the little extras that they do for birthdays and holidays. Top notch franchise!

Very friendly service every time I come in for drop off or pick-up. Also receive quick and helpful responses via email as well! My dog LOVES going to daycare at Dogtopia and I love that he is in a safe place there and can he even get his nails trimmed while he's there if he needs it! We are very happy clients that would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a doggie daycare!

Staff is amazing. Very friendly. Very welcoming.Facility is very nice. Only issue I have is the protocol for pick up. Anyone can walk in and say I’m here for your dog and there’s no security measures to ensure your dog is going to who it is suppose to go too. My fiancé went to pick up my dog one day. They brought out the wrong dog🤦🏻 very uneasy feeling. My friend had the same thing happen. I canceled the membership. Until they fix their issues with security measures. I’m not comfortable leaving my dog there.pets are part of our families and with that being said they should be protected like their family.

The absolute best place for your pup to be well cared for and loved!!! My dog is excited as soon as we turn towards camp. She always returns to me happy and tired from a day of playing. They are welcoming, kind and have a lot of fun! They have a calendar of the fun things they do and to me, that shows how much they love what they do. They go the extra mile to mix it up and have the best time! I have a pup prom and a birthday picture from them and they are so cute!!! They know how to capture the perfect moment! I will never stop recommending them every chance I get. If you want peace of mind while you are away from your pup, bring them to Dogtopia!!!

Our pup LOVES Dogtopia. He gets to play most of day (nap time noon to 2) and comes home so tired and happy. They send me adorable pictures of him while he's at daycare and they get playtime outside. It was pretty warm out last time he went to daycare and they brought the sprinkler out for the pups to play in and stay cool. So cute! We love Dogtopia and their employees. I know my dog is constantly supervised and in good hands here.

We have been so happy with our experience at Dogtopia!! Our very playful energetic pup absolutely loves it! He gets to play all day with his puppy pals and comes home very happy (and sleepy). I feel like we’re really getting our money’s worth and our dog clearly has so much fun here! I feel like it’s a treat bringing him there! We also used the full spa service and were very happy with the service! He was super clean and fluffy!!

Dogtopia makes it so easy. Most importantly it is a fun, safe, clean cheerful environment to leave your beloved dog. The staff is well trained, kind and helpful and the ease of drop off and pick up is very streamline. I especially LOVE the app which allows me to look in on the web cam throughout the day, and schedule play days in advance. My dog Izzy is so happy to go there which gives me great comfort. Great place!

Our doggo has so much fun at doggy daycare! The staff is great and seem to really enjoy all of the animals. Drop off and pick up is easy and it's fun at pick up time to see all of the other doggos as they get picked up too. Our pup is always exhausted when she gets home from playing all day!

Edit: worst doggy daycare center out there. They take priority with staff dog's then their customers dogs who actually pay quite a bit of money to go there. I wish my original review was accurate but it was great at the beginning and that was it.-------------------------------------------------------------------Love how nice the staff are! Also love how you can check-in on your pup anytime with the web cams. Otis leaves Dogtopia completely exhausted every time he goes. Thanks for being awesome Dogtopia!

I had a great first experience here! My pup had never been to any doggy daycares before so I had a ton of questions that were all answered. The staff was super friendly and welcoming to both me and my pup. It really put me at ease. My pup came out super happy (and tired!). We will definitely be coming back!

Dogtopia is the BEST! Clean, great hours, awesome staff! And our puppy loves it there!! He comes home totally exhausted but always ready to go back for another visit with his friends. As soon as we get close he knows where he’s at and goes crazy and cries and can’t get out of the car fast enough! Highly recommend this place to everyone who has a furry friend!! Check it out ASAP! Very upfront about EVERYTHING! My pup and I were welcomed with smiles and happiness!!! My dog is a loud hound so when they were happy to see her even being loud, it made a HUGE difference to me. Love this place and my pup does too! He is always very excited when we pull up and pulls the employees to the room because he is SO excited to play. It’s perfect to get some extra energy out so he doesn’t get destructive in our home. Also love that they have cameras so that I can check in on him, every time I do he looks very happy!

*******Do NOT send your dog there!!***********My 12lb puppy was bitten by another dog who is 3x her size!! It was so Bad!! One wound was on her shoulder, three on her billy plus bruises! She was in so much pain!! I immediately took her to the Animal Emergency Hospital where she spent the night and got her wounds stitched! I am so grateful that the wounds were not so deep to damage any of her organs!That should not have happened if the staff were well trained and paid more attention, also if the dogs were separated by size! I don’t know WHY the small dogs are with the medium dogs! They have three rooms IN which should separate dogs by size: small/medium/large!! WORST experience ever! I hope they would take better safety measures to ensure this will never happen again to another dog!!

Our dog juniper absolutlety loves going here for daycare. We also find that her nail trimming is very well done. They keep dogs semi seperated by energy level and size which makes all the dogs comfortable in daycare. They also get a nap during the day, which we love. All the staff is very nice and seem as they treat every dog like their own. I feel very confident that the staff does everything in their power to ensure each dog has a great day. Well worth every dollar.

Initially our experience was great. With time their service declined. Towards the end my dog was wrongly accused of biting several times (evidence that this wasn't true was captured on video recordings). Finally we decided to find a place that had suucicient staff to ensure a safe and fun environment for our dog.

I've been to half a dozen different doggy daycares in the Grand Rapids area, and Dogtopia is by far the best, and the only one I'll go to while I live here.They are the only ones who I've seen properly social distancing. They offer curbside service and the employee doing pickup/dropoff is always wearing a mask. Their customer service is excellent, and their webcams are always functioning properly. Bear has been to daycare tons of times and has never had an injury there. On occasions where he wasn't feeling well, they called me right away and took care of him separately until I was able to pick him up. They also pay close attention to the dogs while they're playing and they've given me cute little updates about new friends he's made while he's there. I love it.One daycare I visited in the area this week had no curbside service and not a single employee was wearing a mask (!!!). Another one offered curbside service but the employee who came out to pick him up wasn't wearing a mask. When I asked about it, they claimed the masks "scare the dogs" so they don't wear them. Ridiculous.Dogtopia is a 40 minute drive from my house now, and they are slightly costlier than most other daycares in the area, but I will always choose them over the others. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Thanks for all that you do, Dogtopia!!
