Like usual there was only one lane open and several people in line!! The person running the line isn't very friendly, which is part of management's problem!! Gobles is a small town and everyone pretty much knows everyone!! So for them to hire someone with no personality or isn't friendly is not working in a small town if you want to keep your customers!! I wish upper management would read these and take heed before it's to late!!

Some of the people that work there are really nice . Mostly they don't make you feel very welcome. I hate going to their deli because the employees act like they hate working there and are put off by having to do their jobs. Hate giving up for review but it's true

Prices are higher than bigger chain stores, but they are close! Gas prices are high these days and they offer discounts at their gas stations when you grocery shop at their stores.Love cashiers. No U scan, which makes me happy!Update: still happy have the option to shop close to home!Update April 2024: only one cashier this evening, and she was also the 'person in charge'. Was NOT enough staff

A good grocery store for where it is. It was a bit hard to find what I was looking for. The product locations didn't make sense, but that was the only negative I had. They had everything I was looking for and the employees were very nice and helpful.

Our family shops here weekly. They have different hours in the winter vs the summer - they stay open longer in the summer.They also have a rewards program that if you buy certain things you can get a certain amount off every gallon of gas at their gas station next door.The staff is always friendly and you generally see the same people working. The deli is small but has a nice selection. The store is always clean and I've never had issues navigating isles due to merchandise blocking the way like sometimes happens at larger stores.

Check out the Seafood Sales when they advertise them! The salmon and scallops are usually excellent! Saw the beer cooler cleaned out in April 2023, it now has a beer cave! Donuts went up.

Quick and easy. Cost a bit more..Selection can't be counted on.Victor (a asst. manager)told me that the money order machine was down and not working. On Feb. 3 2021..I called the next day to see if it was working...the woman that answered the phone was surprised that I was checking on it. She (Sue) said that it's been working just fine, which included yesterday. I had a bill to pay... I'm on a cane, so it's not always easy to get around. I went in today...got the money order..Than went to the post office to send off my bill.Not terribly impressed with Victor.

Very high priced, very very very high priced. I only frequent this store once or twice a year just for the convenience. And I have lived in Gobles for 22 years now. A regular working man can't afford that store for sure. Although under new ownership it is better kept and a lot cleaner. And that's why I give it a two rating.

Good grocery store for basic needs. Little to none substitutes for pork. No Turkey sausage and just one type of Turkey bacon. But I'll go again to avoid driving to meijer if I only need a few basic items. Produce section was decent.

Store is doing a great job of updating. Nice that there is hand wipes and hand cleansers at the checkout. The new upright freezers and changes in the produce area, and putting the jams near the bread are welcomed updates. Shields between customers and checkout s.
