What a fantastic little shop. At first glance you may pass it off as a typical souvenir store, but you’d be mistaken. They do have local T-shirts, hoodies and such, but the place is peppered with the most delightful and eccentric toys and novelties. Top top it off, the storekeeper is a delightful lady that will happily tell you the most interesting stories about her shop and merchandise. Don’t pass by, this is a great shop and experience.

Fun store. My 11 year old loved this store, including the friendly puppy. Cards here are beautiful and cheap. The store owner is friendly. Got a variety of crazy lil items such as these dino claws.

I stopped in today because I usually stop every year. The woman working was absolutely wonderful. We shared stories for quite a while and it was refreshing to talk to somebody who enjoys their job. ❤️

This proprietor (who may never sleep as she owns and opperates no fewer than three stores in Frankfurt and Traverse City) is a cornucopia of knowlege and information, amazingly helpful and just a lovely human being. This store has not only a terrific variety (as implied by the Five&Dime title) but also the best prices in town (in my experience, particularly with children's goods -- toys, arts & crafts, etc). YOU MUST STOP HERE FIRST... or you will surely regret it, if only in the overspending department. =o) Enjoy your visit to the blissful Northern Michigan!!

UPS mistakenly sent a time sensitive package meant for me to Anet & Ollie's 5 and Dime. Frannie, realizing the mistake, quickly contacted UPS and arranged to have it sent to me. That is GREAT customer service. I look forward to stopping in the next time I'm in Frankfort.

Visited this store a few minutes ago. Dog was barking at us. Woman behind the counter ignored the dog and didn’t even take the lease as the dog barked from the counter. She never spoke to us. Although I saw items I was interested in purchasing, I left.
